Diva Salon

I walked into this salon about 6 months ago to get a trim. My regular stylist was out of the country and I couldn’t wait any longer. Unilocal and a sign in the window indicated that walk-​ins were welcome. I walked in. There was one woman in a chair near the back and no one who worked there in sight. I waited for someone who worked there to come into view. After about 3 – 4 minutes, the customer in the chair in the back asked if I had an appointment. I said I was a walk-​in. She yelled for the man who was working on her who came out of another room. His customer pointed at me and I asked if he could do a trim. He gave me the once-​over, shook his head and said said «no» as he walked back into the room from which he appeared. His customer couldn’t believe it. I walked out and waited for my stylist to get back from vacation.

Great service with great ambiance. The place is nicely decorated and has very nice people who work there. Everyone is very friendly!

Amanda the owner gave me the best pedicure and foot leg massage! Warm comfortable sofas. The best is the fresh air and English speaking personel. Great parking!

Came in on a whim to get a wax. The lady was nice enough but the whole salon gave me a weird stare when I first walked in like, «who the hell are you and what are you doing here?» The area caters mostly to an older crowd it seems, so I felt a bit awkward coming into the place since it was very localized. She was nice and friendly enough after I explained who I was there to see. She did a good job but I felt she was slightly too abrasive with her hands and her type of wax she used was hard and she pressed very VERY firmly on my face when she was spreading the wax across. I felt less pampered and more like a sheep getting sheared. Thank you for your time.

We love this place! Our family goes to Christine. She does a fabulous job cutting our hair and she is amazing with young children, too. We have been going to her for nearly 5 years. The Salon is excellent. Very clean, everyone is very kind, parking is easy and the location is convenient. Highly recommend!

Cute shop with both hair and nails available. The staff are super nice and always go above and beyond. Walkin welcomed.

I remember this place from back in the 1980’s when it used to be called «A New Attitude Salon». It has changed owners a few times since then and it is now called «Diva Salon». Lynn (who used to own «A New Attitude» Salon) is back as a stylist and has not lost her magical touch with the shears. She is very personable, happy, and does a great job. That is why my family has been going to her for over 25 years. If you need to have your nails done, they can do that as well. They are located in the Albertson’s shopping center across the street from the Flower Hill Mall and are in a great location off of the 5 freeway at Via de la Valle. Highly recommended. When you go there, ask for Lynn!

This place is great! Found it by Unilocal since I moved to the area recently. The owner, who did my pedicure and manicure was fantastic! She was nice, easy to talk to, friendly, and professional. She took her time and I didn’t feel rushed one bit (especially for coming in around 530). The place is clean, offers full service hair salon, nails, facials, and more. This isn’t your average salon!

I’ve been to countless nail salons and spas before, I definitely recommend Diva Salon. I am surprised they dont have any reviews on here yet. Anyhow, this is a hidden gem. worth trying! I’ve only gotten my nails done here and have to say I appreciate the friendliness, english speaking only, professional and most importantly clean atmosphere. the girls here are extremely nice, they do waxing and hair as well. I recommend making an appointment! five stars to them and i totally recommend them without any hesitations!!!

WOW, I can’t believe Diva has never had a review… I started going to April, the owner, about 5 years ago when my best girlfriend referred me. She specializes in blond highlights and always make my hair look fabulous! She is also amazing at blow outs, and after my hair has been done, I don’t have to touch it for 2 days! yay to April and Diva!
