My wife and I visited this establishment before it became the Grand Buffet. We were sad to see the existing restaurant go, and made passing comments that we should check out the new buffet one day. Finally, after nearly a year of passing by we made a chance decision to check it out. We stopped in on a Thursday around 5:00PM, not expecting much. After all, the norm for a Chinese food buffet(at least in our experience) was to keep the food at a minimum until peak times. Thursday at 5:00 has never been a peak time in our experience. Walking through the door I could immediately tell this place was not the norm. The hostess was immediate to great us, and our kids. She even held our little ones hand while we walked to our table. After we ordered our drinks and headed to the buffet, we were shocked. There were more options at this buffet than we had seen at most of the places we frequent. The options were not just half or one quarter full trays either, they were heaping full with workers tending to them constantly. All of the food we ate was hot, fresh, and was in no way typical of our past experiences at any Chinese food buffet. The wait staff was immediate to buss our table, refill our drinks, and tend to anything we needed. My family has found our new favorite Chinese food establishment.

Lunch was reasonably priced at $ 6 for all you can eat. Tge quality of the american food didnt look worth tryinf but they have a sushi bar and 2 dessert bars. The chinese fare was basic but good. There were signs up telling youif you like your food super hot then take a small plate. The staff was fine. I admit I was a little confused when the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. Then i realized she was really asking if we were ready for the check. It takes alot for me to give a place 5 stars. That being said, i am goving a 3 star review. Should you check it out? Sure! Its the cheapest sushi in town and they have some other good stuff too.

A good place for the food, but the staff are rude. You don’t feel comfortable here. I don’t go here anymore because I rather pay a little more for better service.

Save Your Money My beloved husband and I decided to try to this place recently. The parking lot had a few cars, but it was a weeknight night, so I didn’t expect it to be packed. I made the rounds(the food LOOKS tasty and there is a big selection) and got my usual. Lo Mein noodles, a fried biscuit thingy, something that said it was buffalo chicken, sushi, buttered seafood, broccoli chicken and black pepper chicken. My first bite was the noodles and they were only lukewarm. They tasted OK, but if I wanted half heated up leftovers, I would have eaten out of my fridge. Next, the buffalo chicken thing. It was also just warm but had the added characteristic of not tasting like chicken or spicy buffalo. The sushi? The first piece was dry, but tolerable. The second piece? Oh man. It tasted like it was fresh from the Walmart aquarium. I can almost still taste it. The buttered seafood(shrimp with zucchini) didn’t taste like butter or shrimp. It tasted like old vegetable oil. Maybe I should be thankful it wasn’t fishy tasting like the sushi. Strangely, the broccoli in the broccoli chicken was pretty good, but the chicken tasted like the«shrimp» from the buttered seafood even though it looked different. Don’t ask about dessert. There appeared to be a decent selection, but I didn’t taste it at all. The service, on the other hand was great. Our waiter was very attentive. Our bill was $ 28 for 2 adults and 2 sodas on a weeknight. That’s why the $$$. To me, that’s a lot of money for the hood. For a bit more we could have had steak. Other reviewers that said this place was great? Unbelievable. Final verdict: We won’t be going back. It may not be fair to base that on one weeknight night trip, but it was so bad that much better would only bring it up to marginal.

Lunch was only $ 7.99. So I don’t know why they put it as $$$. But the food is great. Service is decent. It’s a new place. This side of Fort Worth needs a classy new place like this. I will definitely be back.
