Texas Roadhouse

I’m a regular at Texas Road house because they have exceptional food. Today, my experience didn’t go so well. I ordered my food to go like I normally do, then I went to the bar for a drink while I wait. The bartender, who was part of management seemed like she was avoiding looking at me but it was busy so I didn’t think anything of it. A guy next to me told me, the normal bartenders are on break and the current server was apart of management and that’s the reason she hasn’t acknowledged my presence. As soon as he said that, the server went to the couple next to me and asked them how they were doing and do they need anything else. meanwhile I’m starring at her with my arms folded trying to get her attention. she still refused to look my way. Finally, the normal bartender came back from and immediately ask if I needed anything. The guy next to me complained that I had to wait 10 minutes without any service. I don’t know what the problem was but it definitely disappointed me and made me wonder if that manager had a problem with me.

Extremely disappointed with the host today!!! I can’t say more than I had to leave and go somewhere else!

We normally have no problems at this place and enjoy going. Tonight however was a tremendous disappointment. Upon being seated we noticed that both the silverware and plates for bread were dirty and notified the waiter immediately. Once we placed our order for two roadkills, one medium well and the other well done we ate our salads while waiting for the entrée. Once the meals arrived both were rare and were promptly sent back. A manager brought one plate out later that she said was just placed back on the grill and heated up. Mind you, the way we cut the meat prior to it being sent back showed this was not the same piece sent back. We questioned why she only brought back one meal when two were sent back? She advised that «she wasn’t aware that two plates were sent back.» we then requested to have both meals prepared again fresh. We waited forever and then decided to leave in which the manager came out to meet us and advised that she was sorry for the delay but that the meals were ready. We told her our story as noted and advised that we no longer wanted to waste anymore time for our food which had taken over 20 minutes to get again. We advised that the whole experience had left a bad taste in our mouths. She suggested that we take the meals and that she would comp the meal. We went ahead and took the meal because we had been in the restaurant for over an hour and had only eaten the salad. Suffice it to say that once we arrived at the house later and began to eat the food. Once again, the roadkill which was supposed to be medium well was rare and the one that was to be well done was cold and hard as if it were a left over one, not fresh. We called and explained yet again our disgust and advised that we would promptly issue a complaint and a review due to the service or lack of service. Here we are at 11:00 at night and the only thing we’ve eaten were the salads and a couple of rolls a piece. What a night???

This please never lets me down. Anytime I need a great tasting steak without breaking the bank, this is the place. Service is great food is great. Been here and other Texas road house and have not been disappointed and who can say no to those free bread and butter.

They should thank one of the waiters for converting this review from a 1-​star to a 5-​star. We arrived here just about a minute before they were about to close. The lady at the front greeted us and asked us to wait for a table. Seconds later, she talked to someone behind her and told us that they have closed and she was sorry! Needless to say, we were fuming at this curious incident. But a waiter hanging around there came up and talked to the lady there, and told us that he did not want us to leave and he would serve us. The steaks were great, and considering the price, I must say that they were excellent. I do not think you would find steaks of this quality at this price elsewhere. The waiter was a bonus, and made our experience wonderful.

I absolutely love Texas Roadhouse but this location has let me down. I went about 2months ago and I don’t even want to comment on how bad that experience was. We went again tonight and did the call ahead seating. The time I was quoted and the time we actually waited was ridiculous but they were busy. Our server was okay. No crayons for the kids but kids menus with plenty of activities they couldn’t do. I ordered steak bites med. well for my kids and and med. well steak for my self. After waiting an additional 45 mins to actually get the food after we ordered the steak bites came out charred and my steak was rare. I was told they could take it back and try again but waiting for so long i had no desire. My kids steaks were so charred my 4yr said she never ever wanted to come back because the food hurt her mouth. The manager took care of our bill but we left hungry and very unsatisfied. Now after being out to eat we’re eating Mcdonalds

Finally time to escape my busy week and enjoy a meal with family… while sitting and talking, we had to hold our elbows above the table because not one of the 50 people walking by would prebus our table… won’t be back… your food is way too average for shit service…

Our waiter Mak provided outstanding service. She was the best waitress we have had in years. Although I’m not a huge fan of Texas Roadhouse everything was good. Everyone in our party was pleased.

This place was my first meal in the USA.
It was a perfect way to start. The steak was asked to be done as medium well done and it tasted very delicious.
It also came with two complimentary sides — I ordered Ceasar salad and sweet potato — However the cinnamon in sweet potato was bit over powering, so if you dont like Cinnamon, just ask them to not sprinkle over your sweet potato. Otherwise it was very good !
The waitress was very attentive and bubbly.
I would definitely come back, if I feel like I need some steak!

Everything from the rolls, to the fried pickles, to the steak, is so delicious!!! Definitely 5 stars!!!

I hate to give 2 stars because I LOVE this place the two prior times I was there but I was very disappointed that they sat us the way they did. I was told when I called to get there a hour and half to get my name on the list to make sure we got a table for 25 plus for a wheelchair @ 7pm on a Friday which I completely understand.
Well at 7 we our party is sat at 5 booths which was not what I planned. The main reson is because we had two children in highchairs and to top it off me in a electric wheelchair. We took up a big chunk of the walking room. Mind you we told them we need a table for a wheelchair. I had waitress and waiters splitting through me and my niece on her high chair with big trays of food. Not to mention guest trying to go to the restroom. Plus how was I supposed to eat if my wheelchair if it doesn’t roll into a booth? Sideways?
The host told us we were fine there but to me that was a red flag for FIRE HAZARD. I was once a waiter when I could walk and we could never sit guest this way. Well the host said if we could wait 20 minutes she we get me a table to roll into and she did. It just put a damper on my nieces 17^th Birthday for me at least since I really couldn’t communicate with all the family and friends.
But what upset me most was they sat a big group in front of me with tables and some booths in the corner of the restaurant like they should of with us especially because I am in a wheelchair.
Will I go back? More than likely because the food is good but also since they over charged me on my bill with a extra plate of food and the Manger just told me since I didn’t make them aware of it that night they could not credit my card. Plus he is only able to mail me a voucher of around 13 dollars which was the price I was overcharged. I never heard of us this at any other restaurants I been to. But all I can do is say okay, thanks, and write this review. Hopefully they will change how they sit big parties there with individuals in wheelchairs and kids in highchairs in the near future.

Always freaking busy but last couple times we got our dinner to go and enjoy it at home. Food is always delish and service is quick and friendly.
This location used to get hit with BMV’s a lot so don’t leave anything valuable visible in your car or period!

I hate to do it because I have loved this place for years, but their steak cooker is horrible on Thursday afternoon. I don’t like sending food back because I feel it makes the server feel bad about the service they’re providing. On Thursday, I ordered a small 6oz sirloin cooked medium and it came out very well. My server arsen was awesome even though the food wasn’t. I’ll visit this restaurant again and partake in their legendary rolls and peanuts but maybe I’ll skip the steaks from this joint..

For a family friendly we don’t have to dress up steak house… This is perfect! Excellent Value and the Dallas Filet cuts like butter! Seriously I have paid double for a filet that was half as good. Forgot what a great casual steakhouse was like. Texas Roadhouse was perfect!

WHAT? I CAN’T HERE YOU? WHAT? LOUD… IT’S LOUD… VERY VERY LOUD in this place. Seriously this isn’t a place to take anyone who has auditory issues or hearing issues or even anxiety! The service was fine, the food was ok… but I won’t go to any of these anymore. I don’t enjoy having a meal with friends and having to yell across the table to have a conversation! Whoever thought the barn design was a good idea… it’s not.

Thanks for call ahead seating, we avoided the 60 – 75 minute wait by calling and getting on the list. We were given a 40 – 45 minute window and made it there in 37 minutes, then waited 5 minutes to be seated. Myself, my hubby, and youngest took dad to lunch for fathers day. Lunch was terrific, right at $ 65 was spent after tip. We had the best server ever, Maddisson. (Ask for her) She keep our drinks full and was prompt with food service.

Our dinner here was great! Our waitress was very helpful and most friendly. Her name was Mikaela.
I had the 12 oz ribeye with the two sides, cup of chili, and loaded baked potato. The meat was cooked order and the chili was awesome. It was so delicious, I was shocked to say the least.
A must to go to place newly on my list for Irving, Texas!

Never a disappointment!
Walked in with my friend and we were told 5 – 15 min wait. It was around 10 minutes and we were sat down in a spacious booth. On Wednesdays, they have a special called «Wild West Wednesdays!» An 8 oz steak w two sides, only $ 9.99! We both ordered a Medium and we were received just that! Mine was a little more red than I wanted, but it tasted fantastic. Sides were out immediately after ordering and service was spot on. Our waitress checked up on us frequently but not excessively! She even gave us some dinner rolls to-​go!
Atmosphere is very rowdy! Don’t be alarmed by the peanuts, they’re free to munch on and if it’s your birthday, they even sing for you! Everything here is very pleasant and reasonably priced. If you’re craving some steak and it happens to be Wednesday, grab some friends and head on over! Roadhouse is an awesome place to get dinner and catch up with some buddies.

Better food and service than I expected! It was a little more crowded than I was expecting. Plenty people like eating here too!
The environment is real good for quick home cooking tasting food (if that’s a word), and friendly chats.

I was pretty skeptical about this place when my boyfriend suggested for us to come here for lunch, since it was such casual dining for a steak restaurant. When we first walked in, there was a display of fresh meats on the left. Nearly all the cuts were perfectly marbled and had a fresh look and texture. I felt more at ease after that.
When seated, the host brings a basket of freshly cooked bread and cinnamon butter. All menus are located on the table, along with a big bucket of salted peanuts. My boyfriend and I both ordered the Prime Rib, which came out perfectly. I ordered rare, and was very pleased with the cut and the way it was cooked. Very seared edge with a moist, cool center. Portion sizes were very generous. My boyfriend ordered the 12oz and received about a 15−16oz.
The sides were decent; I had the loaded mashed potatoes and the mixed vegetables. I do not recommend the vegetables because they 1) only come with baby carrots and broccoli and 2) it was extremely bland and overcooked. I had to overseason with salt and pepper to get any kind of flavor out of them. However, my boyfriend raved heavily on the steak fries that he ordered.
Service here was very friendly and everyone was prompt when taking orders and bringing out food. We were regularly checked on and made sure that everything tasted fine. I did notice that the restaurant was packed when we came to eat lunch at 1:30. This further ensured me that the meats were constantly being used and we were receiving steak that was freshly cut by the butchers. On top of this, the prices were particularly cheap for an awesome piece of steak. Most of the items were under $ 20 and come with 2 sides of your choice. I was not disappointed during our visit here. Texas Roadhouse is definitely a place to come try out!
