Easily the best gelato in town! They use high-quality ingredients and have seasonal flavors they change regularly to ensure that there always be a new flavor for you to try! My personal recommendation is the stracciatella flavor, which is a vanilla gelato with dark chocolate shavings. Their coffee selection is small but delectable, particularly their hot beverages. This gelato shop and café also features some savory items on its menu. It’s newest addition is the chicken poblano crêpes. This dish is just the right portion to fill you up without leaving you feeling bloated. The creamy poblano is mild and complemented the dish well. I will definitely be going back to try more of their seasonal flavors before they are gone this summer!

Came in because of my roommate. She suggested this place, although when we got here she admitted that she confused the place and thought it was somewhere else. Because we both craved gelato we decided to stay. The staff was very very friendly and it had a great welcoming feel to it. It was a neat experience because a group from Germany was sitting to our right, an Arabic man sat behind us and the cashier was from the Dominican Republic. I looooved the diversity and that in itself was awesome for me. Anyway… I ordered the tuna sandwich with chips and a side salad. I only ate half of the sandwich and it was very tasty. The tuna had macaroni pasta mixed in. For m our desert we shared the Piatto Nove Gusti. It was 9 scoops of gelato(PLENTYFORTWOORTHREE) for about ten dollars. The flavors were rich and creamy and we enjoyed every flavor. We even decided to buy the pint to take home. That is a big thing for us since we aren’t big spenders on random things. Well I recommend this place! :) Came back on June 3rd. Still amazing

The gelato is a bit pricy but extremely worth it. Awesome place for a date to impress someone or just to satisfy a sweet tooth! I’ve yet to sample the food menu but the gelato alone is well worth the trip!

This place is my addiction. Their gelato is great and I’m pretty much here once a week. I have to talk myself out of coming more often. I’ve only tried the gelato. Favorite flavors are salted caramel, ginger, and pecan. My husband loves the chocolate hazelnut and pistachio stracciatella. Love love love… love.

Gufo di Milano has some of the best gelato I have had, and is absolutely, without comparison, the best place for gelato in the El Paso area. The Hazelnut Gelato is so delicious, I can’t even explain it. But I will try. It is creamy and sweet, without being cloying on the tongue. It is the perfect balance between the savory flavor of the actual hazelnut and the sweetness of gelato. And it has the perfect gelato texture. Gufo is the perfect spot to stop by to satisfy your craving for sweets!

I loved this place! Really nice staff. Extremely friendly. Delicious gelato and yogurts! Unique flavors. Nice establishment, definitely will be going back! Only that could make it better is if it were closer to my house!

By far one of my favorite places every time I go back to El Paso. I lived in Germany for a year and fell in love with their Eis Café’s and desperately wished for something similar in the states. I had first tried their smaller location but was only impressed by their gelato, at the Mesa location(across from Independent burger) the atmosphere is amazing and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They won’t rush you out and are all about escaping the world for a moment. Put your phone away, bring a good book or friend, and relax!

Great gelato and coffee! It’s the kind of café that serves your coffee in a cup and saucer rather than a paper cup like Starbucks. What stands out the most though is how attentive and kind the owner and his employees are. It’s almost weird how nice they are, but it’s great! They seem to take a lot of pride and care in their job, which is a lost art in many customer service jobs. I keep going back!

I’ve been a couple times to Gufo di Milano’s and it is exactly what you would expect. Great Gelato. Cozy little shop with a decent selection of Gelatos(passion fruit is sweet deliciousness). Coffee was also good. Only issue I have with the place is you kinda feel rushed when you order. Maybe its just my crappy eyesight but you have to step up to counter to read menu on wall(which is the artistic kind of menu). There are like 5 people crammed back there waiting to take your order. Like a crack spec ops team of gelato coffee makers, they stand ready and waiting for your order. Since they have a big menu to read, I could feel nerves straining behind the counter as the seconds ticked by. Or maybe I’m just being a tad dramatic. Either way, decent little place you could go for a bite to eat after yoga, or something cold on a hot day(of which there are many such days in El Paso), or do a little studying in a corner with a specialty drink. Its a cool place. They offer military discount.

This is a great little place! I recently tried the Persian pistachio gelato and it was excellent. I really like the atmosphere here too. It’s a nice place to meet with a friend or do some work on your laptop. I’m so glad El Paso has a place like this!

I was in the mood for ice cream, and I stumbled upon this neat little place. The women behind the counter were very friendly, offered samples, and made great suggestions based on their personal preferences. I tried the rum raisin, which was tasty with a full bodied rum flavor, but I ultimately ended up going with the double chocolate. It was just the right size and price, and I will definitely be back!

Haven’t had their gelato but I had an awful iced coffee here last year. Literally hot espresso poured into milk. Mostly just tasted like milk. Would try again because of positive reviews I’ve seen.

The waitress was really friendly and had great suggestions for my gelato smoothie. I ordered a smoothie with coconut and blueberry gelato. Although I only had a smoothie, their menu intrigued me and I’ll definitely come back and try more items on their menu.

This is my go-to evening coffee shop on the West Side. They have so many options and the location is very accessible. Gufo di Milano is located in the Montecillo apartments in front of Independent Burger. It’s a comfortable coffee shop that makes you feel very welcomed. They’re not only a coffee shop, they also sell gelato, other cakes and deserts, sandwiches, crepes, beer and wine. Everything I’ve tasted is delicious, and I always see people with their laptops, so I think they have free WI-FI as well. Overall, this is a local coffee shop that caters to everyone and should be supported since everything they have is great.

What is it about their gelato that makes it so amazing? I mean, seriously, how do they make it so delicious?! I’ve had my fair share of ice creams, frozen yogurts, gelato, etc., but this one just tops it all. As soon as we stepped in, the lady at the counter asked if we wanted a few samples. Naturally, I say hell yeah, use a bigger spoon and gimme everything you’ve got! Just kidding, I behave myself out in the public. After a quick glance at all the flavors, I decided to try the White Chocolate Pistachio. UMMM, WAT. FLAVOREXPLOSIONINYOURMOUTH. It is so delicious! I’m usually super indecisive(especially when it comes to food), but I didn’t need to try any other flavors. Give me that one. Super size it. Thanks. You have to try the White Chocolate Pistachio– it’s to die for. Friendly staff, cute & cozy interior, convenient location, what else do you need for a perfect desert place?

The gelato here is fantastic! I always stop here after getting a burger across the lot, it is the perfect dessert. My go-to flavor is usually Pistachio(which is a little more expensive for some reason), but they recently added Sea Salt Caramel gelato, and it just blew my mind! The place offers a relaxed coffee house atmosphere, which I enjoy, unfortunately the couches and booths are hard to come by. Staff is very friendly and often patient with the people who over-sample(please follow the sample limit when there’s a line people!).

The crepes are delicious. You can get them with caramel or Nutella & bananas or strawberries topped with your choice of gelato. They’re drizzled with chocolate sauce and pecans. They also have an extensive coffee & gelato menu. Quaint little place– would definitely return.

I’m seriously jealous of any person that lives in the Venue. I don’t care about the resort living. Or the beautifully furnished apartments. Pish-posh to the awesome pool that I dream of floating in. I’m jealous that all the residents are only seconds away from Gufo di Milano due. It’s a mouthful and I don’t even try to pronounce it because I know I would say it ridiculously wrong, but I can say it is ridiculously delicious! This is going to sound absurd, but prior to my first trip here I had never ever EVER had pistachio ice cream. I love pistachios, but it just never sounded appealing to me. GDMD completely changed my thoughts on pistachio ice cream/gelato. Obviously I’m no expert on pistachio flavored frozen desserts, but pistachio+chocolate is pretty damn good. GDMD has a limited menu with caffeine options, sandwiches, salads, and some other delectable goodies. Price wise, GDMD is decent. I think for the larger size of gelato it was only $ 4.50(but there was only a couple ounces difference between the small and large… although the large you can have two different flavors and only one with the small so it evens out). The space is very European café-esk Very charming without being overdone. 100% this place is my #1 recommendation for the creamiest and freshest gelato!
