My go to place never had a bad meal and the service has always been excellent. IMO they have the best wings since the smoke them then fry them. Also the Burgers are killer. You won’t be disappointed!

Go for the Happy Hour! Amazing selection of foods and drinks. I like to try new drinks and this place did not disappoint. The food, for Happy Hour was excellent and plentiful. Our only disappointment was no location were we live. Highly recommend. Plenty of seats and large bar.

I went here for a graduation celebration for a friend. Our server I don’t know if he did not like his job or was having an off day but was horrible. He was slow in delivering drinks, taking orders and when we needed our check he disappeared for 20 minutes. When he finally returned he gave a mean look to my friends mom, I am glad she did not notice. The food however was amazing, I have been here a few times before and had great experiences but this server ruined it for me. I will go back but hope to receive better service. I suggest the lobster dip for an appetizer its to die for!

This place is ok. I probably wont go back because I can getter better food for cheaper. The food was under seasoned and bland. The waitress was pleasant and well trained. The environment was clean and pleasant.

As always, the food was phenomenal. I actually haven’t been here in about 2 years or so but there is something to be said for the cinsistency as the experience was as if i had been here just last week.

This place hits it out of the park. Awesome food. Amazing atmosphere. Super service. My wife and I both had steak and it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Great sides and starters too. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone. It is a bit pricy, but worth it for sure.

Simply put, if you love steak, you owe it to yourself to go here. This is an upscale steak house along the lines of the old Red Rock Canyon grill(which, in Centreville, changed to «Copper Canyon» and went immediately downhill). About the only«con» I can come up with is that the lighting was quite dark in the bar area where we sat. Other than that, I got nothin’. Our waiter(John) was amazing. When we asked him for recommendations, he broke it down for us, «If you’re feeling seafood, I’d recommend X, burger Y, steak Z» etc. Then he described each dish so perfectly we wanted them all. His attentiveness was spot on, and he had the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. This guy should absolutely train anyone who has any sort of customer facing job. Then the food came(we both went with one of John’s recommendations) and it was spot-on as described. Absolutely, undeniably delicious. The steak was as perfect as you can get it. A perfect flame-seared outside, with a perfect medium rare throughout. Spot… Freaking… On. And flavored perfectly so that the spices complemented the meat without hiding it. We also went with desserts which were equally as fantastic(though I’d recommend that you get one to share. The servings are huge. I’m a big guy and by that point could only muscle through 2 of the layers of the 5 layer chocolate cake.) Even their prices were surprisingly competitive. Even after dessert and tip we spent less than we normally would, say, at a sushi joint. Cannot recommend this place any more strongly. It will definitely be a regular place for us.

Met for a mid day lunch to celebrate my sisters birthday. She was running late but I was seated immediately. I arrived around 1:30. The place was crowded but not too packed. My attendant greeted me immediately, took my drink order and was attentive while I waited without being too attentive. Since I mentioned it was my sisters birthday he asked if I wanted to pick out a dessert to be enjoyed later with a candle. I thanked him and said it would be best if she chose because she’s particular. I ordered the wood grilled salmon with spinach instead of potatoes and steamed vegetables. The salmon was prepared perfectly as well as the vegetables. She ordered the pecan crusted trout with spinach. We both ordered a side of the grilled shrimp. We were pleased with the food and service. She chose a fruit bowl for dessert and it came with a candle to celebrate. Our waiter said this was a first. Lol! Thanks Firebird’s for making our birthday celebration special.

This was my second visit to this restaurant. both times I dined alone. I have to say this place is fabulous in every way. The atmosphere is great, the service I had was impeccable both visits as was the food. I’ve had the salmon and spinach salad, the chicken tortilla soup(amazing), the sirloin and mashed potatoes as well as the key lime pie and big daddy chocolate cake. everything was hot and served fast both visits. I look forward to bringing my family and enjoying many more visits in the future! Thank goodness there’s a few fabulous places like this to make up for the humdrum boring chain restaurants that serve the same prepackaged foods.

A few of us couples wanted to go out to dinner on Valentines day weekend and this was the decision before any of the guys could throw out a choice. Called ahead for a table of 7 and there was a 2 hour wait at 5 pm. So we make the call ahead for 7pm. Arrived at 7 and still had to wait an additional 30 – 40 mins. Now I know coming on a Sat before Valentines day was a mistake in its own but 2 and a half hours for food close to a $ 100 not worth it in my opinion. I would have been ok for a no wait at Country Cookin and spending less than $ 20. Finally received a table and my one buddy likes to take charge, as soon as the waiter came to greet us with how are you today, let the waiter know his drink order his food order and how the bill was going to be split haha… We ordered the lobster queso as an app and I ordered the 12 ounce prime rib with fries and a $ 5 side salad with balsamic vinaigrette. I cant remember what everyone else ordered but can say that my daughters mac and cheese was awesome that alone gives a star. The queso was good but as always you end up with way more chips than cheese. Why does it always seem after like 7 chips you have about 20 left and nothing to dip in? O well at least there’s hard bread with melted butter to munch on… Out come the meals and my prime rib looked rare… I was fine with it as I love prime rib. My only issue was it was basically cold. Im not sure if it was sitting there waiting for the other meals to be done but I was hoping for some warmth… still good and lots of fat. the fries were ok. My $ 5 side salad tho was awesome. I had no clue it came with nuts and im no nut fan but they almost seemed to be candied and added a nice crunch and sweetness to the salad. Service was ok. drinks took a moment to get filled and the waiter didn’t acknowledge my other friend(not the one that took charge haha) not sure if he was intimidated by him or because he was the only one at the table not white. Every time I said thank you I received a your welcome and my friend received no answer not even a glance. Everyone at the table noticed. Would I come back? Only if I had to due to friends or wife. Is it worth the price? no. Is it worth the wait? no.

My friends and I chose firebirds as a spot for our dinner. I expected a wait as it was Saturday prior to Valentine’s Day, but I go with the flow. My wife calls ahead at 5PM to ask about seating. She provides her name as there’s a 2hr wait(I expected this) we are told we can be seated at 7PM. We arrive before 7 and are told there’s another hour long wait. I still expected another wait as I frequent restaurants in the area and understand how seating works with larger parties. However, if you’re a higher end Fred-Vegas dining establishment you should’ve invested in a better waiting area. Fast forward— we are seated. I’m a larger person so I sit at the outside of the booth. I am also one of the easy going customers in polite and speak to my waiter as I respect their role in the service Industry. Our waiter arrives to the table and greets us. He seems very professional. I say hello and don’t get acknowledged. Maybe he didn’t hear me.(Whatevs, right?) My pregnant wife excused herself to the restroom prior to his greeting so I look like a 5th wheel. As the waiter goes over today’s recommendations, he addresses everyone at the table(even the toddler) except me. Sidebar: I am «ethnic» and I expect to be treated fairly, not better or worse(the waiter was a black male for male for perspective). This is a vicious cycle when dining out. Waiter prejudges minority customer and assumes they are cheap/poor, minority customer doesn’t tip well due to bad service, waiter receives bad tip and give bad service to next minority customer. As my wife returns(whitest woman in America) she received the same professional courtesy and meal recommendations. I have one friend that is quite impatient when ordering so as soon as the waiter is done speaking to my wife Mr. Impatient gives drink order and let’s waiter know we’ve waited for almost an hour and are ready to order. Drinks come out, appetizers arrive. Time for drink refills. Waiter addresses friend(that has same drink as me) and ask him if he needs a refill. My friend says«thanks buddy» and the waiter responds with«you’re welcome!» He grabs my drink and refills it. I too say«thank you!». I get no response… I laugh a bit and crack a joke to mask my disappointment for my server so far. Entrees arrive and the temperatures for just about every meal was lukewarm. Meals over, this is the part where the waiter addresses me only because he slides the check in my direction. I tip him 20% because I want him to understand that his stereotype that he perceived me to be was incorrect. A younger me would’ve wrote a «life tip» in the tip area, but i decided to let my actions speak. I won’t be returning here as the food options are limited and service wasn’t up to par. The bar looks amazing, though(earned single star).

Had a 6:45pm reservation and walked in at 6pm, just after our movie ended. The hostess was so nice and immediately accommodated our change in reservation time. Our server, Lawrence, was so attentive and helpful w/our menu selections. We had the crab cake appetizer w/mango habanero chutney… spicy but soooooo good. Cakes were chock full of lump crab meat and were perfectly seasoned. My husband had the grilled mahi and I had grilled salmon. The salmon was slightly under seasoned but cooked perfectly. We ordered the crème brûlée cheesecake to go, which I’m eating at home, as I type this… also fantastically delicious. Crispy top brûlée layer, creamy and decadent cheesecake on a buttery, thick layer of graham cracker crust. Well definitely be back soon.

The atmosphere and service at Firebird’s are excellent. Prompt seating and an attentive staff are the general rule here. There are many items on the menu. Today, I ordered the Pecan Crusted Trout with Pineapple Salsa and Tortilla Slaw.(13.40) The presentation was beautiful with the golden brown trout placed prominently on the edge of the slaw, partially covered with the salsa. The first bites of the trout were perfect. It was moist and flavorful. The salsa was sweet and crunchy with beautiful pecans and pineapple. The slaw was a wonderful accompaniment: a tangy vinegar-based dressing with cilantro and tortilla strips. This dish was well planned. Unfortunately, it appears that during the preparation, half of my trout was over cooked. Not drastically, as it was still okay, but enough to cause the texture to be a little mealy. Of course, this may also have been a result of a previously frozen fish. In the end, my perfect dish ended up just okay. The waitress thanked me for the comments and promised to tell the chef. I still like this place quite a bit and will return.

Really great service! My husband called ahead to reserve a table for us and we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. The place is really nice… the décor sets the mood.?The food was really good. I tried the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and string beans! Our waitress was really nice and checked on us constantly. I would definitely go back for another meal.

With limited options for a «nice meal» with cocktails, I decided to give this chain a try. Given it was a Monday night, the restaurant had a decent crowd. After being seated, we were greeted by our waiter for the night who was friendly and personable. I went with the Cucumber gimlet and the 12 oz prime rib dinner with a side of vegetables. My boyfriend opted for the Jack’s Honey Peach tea(my second choice) and the rib eye steak. The cucumber gimlet was refreshing and certainly had enough alcohol in it after a good stirring, however I felt it wasn’t particularly worth $ 10 since it was an good inch short of the top of the martini glass. Jack’s Honey Peach tea was decent(I ended trading with my boyfriend). The prime rib was cooked perfectly, HOWEVER it was lukewarm borderline cold. The waiter and manager was nice enough to come by and offer to fix it, but when the plate came back, the prime rib was overcooked. Personally, if the problem isn’t fixed after the first send back, I don’t bother so I just ended up eating the side of vegetables(which were too salty) and drinking my cocktail. On the other hand, the Ribeye was delicious! Which only makes me wish that my plate was served at the right temperature. Unfortunately, the prime rib wasn’t the only downside, the fire alarm went off halfway through our meal and wasn’t turned off for a good 5 minutes. After the manager noticed I had barely eaten my meal, he offered a dessert on the house which was a nice gesture but I was ready for the check. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back to give them another chance. The dishes had great potential and its not everyday their fire alarm goes off. FYI the happy hour drink specials are only for the bar and lounge area.

An accidental discovery turned into a really good lunch idea. I stumbled upon this place with friends, and seeing it got 4⁄5 stars here, why not? Even if it got 3.5÷5, I still wanted to try it. We were seated rather quickly, and the friendly server took our drink orders. Sorry, coke products and no free refills. But they got them out fast and we were ready to order. I got the beef tenderloin pasta. Fair price and seemed reasonable. Also wanted easy on the sauce. They give you complimentary bread with entrees. The bread is fantastic. Soft and hearty with plenty of flavor. «Yeast-ey». Our main courses arrived quick too. Aside from the pasta there was coconut shrimp and the chicken as well. Everything was excellent as well as included a nice kick and spice to the food. I finished, the other two did not because of the nice portion. The shrimp looked good, I think I might have to get that if I return next time, which I would love to do. For $ 25, I couldn’t complain for great food and service. A happy accident it was.
