My friend lives on the same block as Robert’s deli and asked if I wanted to go get their beef empanadas. So we walked over and one beef empanadas each. Asked to hear it up, went back home. With a little bit of Tabasco sauce…
Delicious! Their beef empanadas is the best! I cannot wait to try the Chicken empanadas next time. The deli looked super clean, they were polite and very friendly. They have a large variety of pasta, freshly cut meat and cold cuts… Must try! Highly recommend!

After reading the reviews, I thought we were all set for our holiday prime rib roast as I thought I had finally found a quality butcher. I ordered my 3 bone rib roast a week and a half before Christmas and left a $ 50 deposit. I went to pick up my meat on Christmas Eve at 10:30 AM, half an hour after they said it would be ready. My roast was not ready and I had to wait 20 minutes for them to butcher– quickly– my roast (I saw him rushing), and this was when I should have asked for my deposit back and walked out.
They did not have the roast removed from the bones as I requested, and gave me a very hard time about getting a receipt stating the actual price per pound. I ended up paying $ 170 for a 6 and half pound roast that was VERY difficult to serve to my guests due to the bones still being attached, and it took waaay longer to cook.
Roger the Butcher said he forgot about my order… how does that happen when one leaves a deposit?
Not going back, as I’ve experienced better; I felt they ripped me off BIG time and were rude about it as well, which was final straw for me. It’s too bad as their deli section seemed lovely, but also pricey. Beware!

This place brings you back to the good old days, it’s like your waking in to an episode of the sopranos, Great Food, great owners, joe and anna are 2 individuals who take pride in there craft, and this love for the craft, means when ever you walk in there your going to be eating great food wether it’s cooked, butchered ripe fruits and veggies that joe hand picks once a week or any of there international specialty food this is a true one stop shop for foodies!
