Wild Wing Cafe

We have gone here often and its been good enough for us to return until last night. It can be hard to mess up wings and chips but they did. The wings were given droplets of sauce and the house made chips were probably from earlier in the day and then reheated in a microwave. All this could have been fixed if our server or any other server had come by the table but they were all conferencing with the hostess. by the time the manager came around we had no choice but to have eaten some of it as we had to leave soon. All he offered was to take the chips off out bill.

Cool spot. I just moved up here to G’ville, and have been looking for some place close by to have a cold one. Found Found Wild Wings Café just driving. I’ll be coming back. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu…

I have been here several times with my wife. Everytime I come I get wings and I’m never dissapointed. The place is awesome and the wings are even better. Great selection of flavors and staff is great. Also they have beer so you can’t go wrong with beer and wings!

I have eaten at this restaurant many times since it has been open. I am baffled at how one restaurant can hire such terrible servers. It is comical. I’m not even being picky. Last experience, I met someone there as they were passing through town. All we wanted was to share a few appetizers and a couple of drinks. Our menus were disgusting. They had dried food on them, were sticky, and I had to pull the pages apart. I said something to the server and she laughed and agreed. The bar stock menu is far from accurate. The server had no idea what they had. I ended up walking to the bar to ask. I asked for a woodchuck and a shot of makers mark and a glass. Server seemed confused. I pointed out that they have a speciality drink of angry orchard with a shot of fireball. I told her that was what I was doing, but woodchuck and bourbon instead. If the bartender didn’t want to make it, then just bring me the glass. She says «but woodchuck is in a bottle!» She runs off and brings back a woodchuck bottle and a shot and no extra glass. I should have gone to the bar. I ended up spilling half my shot trying to pour it into the bottle. When she dropped of my drinks, she took our order. She never reappeared until 20min after we were done eating. She never took my friend’s drink order. I thought I would never get our check. We met there about 7:45. We didn’t leave until almost 10pm. Luckily, we had a lot to talk about. I like the variety on the menu and the food is good. I will go back for the wings and music, but I need to figure out how to get a server that actually serves. Come on WW management! Figure it out! Most of the other restaurants in the area have decent staff. Why is your staff so slack and craptastic?

Stopped by for lunch and they have an ayce special on the wings for $ 11. You actually order what flavors you want and they bring you 12 to start with fries, celery, and dips. If you reorder they bring them out 6 at a time. It was very busy and I think the kitchen wasn’t putting attention to detail. Some wings were only half covered in sauce. I really like the gold rush, red dragon, and wild west flavors. Overall a great value but just needed to step it up a little on a busy day.

Great service and great winds. Very very friendly. Clean restrooms. A great time with friends and family. Def a favorite dinner spot.

Average bar food… lots of tv’s…slow service. Waited too long without anyone around to seat us, then waited too long to finally have someone stop by for our drink orders, then waited too long to get our drinks then waited too long to get our order… you get the picture.

First time here. Excellent prompt service and food quality was great. I will be back soon.

Went here once. The wings was awesome, but the customer service sucks. Like we was there for a long time and no one helped us. We was getting ready to leave, but I felt bad cause we called our our in like 30 mins before and the food wasn’t still ready when we got there. The bar tenter was paying us no mine, and they was no one else up front. Idk if they was short that day but the bar tenter had an attitude. But I go back for the wings. Just hope next time they more friendly.

Food is always good. Service at the bar is terrible. Obviously poor management. 3 bartenders, relatively small bar and they can’t get it done. Everyone seems to be filling waiters orders. Ignoring 5 to six people at end of bar

Went here for the discounted wing night and had great food, timely and of high quality. Is a good place for a meal any other time as well. Had a problem with a gift card not working but manager Mike B made right with the situation and we appreciate the outcome.

Live music great beer great wings can’t go wrong. Music was great for a Wednesday night. Wasn’t too busy but nice place to come have wings. Had the atomic hot wings outstanding. Had 6 wings and whew was sweating by wing 3. If you are anywhere near a wild wing but especially in Gainesville Ga come here great place.

Great place for wings! Service was great and all the the different flavored of wings were a nice change. Highly recommend this place!

At 11:20 I walked in for lunch to an empty restaurant and was not greeted at the host stand. I ask another gentleman if they were open — thinking he was an employee — and he said «I think so but I don’t work here,» it did get better for there. I found my way back to the main room and was met by a server who took me to a table and laid the menu down and literally just walked away. I was considering leaving and my server came up, greeted me kindly and took my order. I ask if the potato salad had onions in it and he didn’t know or offer to check. I said I wanted the honey bbq on my chicken and he wasn’t sure which one it was so I opened the menu and found it as the gold rush (delicious) and it is described as «honey bbq» so, go figure.
I won’t be back just because I don’t enjoy eating and spending my money where I (or even the money) is not appreciated. Just a simple request.

I am giving 2 stars based on customer service and business model. The food is good, I’ve never had anything that was particularly worth complaining about but the service at this location leaves much to be desired.
They use to offer a wing bar for lunch that was perfect for anybody on a tight schedule or anyone not wanting to spend half the day. They now offer «all you can wing» in place of the wing bar. Seems legit until you realize it takes 30 minutes for the first order of wings. It’s laughable for management to think any working professional on their lunch break would have ample time to take advantage of the «all you can eat» wings. When I have brought this up, they’re solution is to order more when the first round comes out.
Management seems disconnected from the customer base. I’ve never had a manager ask about my food or experience, or even seen a manager. I’ve been to many different wild wing locations around the southeast and this is the most poorly managed by far.
Food is still good though.

This was a good place to grab wings and a beer. The appetizers were pretty good and the wings were above average. good selection of beers! I would go back

Service was a little slow. The food came out fast and everything was good. I will be back.

Large menu, so if wings aren’t your thing, you have plenty of other choices. If wings ARE your thing, there’s about 50 different flavors to choose from– including the ‘braveheart’ wings if you want some of the hottest wings around. Beer is cold, and there are plenty of TV’s. It’s family-​friendly, except for after 9 or 10 at night– that’s when the bands start on the weekends and it winds up being a pick-​up joint.

Love going to WILD WINGS — We like the bar area though the bar service is not as great and friendly as some other places — Do love the handmade potato chip appetizer with cheese and bacon — really yummy — Burgers are worth it ! We like some of the bands too when we can get there on Saturdays — have not had the wings but hear they are great and they do have lots of creative flavors

I came here with my family on a Sunday after being unable to find anything open in Gainesville, Georgia. Overall for a place with Wings in the name I would expect more… Maybe its because we have fallen in love with the wings from Wing Stop… I am not impressed with Wild Wing Café and their wings. While it’s a decent atmosphere on the inside I was not impressed with the wings or sauces and felt like the highlight of the meal was the kids macaroni and cheese. Which, my 4 year old son Lucca insisted «Daddy this is a very good kind of cheese.»
