Ten Thousand Villages is a store in the vein of World Market and Pier One, except they work directly with artisans in other countries and often when you buy an item you know exactly where it came from and sometimes exactly who made it. I have gotten a couple of great gifts from here, and have purchased some cool things too. Join their e-​mail list and they send you coupons and upcoming events. They are on Facebook too. The staff is always very nice and helpful. If you want to give an original gift to someone (most likely a lady) this is a great place to go. They have jewelry, décor, purses, outdoor items, even toys. All of the things I have are excellent quality.
