I always find myself craving their food and so I come here quite often. I enjoy everything that they have. I love their salads, sandwiches, soups, and drinks. I always leave with a big smile on my face because this place never disappoints! AMAZING service and AMAZING food. 10⁄10 recommend! Do NOT go to any other la bou because this one is the BEST in town!!!

I enjoy La Bou food. Really good for lunch! During lunch sometimes there is not enough tables, wish they would add more. Other than that it’s really good food!!!

This is one of my all time favorite places for brunch/lunch!!! If you don’t know about their dill sauce & baguette, then you need to get some get right & go to La Bou to try it! BOMB.COM! Some of my other favorites are: — the chicken sandwich(juicy tender chicken breast) — the pesto & cheese sandwich w/added turkey(my all time favorite go to sandwich) — creamy tomato bisque soup(warm & comforting) — banh mi(YUMMO) — Asian noodle salad(cool & refreshing) You walk-in & order @ the counter, where they make your food in front of you. The bread is really fresh & they’re produce is crisp & bright. I’ve honestly never had a bad meal there! You can make your sandwich, soup or salad a combo for under $ 10(totally worth it). They also offer pastries & an assortment of teas that are really refreshing!

Almost every weekend, I go to this specific La Bou and order the same thing to take home and eat. A turkey sandwich on a croissant and a half a baguette with a large creamy dill dressing. It’s always consistently fresh and delicious. It’s also super affordable. When I’m sick, I’ll get a bread bowl with some creamy tomato bisque. It has the perfect amount of spices to cure me right up. The restaurant itself is always clean and the staff is friendly. This location also offers a nice outdoor patio that is wonderful for dining at on a nice day. I’ve been to other La Bou outlets and this one is by far the best. I just wish they’d get the raspberry for the island smoothies back in… I sure loved and miss those smoothies.

I just Fasted for a blood test and was excited to eat. Soup and a sandwich sounded great. First off, the girl behind the counter was rude, no hello, or can I help you. After I interrupted her conversation she proceed to take my order. I’m guessing she was upset I interrupted her because she was rude, smashed my bread instead of slicing it. Made the skinniest sandwich ever. I know the meat is pre measured after they unravel it, its one piece! One piece of lettuce and two very thinly sliced tomatoes. Then she said she will meet me at the register where I waited, and the after thirty seconds the young girl at the register asked what I ordered and I paid. Then waited. Another customer who walked in after I was ordering, came to pay and her food for two was brought up there at the same time. Then my server came with my bag, I told her I paid she ignored me, I asked if that was my bag she said yes. I told her I paid, thank you. She waited for the cashier to finish then asked if I paid then left my bag on the counter. Didn’t hand it to me, no thank you. Rough customer service. I should have went to beach hut or subway. Can’t wait till dinner, to fix my post fast cravings

I’ve been to this place quite a few times, especially with it being so close to my work. The food, well, it’s La Bou, so it’s always delicious, fresh, having a plethora of choices to pick from. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is last time I was there, they were out of a couple of items that I wanted. The service is great, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious as it is to be expected. I was a little disappointing having come in around lunch time couple of times and them being out of some of my favorite items. However, things happen and we improvise, which is why I always have a plan B in mind. I still stand by this location and definitely recommend for you to go check out some of the things they offer. You won’t be disappointed!!!

DILLDIP. Half baguette and some dill dip and I’m a happy girl. The sandwiches and salads are always good. Service though is a hit or miss. Sometimes when I go in I’ll be helped by some one who is above and beyond friendly. Then other times it’s like me ordering is an inconvenience

I came to have lunch here at around 1230 although the place was extremely busy the line moved fast. I was disappointed on two different things I ordered three sandwiches two BLT and one smoked turkey all three came with one piece of lettuce I mean is there a shortage that I was unaware of next time I’m going to have to ask for more lettuce definitely next she packaged all three soups that were different with the sandwiches in paper bags she failed to label anything so of course that means you have to dig through each bag to make sure each coworker gets the right order. Lastly I hate to say it but there seems to be a language difficulty when the server is making your food it’s really hard to understand what’s being asked.

I have reviewed this place before 3 years ago… I had to go in and change my review, My wife and I stop here every weekend and sometimes during the week, We LOVE the Soup /Salad and half a sandwich meal combo… The BLT’s are Amazing, the roast beef on sourdough Killer and I swear that Chinese Chicken Salad has some addictive ingredient… all the soups are top notch. the service has greatly improved since my last review and so has just about everything else… Its a Great Stop to start the day!

Some locations are better than others. Unfortunately, this is not one of the better. They don’t have moms chicken salad at this location. Thai chicken soup(which I usually love) was oddly sour. Traded it out for a mushroom onion bisque,(which they did no questions) and it also had n odd flavor. So I gave up. Ended up paying $ 11.80 for half a sandwich and a coke.

Very poor attitude from whoever checked us out. Two of us came in to order something quick to go since we had a dog with us, and made sure it was alright to wait on the patio while our food was prepared. Apparently the cashier was disgruntled that she had customers 25 mins to closing. A girl came outside with our bag of food, plopped it on the table and said a curt«here’s your order.» And turned right around and walked back inside. I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize we were disturbing you. Not acceptable customer service. Especially when we were polite and courteous to the fact that they were closing soon. Both of us work in the food service industry, but if we were to ever give service that we just received, we would be reprimanded.

Went here when it was dead. Seriously there were more employees than customers in the building. Took 8 minutes just to even begin my order. Employees were letting other people cut in front of us because they went to the drink order counter instead of the food order counter(which is confusing). Took 15 minute to get my food. Helllooo employees: people have stuff to do. And they don’t take discover. To top it off the soup was hardly warm… I’ll never come back here.

This La Bou is awful! I frequent many La Bou’s in Sacramento regularly due to my job. I’ve given this La Bou in Folsom on Blue Ravine several chances and I’ve been disappointed each time. I was there this morning when they opened and the guy in front of me ordered a blueberry muffin. I was next and ordered a blueberry muffin and they said they were all out. Hugh? What restaurant only has ONE blueberry muffin to sell on a Saturday. Wow! Another time I ordered one scrambled egg it was $ 2 and with the next visit the older gentlemen wanted to charge me $ 6 for a SINGLE scrambled egg. The place is confusing and makes no sense whatsoever how they do business ATALL! The young students working there are friendly and nice but everyone else has horrible customer service. I will NEVER go back to this La Bou again.

I gave this place a try a couple of days ago. The server. Well the person. Who took my order was so nice to me and was very helpful in Explaining the menu(even though they were so busy! It was lunch time) I just wanted to give this place a 5 star review just because of the customer service. It was great! By the way the spicy Thai chicken soup is YUMMY! Definitely coming back!

Good for a quick pastry or snack. I’ve been here a handful of times and they have good Tomato Bisque soup. Also love their Thai iced tea. They recently started serving boba… but I haven’t heard the best reviews of their boba, so I opted not to get it. Overall, a decent place for a very casual lunch. Customer service is okay, prices are Ok as well.

I’ve never been to La Bou so this is my first experience with the chain but it seemed extremely disorganized. I posted a picture but you can see the menu board just has stickers covering the prices with new prices, they have little signs everywhere showing other things they have available. I’m not sure if it’s just this location doing things that the franchise as a whole isn’t doing or if La Bou is just constantly adding new things. The food tasted ok but that’s about the most generous I can be with it. Soup was scooped from one of their soup warmer things and the Panini was unwrapped from plastic and then heated in a microwave before being stuck in the Panini press. Now I don’t imagine that this is uncommon among chains but still, when I’m paying nearly $ 10 at least pretend like it’s freshly made. Ordering was weird as well. They had maybe 4 or 5 people taking orders and«making» sandwiches and things and then they had two cashiers and you were sort of expected to follow your order to the cash register which may or may not be carried there by the person making your food. And it seemed like only about 25% of the time they actually used the second cash register so that slowed things down. Really confusing experience and not a place I ever expect to go to again.

Just had a salad, but it was obvious all the ingredients were straight out of a bag. For $ 10, I expect my chicken to taste fresh and have some good dressings available. Can’t say that it’s worth the trip.
