This was the worst restaurant for service. The place was busy but everyone was complaining about how long it took to just get water on the table. Then it took almost an hour to get soup and salad. THe main dishes for four at our table took over a half hour more to get. My dish was excellent but the other three were just ok. After paying, we talked to customers on the porch and they said they would never come back as it took forever to get service and food. There are other Greek restaurants that care about the customer and also have good food. Oh, for the tip we gave just under 10 percent.

A good variety of Greek and American food. Always friendly and nice staff. Nothing amazing, but good all around. Patio allows dogs!

Really bad service. We asked for water twice and were ignored until I got up and went to the front, interrupted my waitress who was texting, holding my water glass and asked a third time. Dry, dry, dry, overly fried falafel. Otherwise the food is decent. I recommend the lemon chicken soup.

I went there for lunch with a coupon from enjoy the city magazine. It clearly states enjoy one free menu item of your choice with purchase of equal or greater value up to 8.50. The first time I attempted to use it, they declined it because they said you can’t use it for take out. On the back it says not valid with any other discounts, coupons, specials, or on holidays. One coupon per table per visit. I was a little annoyed, but didn’t cause a scene. The second time I went back, they refused to take the coupon because they claimed a combination is a lunch special; which makes no sense because it’s on the regular menu. I ordered a gyro with salad for 8.95 maybe, and they proceeded to argue that there is no difference between a special and a combination. They just didn’t want to accept the coupon. I went there to try it out, and twice they would not honor the coupon, I would not deal with those people again. So from that one coupon they got business from me twice, and no coupon was accepted. Honestly the food is better in my opinion at Greek islands in Fort Lauderdale. Taso makes a mediocre gyro and a subpar Greek salad. I have never been to an authentic Greek restaurant where they are so cheap that they use lettuce in their Greek salad.

DONOTEATHERE !!! Worst food. Figured we try it because it’s in the coupon book. Ordered a Greek Salad with Shrimp. Shrimp was great. Tomatoes were not ripe and dressing was gross. See the pic below in how it was served. The grape leaves were bitter. The service was great but the owner said he was not taking this gross salad off the bill. By the way I didn’t ask the waitress asked and they said no. Let me know if you want the rest of my coupons because I’ll never be back.

I got sick within hours of eating their food. It was delicious, but definitely not worth the food poisoning I got.

This is some of the worst Greek food I’ve ever had. I came here with my fiancé because he works near by, and I hated every moment of it. I ordered the pork platter, the meat was so chewy I literally ate one bite. It’s practically inedible. My fiancé ordered the mixed platter, which comes with chicken, gyro meat, and pork. The chicken is the only decent meat, so he traded me my pork for his chicken. How admirable. Everything here is definitely frozen. The Greek salad was ok, the tomatoes were sweet and juicy. The worst part of the meal though wasn’t even the food, it was the lack of cleanliness. There was a dead bug on the dusty ledge next to me and yellow splatter on the walls. It literally looks like the walls have never been cleaned. I’ve attached a photo of it in my review. I really wanted to like this place, the outside porch is really cute, but I absolutely hated it and found the place filthy.

Close by and a little out of the way but it’s a favorite place when you can’t answer«what do you want for dinner?» Specials every night. Try the moussaka. Our favorite. It’s a family place. Try it, you’ll like it. Bring a sweater tho.

Horrible service. Not customer friendly at all. It says they close at 9pm but when we arrived at 8:35pm, they told us the kitchen was closed. If you want delicious Greek cuisine with great customer service, Zorba’s less than a mile on the same road is far ether AND they give you a bowl of soup with your meal rather than Taso who gives you a cup.

I wouldn’t suggest this restaurant for a good meal. I ordered a gyro at full price and I wanted to substitute the fries for lemon potatoes. I was told this was not possible and I even asked if I could pay an up charge for them. The fries were undercooked and not seasoned. I ordered my pita with no lettuce and add onions, what I got was lettuce and no onions. There was also no tzatziki sauce on it. After eating there I know that I am not prone to seizures. The ceiling fans produce a strobe lighting effect. So much for a relaxing dinner.

We were at this restaurant over 4 years ago on vacation and really annoyed our dinners. We’ve been dying to go back ever since and finally can now that we live in Florida(still 2 hours away, but closer than Texas! Still the best calamari we’ve ever had, our benchmark for every other restaurant. Today we were just in for lunch and both had the gyro platter and we loved every bite. Baklava to go since we were so full. We’ll be happy to return next time we are in the vicinity, we need more bread and Tzatziki sauce! This place isn’t fancy, it isn’t modern, but if you want authentic and delicious Greek food, look no further!

This is my first time here at Taso’s. I was recommended by my manager, saying they had a great Greek salad. I’ve only eaten Greek once before, but the experience here was like no other. Gyro pita, felafel pita, and some ff… FINGER-LICKING good! The food is great here! And excellent guest service from my server, Kathy, made me feel welcomed, at home, and added to a memorable experience. This is the official new lunch spot from now on! $ 6 lunch specials!!!

We decided to go to Taso’s because we’re looking for someone to cater Greek food for our wedding. For appetizers, the pita was stale, the calamari was disgusting and purple stuff squirted out, and the spanikopita was from a freezer box. For dinner, the chicken florentine was mediocre, but the soup and vegetables that came with it were disappointing. The gyro pita was bland. Upon complaint to the manger, he replied that we needed to put more sauce on it, and that’s the way the gyro is and has always been. We will never go back again. The yawning hostess and the terrible food convinced us … Next time we’ll go to Chris’ Taverna instead.

Food had a nice flavor lamb giro for the both me and my love. Portions were somewhat small but that may be cause I order everything on the side with extra pittas. It will be enough for a lite lunch tomorrow. Facility was clean and it was nice to sit on the front patio out of the sunlight, there was a nice breeze and smoking is permitted while dining on the patio area. Service was good quality and the food came out fast for dinner time. They only had 3 tables throughout our entire cost. This may be one of Delrays best kept sleepers… Have to come I during the evening to see it the quality changes.

Ordered take out from here for lunch and was very dissatisfied! The falafel is dry and tasteless, the lettuce that came with the pita was brown and wilted and the fries taste like they were cooked three days ago. This is FAR from authentic Greek food. I would never give this place a second chance.

I discovered that I had a coupon to redeem for the restaurant and decided to make an appearance for lunch today. At first, I thought they weren’t open when I drove by since it was in the corner of a plaza next to several places that were up for lease. The open sign was lit when I drove by again, so I stopped in for a bite. I got the Loukankio appetizer, which is Greek sausage served with pita bread with a satsiki dip along with a side of fries with feta cheese. It was alright. The sausage needed more spices for the flavor and I wasn’t much of a fan for the overcooked fries along with the feta cheese not being broken up enough on top of them. The staff was attentive and kept making sure we were happy with our meal and I didn’t have it in my heart to complain about the food. Would I go back to give it a second chance? Probably not since I wasn’t too impressed with the quality of the food. It’s 2.5 stars from me.
