Was in the area for business and had tiem to kill. I love the outlets(I usually go to the one in Montclair) but this was right around the corner. They are set up very nice, and have a huge selection that I haven’t seen at the other outlets. Ended up with two huge bags full of bread, muffins, cakes for less than $ 10. Definately worth the price and love how no matter which one you go to the service is always great.

Small place. Prices are similar to what Ralph’s sale prices are like. There are some differences in selection though.

I’ve been back a few times since my last visit and I finally figured out more of their sales! You get a free loaf of bread for every $ 10 you spend. The free loaf is limited to the items behind the counter. If you bring your own bag, they will give you $ 5 worth of stamps on your punch card! A full card earns you one free item! I still think Monday is the best day to visit. Buy 2 loaves of Orowheat($ 2.99) and get one free. Plus, if you buy 4 loaves, you’ll get two free, plus an extra loaf for spending $ 10. Bring your own bag and they stamp an extra $ 5. If you’re a senior, you get 10% off, in addition to the sale!

This place is tiny, probably 1⁄3 of the size of a convenient store. It is pretty much a small room with shelves along all the walls and a counter in the middle with breads. I was expecting something bigger, like a whole warehouse of bread. With that said, they had muesli! That was exciting. They also had other Bob’s Mill mixes and granolas along with a big selection of bread. Not as much sweets as I was hoping, but if you like Entenman donuts, there were a bunch of those. I also saw Blue Diamond nuts for sale, but I was told that those run out quickly. Get a loaf of bread when you spend $ 6 and another one when you spend $ 10. It’s a good deal if you work in the area, but otherwise, I wouldn’t make the drive to this outlet.

I don’t mind that this is a small store. It reminds me of the old hostess stores my dad used to take us to, but a lot smaller. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. She was quick to point out which items were popular, and which ones were not that good. I was misled on Friday about the buy 2 black line items and get a 3rd free. The 3rd item is not an item of your choice, but whatever they pick as the 3rd item. Kind of felt duped. They do have specials every day of the week. I wish they were opened a little bit later than 5:30. I don’t get out of work until then and don’t frequent the store as often as I could. Don’t forget to ask for a frequent buyer card so you can get your freebies.

Great place to get some very cheap day old bread. Some of the product lines that you will find are Takis, Oroweat, Bimbo, Thomas’ English Muffins, and Boboli. The best are the Entenmann’s sweets. Cakes and doughnuts abound. They need to rename the store«The Type 2 Outlet.» You really can’t beat the prices or the friendly service. I bought close to $ 20 worth of stuff which filled 3 bags. The lady behind the counter then said I get to choose 2 more items from behind the counter. Can you say Christmas in May? They have a rewards program. If you fill up your card you get more free stuff. If you want to bring some treats to the office so that your coworkers stop referring to you as «that weird little person who smells like au gratin potatoes» and start calling you Captain Awesome Guy,(which may be even worse because you are a 54 year old woman) then you gotta come by. Maybe you want to gently cross the line from obese to morbidly obese? Then allow this place to be your house of shame. Happy eating and may God help you.

Where I’m from they call these«day old bread stores». Here, they call them«outlets». Same thing. This is a nice location. Kind of isolated from other light commercial businesses. Located just past the intersection of Aviation and El Segundo. It’s never crowded and that means there’s always parking. They have a pretty good daily selection of carb filled goodies to choose from. And now a funny quote: (Not related to a visit here) I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughnut… I don’t need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don’t need to bring ink and paper into this. I can’t imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, ‘Don’t even act like I didn’t get that doughnut, I’ve got the documentation right here… It’s in my file at home. …Under«D.» — Mitch Hedberg

My secret spot for cheap baked goods. Mmmmmm and Desserts. It’s pretty easy to swing by to bring stuff for work. Everything here is pretty cheap. And good. So delicious. Parking is a breeze. They have their own lot. And, there are more parking spaces here than the store will ever need. Not too many people know about this place.

Unilocalers, you *need* to be hitting up the Entenmann’s Bakery Outlet. Here is what my boyfriend and I scored yesterday for $ 18: 3 bags of Pirate’s Booty Bagels 3 boxes of Little Bites cakes And I think a loaf of bread… pretty good deal… or so I thought. Then the chick goes, «Okay, so you can choose 2 items from behind the counter.» Whaaaaat? 2 completely free full-out loaves of bread? «There’s bread, oh but I meant to bring back some buttermilk donuts, you guys can have those too.» Whhhhaaaaatttt?! Free donuts, free bread, $ 2 bags of Pirate’s Booty which are normally at LEAST $ 4 in the store. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for the last 3 years and never stopped by until today, and I’m just thinking dude, how many times did I buy Thomas’s English Muffins for $ 4 when they were chilling in the bakery outlet on the $ 1SHELF! This place is open 7 days a week, so definitely stop by and pick yourself up a $ 3 full size chocolate cake or something. They offered some unexpected products too like Boboli pizza crusts. The staff was super nice, I think they could tell we were like kids in a candy store. They also do a customer loyalty program, and when you fill up your stamp card you get 1 free item – ANYTHING in the entire store.(Except fruit cakes… sorry fruit cake lovers.) Get on this one, Unilocal!!!

When I first started my internship at one of the nearby aerospace engineering companies in this area, not many of my coworkers spoke to me. Being as social as I am I was a little disheartened. So after probably the fifth time passing this place on the way to work, I decided to stop by one day before punching in on what otherwise would have been a very humdrum day. The place is pretty quiet. I got a box of mini chocolate donuts and left them on my desk. Needless to say I was at the center of attention within my department that day!

This is just one of several Entenmann’s bakery stores in the South Bay area of California(El Segundo, Torrance, Hawthorne, Lomita, etc). As a health expert I would not recommend any of the high carb, sugary products that are an Entenmann’s trademark. BUT they produce one of the most tasty and(more importantly) nutritious breads on the market. This is their Winter Wheat variety, a genuine wheat/grain/seed high fiber bread unlike other«wheat» breads that are just white bread with molasses added to give it a brown color. They also offer various kinds of rye breads that are excellent. You can get day-old or cosmetically imperfect loaves at 40−50% off the retail store price. They also offer additional discounts for purchases over $ 10. Winter Wheat freezes well, so you might want to buy an extra loaf. It’s a very popular item, so it’s not always on the shelf. Google«entenmann’s» and your city and state to find other locations nationwide. I am a health researcher and an avid label-reader, and can vouch for the good nutrition in this product. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five is that 80% of their products are fattening with empty calories. For my free health articles on diet, nutrition, and label-reading see .
