My family enjoys coming to El Morfi Grill. We always get Empanadas to start, they are a dissent size and tasty. As an entrée we the Parrillada, which is a mixture of grilled meats, Steak, short ribs, sweetbread, pork sausage, and my fav. blood sausage. To top it off pitcher(s) of Sangria. Perfect combo. The service is good and the staff is friendly. Their prices have gone up a bit but what hasn’t in the world. We will continue to go to El Morfi Grill.

open on NYE so ordered takeout here. Pizza dough tasted kind of stale but big portions with a-ok flavors. Not sure if i’ll go back.

Today, I was feeling chimichurri and empanadas, so we made a few rights, a couple of lefts and here we are. We decided to take the adventurous route this time around. I ordered the Lengua a la Vinagretta(sliced beef tongue) chilled, smooth & creamy, nice citrus, olive-oil & parsley balance(goodness). We also had the Chinchulines(cow intestine) they say tripe but clearly it wasn’t. Before you bugg-out let me explain the particulars. On normal circumstances I wouldn’t opt on to such a thing(intestine) although in this case it was prepared«a la brasa» with the same garlic, parsley, olive oil, citrus components. The texture: a tender crunch and again a creamy finish. I have to say, it got a little addictive for a moment. An honorable mention goes to the Sautéed mushrooms(Hongos al ajo) they were outstandingly good — FORREAL. And of-course the Chorizo plate was cooked to perfection — muy delicioso indeed. I love the authenticity of old world righteousness cooking, simple and complex at the same time. Let me finish my second Sangria and figure out what I’m ordering on my next visit. Salud!

Very good! Me and my boyfriend liked the food! We ordered appetizers(lengua, tripas and chorizo) and of course the homemade stake, they were all delicious. The one that was helping us out was very cool too!

Wow! Best Argentinian food ever! My boyfriend and I ordered steak milanesas and they were amazing! The steak was perfectly cooked and the thinness of the meat was excellent! Come between 4 – 7 to get two free glasses of amazing sangria! Oh and how could I forget the delicious pan y chimichurri

«Supervisor» with an attitude that argues with you when you tell her that the sangria promotion is misleading. When you try to talk to her and let her know that what she’s doing is uncomfortable, she runs away. Probably thinks she’s better than everyone else and acts accordingly. A little education and respect goes a long way. I came out here today to enjoy a lunch with my family and not deal with a princess. Don’t waste your time coming here.

This place used to be a favorite of mine: good food, decent prices, family owned, etc. I have known it for years and patronized it for close to 20 years. Then I showed up this week after a few months of not eating here and OMG they dramatically changed the prices. I used to pay 18 dollars for an entraña steak just a few months ago: it is now 23,99. I left without ordering. Shameful.

Empanadas: spicy beef does have a kick but very tasty, chicken was bland, regular beef & spinach both yummy. Sangria: delicious. Ñoqui: I had it with meat sauce which was delicious on its own… but over empowering on the gnocchi which I’ve had better. Paella Valenciana: Perfectly split with 3, even 4. Needs alot more saffron though. Overall an enjoyable dinner, but for the price I know I can get better hence only 4 stars. The restaurant hasn’t changed in decades, with these prices I’d expect a more interesting interior & façade by now. It’s stuck in time.

It felt a bit stip mallie at first however, once i was seated, the feeling quickly went away. Great service. Attentive wait staff. The steak Napolitano and the empanadas are the best! Chimichurri! WOW! Throw in a little live tango and you have a perfect dining experience.

I’m from Argentina and I went to this place many times with my husband because we liked the food but in the last two times we were here we had a very bad experience. We sat and ordered beverages, a coke and mineral water(in Argentina, this is bottled spring water). The waitress served it and after that we noticed she gave me water with bubbles. I called her and asked if she could change for bottled water without bubbles(she never asked wether I wanted bubbles or not) and she replied with an attitude«and what should we do now with this bottle I just opened?». I thought of staying for dinner anyway, but I looked at her face, got up and left. We went back the next week with a couple of friends for dinner, ignoring the bad experience from the week before as service had been very good before. This time we noticed the food was not as good as it used to be. I don’t know if the chef or cook has changed but I went back home with stomach ache. It’s sad because we had great dinners here before, but I’m not sure I’m coming back now.

I ordered for delivery and the food came an hour after the estimated time. The food was cold and the taste was very mediocre. The mashed potatoes had that«instant potato flakes» taste and texture to it and the tender pork chops weren’t that tender. I was hungry enough from the wait that I finished everything. But I don’t feel satisfied with the meal. Would not order from here again.

Here’s another Eat24 find. I wanted something different from our usual go to places here in Glendale. So I thumbed through the app and found this. Delivery was typical of what you’ll expect ordering at Eat24 so I’m not even going to fault this place for that. When our food came it was hot and presented fairly well in their to go containers. We ordered the lemon chicken and their skirt steak salad. They. Were. Good! I have to say, if not for eat24 this place would’ve never even be on my radar and now we’re planning an «in-resto» visit soon. I’ll update my review until then.

I ordered chicken and beef empanadas and the linguini al hongo. The empanadas were tasty and savory and the dough was soft and it well cooked overall. The pasta was incredible. Really tasty sauce and the clams were delicious and the mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The service was slightly slow but it didn’t deter the overall excellent experience. Overall a superb restaurant with exquisite food.

This place is a great find. The marriage of Argentinian and Italian creates an excellent harmony. It took me awhile to order because there is such a wide array of tempting options. Like other reviewers have mentioned the service is a little slow, but that should not prevent you from trying this fantastic restaurant.

I love their 29th special. House salad, gnocci, glass of wine and flan for $ 12.99. Very good service. Food is delicious. I like their variety of sauces. I recommend their marinara with beef chunks. I also had a sample of their pink sauce, very tasty. Flan is fresh. I liked but I think they add some liquor so it has kind of a bitter flavor. One recommendation(warning). Their alfajor is very well advertised but it’s not fresh. Although the menu says you get two, it’s actually one alfajor cut in half. Not recommended for dessert at all. Everything else is very good.

I wanted try the empanadas out, and I’m glad I did. The spicy beef empanada was great! I loved the flavor and spice. The dough was crispy and delicious. Also had the chicken empanada. This was also crazy good. I have to agree with many others on the service. When I walked in, it took two minutes for someone to greet me and take me to a table. I then waited close to 6 minutes for a server to bring me water and take my order. I like to course when I order. I didn’t want to take that route here because I could tell the service was slow. So I ordered my full meal together. I expected service to be quicker because I only observed 4 tables total in the dining room. Service was not terrible for the rest of the meal but not attentive. I asked for recommendations. I ended up getting the chicken parmesan. It wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the crispy breading of the chicken and melted cheese. I would have liked a little more basil. The noodles were cooked right and had a good coating of sauce. The real hit for me was the empanada. I would go back for take out. If order the empanadas by the tray.

Meh. Mediocre, bland food and inattentive service. My buddy and I found this place on Unilocal.Argentinian food sounded good and this place received good reviews. So, it was worth a shot. We walked in and the place was pretty much dead. We ordered our food, both of us ordered empanadas and milanesas. We were quite pleased when the empanadas came out because they were quite large. It seemed like a great value for only $ 2. But, when you bite into them, you see why they’re $ 2. The filling is pretty limited and it’s mainly air and dough. They were pretty good, but not the greatest. When the milanesas came out, it looked«meh». There wasn’t much sauce, cheese or ham, but it did look large. The meat had really little taste, it wasn’t hot and it just lacked flavor overall. The mashed potatoes were from a box. Our server didn’t check up on us during dinner. We ordered soda(which came in a can) and no one offered us water or anything. It took quite some time to get the check as well. I wouldn’t come back here.
