We went here for lunch and it was my husbands first time there and I haven’t been in years. I was glad to see the quality of food has stayed the same. Awesome. I had a lobster roll on a homemade roll with Asian slaw which gave a different but good taste. The roll was so fresh and buttery. It came with homemade chips. My husband had a burger on homemade roll that was soft and flavorful. The burger was juicy and tastefully seasoned. My husband commented that was the first time he has eaten a burger and has not been stuffed and wanting to sleep afterwards. The burger came with fries. For lunch for two with a soda was 26.00! This is still one of the best restaurants around and when the weather is nice they have an outdoor garden to enjoy.

Don’t waste your time going here unless you enjoy being treated rudely. They have a very nice view of the lake but no real food to enjoy while you are tasting. Came to visit from Florida and will never go back here. SUPERRUDE employees!!!

This winery isn’t located right on the lake but that’s a good thing. The view of the hills and the lake was breath taking. They had a great selection of wines to choose from. The people that work there are knowledgeable and friendly. Some of the other wineries we went to tended to be a bit more cheesy, selling a lot of wine related paraphernalia. This was not the case at Starkey’s. They rely on their breath taking view, good wine, and good atmosphere(which is truly all they need).

I went to Starkey’s Lookout on 8÷19÷15 with my husband. The Finger Lakes has a «beer trail» that is growing and it was recommended as a place for beer. It did not disappoint. Starkey’s fruity beer specifically stood out to me. It is hard to do a beer that actually tastes like what it describes and Starkey’s did it well. I loved the fruit sodas(thanks to the other Unilocalers who pointed out that this was an option as well). I brought home a growler of the orange soda to share with friends. I thought our server was very nice. I got the feeling that he was more of a beer than wine drinker(Starkey’s offers beer and wine tasting options). My husband, the server and I had a nice discussion about how beer is so much more than the cheapest beer you can fit into a keg. Starkey’s seemed to be a great place to host an event. I liked the clean and modern(and the fact that the gift shop was not the main focus of the tasting room) feel of Starkey’s. In a nutshell, if you’re a beer or wine drinker and happen to find yourself on this side of the lakes well worth a stop.

Decent beers, but I was happy to just try some beers in the Finger Lakes. A really nice space. It looked like they were setting up for a wedding on the day we visited. It’s not on the lake, but it has a nice view and the building is quite nice. The wine isn’t bad at all. It was less sweet than the other wineries we tried(which is a good thing!) The tasting(both for beer and wine) comes with a nice tasting glass to take home. Worth stopping by.

Great spot with an awesome deck overlooking Seneca Lake. Great for both wine and beer tastings. Also have some good snacks which are great as most of the west side of the lake is lacking places to eat. Personal pizza did the trick.

Great views of Seneca lake. Beautiful space with a cozy fire. The staff was off today. This is a favorite spot of our friends but today they seemed overwhelmed with the business of groups and bachelorette parties. This isn’t a place to miss though if you want a good picture or view.

They have an amazing view and they have both beer wine. Great place to have a beer and chill. They also have some food but I was just there for the beer. They have eight of their own beers on tap. You can get samples or a pint. They also have bands sometimes.

Stopped in for lunch. Nice facility. Beautiful view. Good beer. Food sucked. Came cold, tasted like it was all microwaved. No silverware or napkins with meal. Took manager a long time to show up to refund our money. Enjoy the beer, don’t bother with the food.

Inadequate food, decent beer, great location. Got a plate of salami and cheese(cheddar). Salami was really something you buy at Target or Walmart. Served pretty poorly at the price of almost 17 $. Disappointment. Wish we stopped at the place down the street that served wieners in a bun:-(. Beer was ok, nothing special. Great location overlooking the lake. A shame, could be so much better.

«Oh. My. Gosh.» The first words that came out of my mouth getting off the bus as we walked to the entrance of Starkey’s Lookout. Such a beautiful view and the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s an expansive venue — separate rooms for wine tasting, beer tasting, a lounge area with tables, couches and a fireplace, plus a snack bar. The wines were good with a few that stood out. On the other hand, their root beer is insane! I highly suggest you sample some and immediately buy a growler to bring home to make root beer floats. The flavor is strong and lingers — warm herb and spices used in this brew. I wish I did the beer sampling too. But, as usual we were on a schedule with our tour of Seneca Lake and couldn’t hang for the day, which is what you want to do at this place. So, I’ll be back for that! I sampled most of the dry wines with the dry riesling, the cab franc and the sangiovese among my top picks from the tasting. We went home with a bottle of the dry riesling for ~$ 15. Also, get the soft pretzels with cheese and mustard. They won’t disappoint.

This is a really cool place that has a little bit of everything. It’s perched atop a small hill overlooking Lake Seneca and the view is amazing. The wines here were pretty good, though we didn’t try a ton since we came here on the 2nd half of a wine tour. We refueled at the small café and they make pretty darn good food here. The chili and the naan pizza were very good and something I would definitely eat again. They also have a beer tasting area and I really liked several of their brews, especially their scotch ale. Overall, it’s a great place!

What a great find! My group sampled the beer and wine and made a nice long stop at Starkeys. Driving up we were impressed with the building. It is expansive and beautiful. It is a newer place so it doesn’t have as much charm as some of the other places but it is large, modern, comfortable, and clean. The server on the beer side was a very sweet girl. Everyone in the group sampled 4oz beer pours and 2 soda pours. I was a big fan of the belgian style white and the scotch ale. The wine side left something to be desired, as the wine wasn’t that good and the guy pouring it was even worse. They have a little food area in between the two sections that had some nice snacks and sandwiches. The highlight was the patio area that overlooked Seneca. The view was spectacular and the seating area was very nice. This was a great place and one of the better places to stop, spend some time, and relax.

What a pleasant surprise… beer! Lots of Belgian Beer that is! For $ 7 you can try 8 different beers, plus two homemade sodas! I enjoyed the Tangerine Wit the best, with the kick of tangerine it was very refreshing. A lot of times I feel like Belgian beers have a strong aftertaste, but I also liked the Belgian Amber because it was very smooth with hardly no aftertaste at all. So after trying 8 beers, you know what I walked out with? Root Beer! And I swear, I don’t even like regular Root Beer that much. It was just THATGOOD! Apparently it’s the owners Grandfathers recipe and he knows how to make a good Root Beer, I’ll tell ya that! I thought I’d like the Orange Cream Soda more, but nope, the root won me over! The place of course also offers wine, but to me it was equal parts winery, equal parts brewery. Both areas are huge with a middle common room connecting the two. And it was PACKED! it took a while to squeeze in to try the beers. I can see why now! This has to be a MUST on your list if you like beer… or Root beer!

Great new vineyard, winery, and brewery. Beautiful views and an amazing amount of space to settle down outside or in the wine tasting and beer rooms. The staff was top notch and very helpful. The food available appeared to be high quality and priced well, but we were not hungry. You can sample five great wines for $ 4 and/or eight beers for $ 7. Wine and beers were great, but what really made this a clear five star option was the very impressive building, views, and staff. The tangerine beer was totally amazing. Can I have it shipped home to Atlanta?!? What a great addition to the Seneca Lake winery scene. We look forward to getting back here whenever able. I’d highly recommend a visit.

Good beer and food. Wine is ok. We had the Brat plate on Wednesday, and the cheese plate a different day. The views are really nice and it is open later than other places on the west side of the lake. The beers are really good. I really enjoyed the porter and heffe weisen.
