I like how some of the desserts they serve come in a glass cup. I now use that class cup to serve my drinks in. LOL THECUPSAREREALLYPRETTY and it’s glass too! The food here is really good, especially the desserts. My friend got one of their green tea crepes/flan(don’t remember), but they torched the sugar in front of her. Oh yeah, it was the crème bulee.

Study plus a coffee is always nice here, I can’t say anymore about how nice the server treat me. Oh, the music is calm and you can ask to change if you don’t like it.

Their lavender tea and avocado smoothie is unreal. Just get one of those and you’ll be forever hooked.

The inside of this little bakery is the cutest! I tried this square dark chocolate/coffee tasting cake. It was the most delicious thing ever! The young lady at the register was a doll with a bright attitude and suggested next time I come in I should try the chicken sandwich! Will do! Definitely a must try my trip back.

Friend brought me here to grab the $ 4 café su da. $ 4?! What the heck?! It better be good since its $ 4! *sip* … Wow pretty damn good! While paying my bill, the cashier offered me 50% of baked items and pointed to the heating rack behind the counter. First thoughts in my head«That stuff is left over from last night». I declined. Expensive yummy coffee… ok… cashier trying to pawn off old baked items… fine… but the ONE thing that got my blood boiling is that they were doing live karaōke at 11:30 am on a SUNDAY morning. The young dude working the cashier rushed to the stage after servicing me and was singing a viet song in the middle of the day. Mannnnn I’d expect that on a saturday night, but Sunday morning? Come on man. I do have to admit he did sound good. But theres a time and place for everything, and karaōke on a Sunday morning should be banned. Minus 3 stars for unwelcomed live vietnamese music in a small café on a Sunday morning.

I wish I could give zero stars. Service was bad, slow. Sandwiches took a very long time. They forgot my matcha latte, and coffee. Only 1 personactually working, other two chatting with people out front. Definitely not recommend. The grilled pork sandwich is better at other places for cheaper, nothing unique about it even though they served on ciabatta. Skip on sandwiches.

This place is based on my customer service review. If it were possible, I would make these guys give me the stars. I think this place has potential. The place looks nice and they have a variety of music playing. However, today, Sunday, March 27, 2016, it is Easter Sunday. I do see people walking in and out to purchase small items. No one asked how we were doing while the lady(probably manager) asked a couple near us if everything was okay with the service and food. When we ordered 4 grilled chicken sandwiches, 2 madelines, green tea latte, a Vietnamese ice coffee, and a free mini croissant, we were told by the cashier(young man) that he needed about 20 minutes to bake new baguettes. We weren’t in a rush, but we were definitely getting impatient since it did take longer than 20 minutes. Upon getting our bag of baguettes, we did not get our green tea latte, Vietnamese coffee, and free mini croissant. This place is understaffed and they did not have all of our orders ready. They charged us for some things like the latte and left out the Vietnamese coffee and their free croissant. I guess you have to bug them for the«free» croissant. My girlfriend asked for the receipt to go over the charges. MAKESURE you ask for your receipt! This place needs to improve their customer service skills and really work on getting their orders right. They NEED to ASK their customers if a receipt should be printed. We saw plenty of people walking in and out of the store through the back and who the heck is helping? This is ridiculous. We waited approximately 45 minutes for everything and the price you pay for, this place is not worth my money and time. I would not recommend this place. Thanks.

This place has mixed reviews. I give it 3 stars. I only had the green tea latte and I must say that it was not worth it. I took 2 sips and the cup was almost half gone. They filled it with so much ice. Also, it’s expensive for a cup. I went here with my boyfriend and we ordered 2 green tea lattes and the total came out to $ 8 for the two drinks. For something that tastes like Starbucks’ green tea latte, it’s not worth the price. Oh yea, make sure you tell them if you want it hot or cold. I assumed it would be hot but they made it cold instead :( I was hesitant to order their pastries because they do not make them fresh but instead, they import it from another country. and it was expensive! For a small cake, it costs $ 45. But who knows… maybe it tastes yummy. I don’t know… the thought of it not being fresh turns me off. Overall, the place is cute and cozy. I would come back to try their other drinks and for the ambiance. The workers are also nice and helpful. :)

This is a cute bakery that I look forward to coming back and trying more things. The chicken pâté chaud was fresh and tasty. It was not extremely oily as other bakeries and tend to let it become. They offer banh mi sandwiches and an arrangements of beautiful desserts … Even ice cream! The venue itself is very cozy and is a great place to have snacks, conversations, or even to study since they open a wee bit late. The parking can be a bit tight among the busy hours of the day because this plaza does have a lot of foot traffic flow. Customer service is wonderful. A gentleman named Phong/Jayden is always a pleasure to be helped by! He always suggests me to try something new! Surely will return for moe treats!

Chicken pâté chaud was crispy and flaky on the outside. The chicken itself was a moist and flavorful center. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better pâté chaud in my life. I ordered the grilled pork sandwich that was supposed to come with ciabatta bread, but they have switched that out of their menu. It now comes in a baguette with pickled cucumbers, vinaigrette, and mayo. It was very akin in taste to a Vietnamese banh mi sandiwch. Hands down a great sandwich place for a quick bite and some good drinks.

Since they are still in their opening phase the shelves were rather empty when I stopped in. I went with a mini croissant and another pastry I forgot the name of, both were a bit dry and not very sweet. Prices are descent, I wish they had more of a selection. The store a bit sparse and small, but clean and well kept. I did love the service and what they had, so I will have to be in to update, as I am sure they are worthy of more than 3 stars!

I wish I had taken a closer look at the pictures before I went. My friend and I went here for some dessert and we were extremely underwhelmed. First of all, completely empty, dim store… just the 2 workers behind the counter talking. When we were browsing the selection, they were kind of just. staring quietly. just awkward and uncomfortable. haha We just got what we came for — the green tea flan. Again, I wish I had taken a closer look at the pictures. I just read«green tea flan» and was sold since I love green tea and I love flan! We paid around $ 3 – 4 for the little round mound of flan. It was sprinkled with… crushed ice? Yeah. crushed ice, go take a look at the pictures. I have no idea why they sprinkled crushed ice on it, but that was odd to me. The green tea flavor was really subtle, though the custard-y consistency was good. Don’t expect any caramel flavor by the way. Over all, nothing too exciting. None of the other desserts looked appealing and stood out in comparison with other french bakeries in the area… unfortunately, don’t think I’d be back.

The owner is friendly and the presentation of the desserts is great, but the flavors didn’t impress me. We ordered a couple of different cheesecakes, a caramel walnut cake, a tiramisu, a blueberry tart, some macarons, and a lemon tart. Flavor-wise, everything ranged from average to well below average. The prices were slightly above average as well. Also, almost everything on the savory menu was some sort of pork item. So if you don’t eat pork, your options are very limited. Maybe they are better at making drinks? I might go back to try those.

A new coffee shop opened up the road and I thought I would give it a try. The décor is very classy and simple. They serve a wide variety of sandwiches including ham, pork and sliced pork loaf. The desserts are delicious, but IMO are a bit on the pricy side. I tried the tiramisu($ 6.25) and it was good with soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone. I also tried the citron lemon tart and it was excellent. If you like that tangy lemon flavor, you will love it and enough to share for two. The cappuccino’s and lattes are excellent, but only come with one shot of expresso, so if you like a string coffee, you might want to add an extra shot. I thought it was interesting how tiny the handle hole was on the side of the coffee cup they serve your coffee drinks in, as you can’t even put your finger through the hole. It’s just too small a hole. Overall, a relaxing enjoyable coffee shop.

Been waiting to try this place so finally decided to try it with my sister our dessert dates that we have. it’s kind of hard to see when on Euclid, but it’s in the Diamond Plaza. Parking in the back, small cute little place. They have a display case when you walk straight in and drink menu on the wall. Free mini croissant with check in! What we got: Green Tea Flan($ 3.50): delicious! You should definitely eat it there so they could take it out of the jar and make it pretty. First bite and I was in love. Green tea wasn’t as strong as I would have liked it to be, but it was creamy and soft. Iced Matcha Green Tea Latte($ 3.75): reminds me of the Iced Green Tea Latte from Starbucks. Too much ice here though… Crème Brulee($ 6): so we got the berry crème brûlée. Comes in a little jar and I personally thought it was overpriced for what you get. Berries were on the sour side and it didn’t seem to really be a crème brûlée since I was expecting the caramelized sugar on top. Would probably skip this the next time I come back. Service: No one was there when we came, but the workers/owner? was sitting at one of the tables when we walked in. Got right up and welcomed us when we walked in though. The worker that helped us had a quiet voice so I could barely hear what he was saying to us.

Belage gourmet is a cute little Parisian themed café in a business plaza. What separates this café from other’s is their green tea products. If you’re a fan of matcha green tea, then they have green tea flan(!), green tea pastries, as well as a green tea latte. Their extended hours are very convenient — opening at 6am and closing at 11pm m to f. Service was friendly enough and I really appreciate how they asked how everything was as we were leaving. Their coffee art is too cute!

Overpriced and not accommodating customer service. Besides the main girl who was nice, but didn’t know any of my answers, there were other guys that didn’t do anything but give rude stares working, I remember one named Tee that really made the service here terrible for me. I asked if there was something and the girl didn’t know the answer and he just like said something to her. Why didn’t he just answer my question. Extremely rude. Prices were overpriced here. Duck liver you can buy for $ 3, they were trying to sell for $ 12. Basically trying to use their concept as a café to blatantly rip people off. The green tea flan looked unpredentable and the green tea éclair was small and lacking flavor. I spent $ 6 for both and was beyond underwelmed. Will not be coming back and I warn other Unilocalers not to come here!

Pretty Desserts and More… They serve drinks, bakery items, desserts and they also serve up some really good customer service. Desserts~3.5 I tried a variety of desserts that were very pretty. The taste was average except for a pineapple tort-style bakery item. That was my favorite(4 Stars). While the bakery is following a French approach to their bakery items, they were not familiar in texture or taste to those I am used to. Macarons-3.5/4 Stars Pretty Good Macarons priced reasonably at $ 1.25 or they have a special for a dozen for $ 12. Texture and flavors were good. They are known for their green tea products, all of which were sold out when I went. I absolutely need to try these and feel this review is not complete with their absence. I will update this after I try them. 3.5 Stars and rounding up! Belage, Bolsa. another reason the OC is the best place to live!

I saw the signs for this place about a week or two ago. And I’m like a fat kid who loves cake. I love cake let alone trying a new cake place. My sister and I went here for lunch after seeing that it was newly opened. The décor inside was super cute and of course frenchy since it was a French bakery. I loved the slice of exotica cake which is a white cake with raspberry filling. It was so good I could eat more than one slice. We got the jambon and fromage along with the meatball sandwich. The jambon fromage sandwich was basically ham, mayo, and cheese. It was good but pretty normal. I like the meatball better. It was like a flat type meatball and the mayo is soo good. The mayo you can taste is homemade. So far the meatball sandwich is my favorite. I heard the chicken one was good too. Definitely trying that next time. My sister got lavender honey tea while I got the fresh fruit tea. The teas actually tasted very different. I love it. It’s was very refreshing. The service and atmosphere was great. I’m definitely coming back here.

I came in earlier hoping to be amazed with delight in the form of a savory pastry, but was let down a bit. According to Unilocal, they close at 11. I came in at around 5, and someone had bought all the pork pâté chaud. What was left was chicken, which is healthier(despite the butter) so I decided on that. I had no choice anyway. In comparison to my #1 for pâté chaud, this place pales in comparison. On its own, I found the meat to be flavorful, but a tad salty and not as moist as my tongue had previously encountered. For the price, I guess it was appropriate($ 1.25) but it was also smaller than its competition. The pastry part could have been flakier but i did buy it hours later. As I observed in the pastry case… There wasn’t much to look at. I didn’t see any cream puffs or eclairs. They had some madeleines and a pear bread pudding that I recall but no green tea anything that the previous reviews mentioned. The petit fours were indeed petite. And pricey! At $ 1.25 a pop plus tax, this morsel is 1⁄3 the size of my pinky. My pinky is about 2.85″ I know size doesn’t matter, but if this tiny thing was that price, it better be orgasmic. Service was aite it was just pretty hot in there.
