Subway

When I walked into this subway location I was greeted by khan. He was really friendly and fast with my order. I ordered the foot long Italian herb and cheese with buffalo chicken was really yummy. The service was extremely good here and I will definitely be returning this subway location and this place is spotless, very clean. Would recommend this location to everyone.

Big sign in the window advertising $ 6 for ANY footlong to bait you in, then they’ll switch it up on you when you are about to pay. Apparently, «ANY» really means «only footlongs with meat», so we were charged $ 7.50 for the veggie pattie sandwiches. We ordered two footlongs in total, one with avocado. The menu says that avocado is $ 0.75… the lady then decided to charge us $ 3 for avocado. When we questioned why we were charged so much extra, she just kept saying she gave us 2 scoops. First of all, we never asked for 2 scoops, and regardless, two scoops would then mean that it should be $ 1.50, not $ 3. Finally her manager came over and corrected her, so she gave in.
This place is a total rip off… make sure you check your bill before you’re out the door because they WILL try to nickel and dime you!

I frequent this location and usually have no problem with them. This morning was different.
I received a coupon that said: «buy a breakfast sandwich and ANY drink and get a 2^nd breakfast sandwich free». Fine print didn’t specify any restrictions.
BEFORE anything was made, I told the clerk I was going to use the coupon with the breakfast combo (sandwich + coffee). At checkout, she said the coupon can only be used with a soda purchase. How convoluted is that? Who drinks soda for breakfast?
So I told the clerk that if that’s the case, I only want the breakfast combo, which was 1 sandwich and coffee. Granted, at this point, I could have walked out without buying anything.
AFTER paying, she said, «You want everything free, right?»
What kind of attitude is that? If the coupon terms were different, she should have informed me otherwise.
AVOID THE SHORT FEMALE CLERK NAMED KABITA, SHE

I really wasn’t expecting much when I went in today since I was pretty hungry and just wanted anything to eat. The employees that asked what I wanted in my sandwich were pretty friendly. However, when I got to the cashier, he barely looked my way and talked with his friends (?) that were on the side. When I gave him my money, he just gave me back a receipt with no change. Then when I looked to eat my sandwich, I saw it was burnt. I’ve never had a burnt sandwich at Subways.
It may have just been this one time with the burnt sandwich and it still tasted decent. However, double check your change or see if you got any at all. The three stars will probably be for the two employees I encountered at first and the decent taste of the sandwich. Oh, and the table and seats aren’t that clean, but that’s how it is for most fast food places anyways.

This Subway opened recently in my neighborhood but I just finally stopped in today for lunch. The place was really clean and the staff was actually nice, even with a smile! How refreshing!!!
My general complaint about Subways is that they have upside-​down the building of sandwiches. It should be meat on the bottom, then cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil & vinegar. They do the exact opposite. I don’t get it.

they are right outside the E and F trains at 75^th Ave.
their $ 5 footlongs are a good deal.
their $ 2.50 breakfast menu of egg & meat & cheese on flatbread or an english muffin with coffee is a good deal. this is one of the few subway that let you add lettuce & tomato to your breakfast sandwich without charge.

This location opened in the last month, across the street from my house. I was eager to check out their low-​fat breakfast sandwiches, so I’ve visited in the mornings to indulge– the Black Forest Ham, Egg and Cheese on an English Muffin is delicious and inexpensive.
This location is spotless and the employees here are constantly wiping down counters and cleaning the tables. GO!
