Greeted us happily right away and suggested we sampled a few items. We went with pulled pork sandwiches(one with sweet BBQ and the other with spicy bbq sauce). We also ordered a full rack of ribs, french fries, cornbread, and baked beans. Everything was outstanding, especially the ribs! Finally Germantown has a great food truck!!! 5 stars for sure.

Good BBQ, great sauces. This truck popped up in front of the farm market a few weeks ago and they say they’ll be here indefinitely. So, I guess if you like BBQ give them a shot and keep them in business. I tried the brisket and the pork on the first visit. Both were a little dry, but very tender. They cook off-site and I was catching them at the end of the day so that may be why. Flavor was very good on both. I could have used a little more smoke flavoring and I missed a bark on the brisket, but it was clean slices that fell apart easily. Good stuff. The pork also had a good flavor and I’m sure it makes a great pulled pork sandwich with slaw added. On my 2nd visit I got an 8 oz. container of pork. He said 6 oz. is for one sandwich. The container was around $ 8.50…didn’t come with any sides. A very small side of slaw was $ 2.50. I got some rolls also which were good quality. A little dense for BBQ, but still a great Brioche looking roll. I tried the ribs also. Full rack was $ 25. Doesn’t come with anything(other than a generous serving of sauces). Ribs were excellent. Very good flavor. The center ribs were all most. 2 – 3 bones in on each end were very dry and tough which makes that $ 25 hard to swallow… maybe if you had a full rack of succulent ribs… What really made it for me was the sauces. They had 5 home made sauces that were a refreshing change on the standard sauce everyone seems to serve. On the brisket I had one that was spicy and one that seemed to have tomato chunks in it(KC and Red Brisket, perhaps), both excellent. On the pork I tried their Missouri Apple instead of the traditional NC and it was great. They also have some unique options on the menu like BBQ Burritos, BBQ Sundaes(beans, mac, slaw with meat), BBQ Bowl(Fries topped with pork, sauce and mac) in case you get bored with the standard sandwich and platter offerings. Prices were a tad high, particularly for the brisket and ribs, but that seems to be the norm these days and meat is getting expensive. Mac and Cheese was good. Cole slaw was different, but a bit bland(must be great on a sandwich) and the fries were the fresh cut variety with skin showing. I’ll definitely give it a try again. It looks like these guys have been doing this a long time and I look forward to coming back when the meat is fresh and juicy! I get the impression I didn’t have it at it’s best.
