Glad you had fun, J M. I guess the burning food and the woman smoking while sitting on counter where they make your pizza didn’t bother you at all. And false advertisement for the band instead of the DJ. Oh well. FYI, the lock in the middle bathroom does not work.

Could Not SUCKMORE!!! I took my family there for my son’s birthday! Zoraida, our server messed up drink orders. Then they messed up our pizza order. But then our inept server Zoraida did not bring out the cake with candles I specifically ordered for my son’s birthday!!! The pizza was average and there isn’t enough space here to really capture HOWBADTHESERVICEWAS!!! Willnevergoback# #negativestars #dontgothere #yelpwontallownostars

Best meat pizza I’ve ever had! Just came from there and the vibe was nice and the waitress was attentive. I think the owner even checked on us twice which was nice. Pizza night is Tuesday and Wednesday night where you buy any pizza and get a free Margherita pizza free. Yes its a part of a sports complex but you cant even hear the peiple play basketball. I’ll definitely be back!!!

They’re back!!! The nightmare is over. Please come, bring friends, bring family. This is wonderful. Just passed by with my daughter and I had to have a Margherita brick oven pie. Michelangelo is happy. DaVinci is smiling. And so am I!!!

If this review was based on the food I’d give them 5 stars… But aside from food I feel the grade must also reflect service and convenience. Service? Not so good… I think the owner must have his mom, aunts and sisters working here. I called one time for delivery and got an attitude as if I was bothering her. She even answered the phone with a «Hello?» without saying Saverios pizza can I help you? After placing my order she calls me back 5 min later(I called at 405pm) to explain that the kitchen is closed from 4−5pm so for me to call back. Wtf?! Another time I went and once again I was made to feel like I was interrupting them. And today? I call for delivery and NOONEANSWERSSSSSSS… I’m done with this place… They apparently are open only for fun and not serious. Too bad. The food is good when they’re ever there or available.

We had the tartufata pizza and the lobster ravioli. The lobster raviolli really were so so good, the sauce was amazing and lots of it. Use it to dip ur pizza crust! Pizza was pretty good too. Ill definetly be getting the ravioli again and try other pizzas. I do think that the«fancy plastic» plates are a bit tacky but still its mosty about the food, right? We came for an early dinner and were one of the first ones here so we didn’t have a problem with waiting long but the place filled up quickly and I can see why some people complained of long wait with service. will be coming back !

Purchased the $ 10 for $ 25 groupon and it was worth every penny. Had the mortadella meatballs @ $ 9, very moist and fresh great sauce. Also had the burata cheese pizza and it was excellent. Perfect char on bottom of crust, crispy, perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Minus one star for the noisy sports complex inside of the restaurant.

Don’t let the sports complex vibe fool you. This is a real chef, from Italy, who is obviously trained and serving excellent food. You’d expect reheated frozen pizza prepared by a cook in a sports center but that is NOT what this this is. I’ve been here 3 times and ordered on seamless a few times and the food is excellent. The menu is seasonal and they just changed to their summer menu which I tried tonight and really enjoyed. The pizza is good as are the pasta dishes. Really enjoyed the fungi misti pizza. The service was good twice and unpredictable the other time. But for me it is about the food and if that is good, I can forgive a lot of omissions. Despite the ambiance, this is a good place for a nice night out. You won’t be rushed, and the food really enjoyable. They claim to have Manhattan quality food at Queens prices. I have to agree. Highly recommend.

Mortadella meatballs are the best. Pizza is quite good too. The need to get their liquor license or allow you to BYOB.

We were there as a party of nearly 20. We took up a lot of space, made a lot of demands, were confused as to who ordered what after a while and the staff took it all in stride with humor, and a boatload of patience even though we stayed well past closing time blowing out birthday candles and yapping away in between all the picture taking and more yapping. Their pizzas, well, I would say that I expected better to the equivalent of the places we have been to thus far in search of that perfect pizza so perhaps it’s fair to say that the scale is set rather high. Their pasta dishes were really great. Red lobster raviolis were delicious, their mussels, the black squid ink pasta all delish. It’s a great place for a very casual bunch or large group dinners.

Very nice restaurant and good food. Their menu is limited to appetizers, pizza, pasta and salads with not many entrees. The night I went, there was a gentleman singing live, which was great. The pizza was all right but I’ve had better. Dessert was very nice also. The service was a bit slow but I’ve only been here once. I’d like to return and hopefully come across food that I like better so I can make this a neighborhood favorite. I like the sports complex and I’m hoping to have my kid’s birthday party here.

I went here for the first time on Friday with a friend & my 9 month old son. I asked if they can make fettucine alfredo with shrimp, the waitress said no whatever’s on the menu. Now when I’ve asked for a simple dish as that at other places the waitresses always go to ask the chef first and it’s usually never a problem. I was a little annoyed at that but I just got a personal pie. My son was cranky so I was standing up & the waitress put her arms out to hold him & I didn’t say anything just wouldn’t let him go to her. I don’t even know you, hello! Then she proceeds to flirt with my friend, what if that was my boyfriend or husband, etc. So disrespectful. Just for the service I won’t be returning.

I can only review the food here. Although the place looks nice inside as far as I can tell. I got delivery which was perfect. Pizza and appetizer stayed warm and was delicious. The Mortadella Meatball appetizer was great. The sauce was loaded with delicious herbs and spices and there was 3 decent size meatballs too. It was worth every penny in my opinion for an $ 11 appetizer. They have great sounding salads I would love to try next time. The brick oven pizza is the star of the show here! The Tartufata pizza was amazing with Mozzarella, Truffle Cream, Mix Mast Rum, Ham w /Truffle Oil! Will be ordering again from here in the very near future.

Tried Saverio’s for the first time a few weeks ago. We are usually a Nick’s pizza couple when in FiHi and in the city we die for Numero28 in LES. So we decided to give Saverios a try, and were very pleased with what we found. Started with the baked manicotti, came out still bubbling from the hot oven, needed a little bit more kick added a little crushed red pepper and it was perfect. Then we spilt the Tartufata(mozzarella, Italian ham and truffle cream) it was very good and is actually our favorite pizza at número28 as well. For me anything with truffle cream is amazing, and I’m happy that I don’t have to go all the way into the city to enjoy my favorite brick oven pie! The atmosphere is very casual and comfortable and waitstaff friendly. Can’t wait to try some of their other pies. Oh! What’s up with the batting cages? Probability of return: likely

We came here this weekend for dinner for the first time. Had I known it was part of a sports complex, we never would have eaten here. Trying to enjoy dinner while listening to baseballs hitting a wall is not my idea of a nice meal out. The food was pretty decent, we ordered a pizza and requested olives. Instead of chopping them, they were left whole and rolled off each slice… petty yes, but annoying. Also, the plates they use in this restaurant are«fancy» plastic plates, not even glass ones. I have never seen that before in a restaurant and was a little turned off. How cheap and tacky! The service was ok, but really slow even though it was quiet when we came in, and when we ordered dessert our waitress disappeared and another one had to attend to us. We had to flag her down just to get our check. I would not come back here again. There are other options in the neighborhood with better service and nicer atmosphere.

I would have never gone to this place if I hadn’t seen it here on Unilocal,it’s in an area where I really don’t go and wouldn’t have even passed by. There are a few parking spots right in front, but since they were filled we followed the signs down a hill to a lot in the back. Don’t park here if you have trouble with stairs. You walk into a sports complex. Go up a couple of flights of stairs and you are in more of the sports complex; walk to the end and you come to Saverio’s. It’s a decent size space that is made to look like you are outside with patio tables and umbrellas. Hearing the batting cage right behind you is a little annoying, so if you could choose a table towards the front of the restaurant. The pizza is quite good and close to authentic Napoli style. The Margherita pizza was on the verge of being too charred, but the sauce to crust to cheese ratio was just right. My favorite was the Pugliese; Mozzarella, Sausage, Broccoli di Rape& Red Onions. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Service was average and the ambiance was cute, so go for some decent pizza.

3.5 Stars. Saverio’s offers excellent food that is fresh, clean and tasty. They have a more limited menu which basically means that everything they offer is done really well and that the focus are on the ingredients. It’s a nice spot for a low key dinner or after using some of the sporting areas and the kitchen is open and you can watch the chef working. I recommend: Tartufata(Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Smoke Pancetta & Mix Mushrooms), the arugula salad, mussels and the nutella calzone. The nutella calzone was pretty amazing because the bread is freshly baked, soft and mixed with the nutella is delicious. Prices are ok. For the quality, it was good but a bit high in my book for the location. Inaccessible by train although you can take the bus. Driving is the best option. The host was very nice. Waitresses were not very good but I will let that slide since they seemed to be busy. Actually they appeared to be a bit frustrated. If they are frustrated fine, but don’t let it show when they are serving their customers. Long waits to take our drink orders and to receive our drinks. My party had to try to catch our waitress’ attention several times. Parking is not so good. There is a lot in the back that is hidden. Street parking is a horror, be careful crossing the street.

Its so great to see this place open in the neighborhood. The kids love it… the rock climbing was a big hit! And we all loved the batting range. But I really have to give it to them on the Brick Oven Pizza! The food was really fresh and tasty. The service is fast and attentive and everything is new and clean. A block from The Atlas Park Mall, it sure feels nice to have another night out on the neighborhood! We had a great spinach, walnut salad and a Spinach, white cheese pizza. And not too expensive!
