I joined several other people at the bar for«happy hour» apps only to learn that their HH ended at 5pm. Our bartender was very polite and friendly and obviously preoccupied. I ordered Buffalo wings super crispy after our bartender expounded on how awesome their wings were. The order came out well after other orders that had been placed after mine, but if you want crispy wings it takes extra time and is well worth the wait. When the order came out it was luke warm at best and the wings were soft and rubbery. I refused the order, paid for my beverage and went in search of some place that knew how to cook Buffalo wings.

We did not have reservations so, our wait for outdoor seating took about 20 minutes. Get a reservation! Manager appeared to know everyone with a reservation so, repeat customers is always a good sign. The atmosphere and views from inside and outside are wonderful. I ordered the filet minion and my wife the salmon, both were very good. They seemed short staffed but, we were not ignored nor did we have to wait for service. All together a very nice dining experience.

Arrived on time and were promptly seated outside for our 5:30 reservation. That’s when the fun ended. Waitress took our drink orders after waiting 10 minutes and 20 minutes later had to go inside restaurant looking for her and our drinks. She apologized up and down saying she got slammed inside restaurant and will bring drinks right out. Drinks came out and low and behold were not all of them were correct. she then took our appetizer order and again with waiting. Apps came out onion rings were ordinary, but the stuffed mushrooms were wonderful. Then came the entrees. All of them were ice cold(6). What a nightmare! Waitress took them back and said she would have them re-fired. Came back three minutes later with same entrees and this time they were Luke warm. Service here was a total nightmare. Food was good to okay. The service was so bad waitress took half off on food bill. Would have much rather have had proper service. Alas this seems to be the norm of fine dinning in Green Valley

We visited for Valentines and will not likely return. I ordered the New York steak although it was tender it was almost blue rare rather than medium rare as ordered. The baked potato was so bad it must have been cooked the day before then warmed. A friend ordered the sirloin and it was so over done to inedible and the replacement was rare. The ladies dinner was adequate And the service was reasonable.

The Coyote Grill is the restaurant at San Ignacio Golf Club. Open to the pubic and with views across the valley, it is a nice place to stop for decent food and great service. It looks like your typical golf club restaurant — a pro shop, a bar, a large patio and a dining room. The entire restaurant has floor to ceiling window with views of the valley. There is also a tv in the bar with the game of the day on. The buffet at our party had a mix of items — tortilla chips with salsa and guac, buffalo wings, mussels, crudité, seared ahi, poached salmon, caprese toast, stuffed mushrooms(with blue cheese and bacon), cut fruit and cookies. The stuffed mushrooms were the best of the bunch, IMO. I found the mussels to be a little dull and the salmon to be overcooked. The crudité and fruit were fresh and delicious. The servers here are THEBEST. They are running food all of the time, keeping beverages full and always have a smile. We enjoyed our time here. It would be a good place for lunch if you are in the area.

The Coyote Grill has been around for as long as the golf resort. Probably the 50s or 60s. The food has generally been good, at least the few times I’ve been there. And I understand they are currently under new management My coconut shrimp wee good. They look overcooked(too brown), but they weren’t(old oil?). The tasted good. My friends has burgers that were great, and some had the rib eye special which they all seemed to enjoy. So food generally ***star The restaurant itself is spacious, you don’t feel crowded together. Glass walls give great mountain views. But the interior has no proper lighting for any kind of intimate atmosphere. It’s just a big room with recessed lighting that just emphasizes the age of the place. *star on environment. My first choice on where to go? Only for a crowd. Would I go again? Absolutely. We were in this huge restaurant on a Thursday night… There were only three or four tables in service. We had the whole back of the restaurant to ourselves, which was great because we were more interested in visiting then eating In summary Give it a try. Food is not bad and on a clear sunny afternoon(as most Arizona days) the view is fantastic.

I have drove by this place a million times and I finally decided to stop in on Friday for a few cold ones. We went inside and could not find any seats in the bar area therfore we we not eligible for happy hour appetizers as told by our server. It would have been a nice gesture on management’s part to honor those prices because it wasn’t our fault no seats were available. We had prompt service for our drinks and specials were mentioned, fish and chips for $ 13 and all you can consume. …I’ll take it and so will my fishing partner. Haha The order consisted of two fillets of cod in a delicate beer batter and the fish was flakey and favorable, a order of crispy fries and coleslaw paird well. I ate a net full of cod fish and could have ate more because it was delicious. My dining partner could hardly finish her huge portion and she also enjoyed her meal. I plan on returning to this restaurant because my first visit impressed me and I know the rest of the menu choices will be equally good. The menu has a variety of mouth watering selections and I hope that they are just as good as the fish and chips. I will return soon because my first experience wowed me, and it takes a lot for me to get wowed Howing good food and atmosphere… keep it up ! The drinks were perfect too… not water down like so many other places.

The food was ok, and it wasn’t terribly over priced. Overall it was worth trying, but I won’t go out of my way to return.

If you like over priced beer($ 18 a pitcher) and a stake for $ 26, then this is your place. One would think that this place would really try to attract locals to their establishment since they have had trouble in the past staying in business. The entire golf course and grill went out of business and is just now on the rebound. Wake up management. You would bring in many more diners if you lowered your prices to a more reasonable level. Let’s face it, you can get the same pitcher of beer elsewhere in Green Valley for half the price. What would make us return to your over priced menu? Really. .. wake up before you go under again!

I have lived in Green Valley for 1.5 years and I have been so bummed that the local Mexican food is «Minnesota Mexican» as one gal called it — very, very bland. The local Mex places serve tomato sauce with chips … serious, it is rare to find onions, cilantro and dare not have jalapenos … Bummer. Coyote Grill makes an excellent salsa and it has the right touch of heat. Add to that their fresh guac with heated chips — yummmm. I love their happy hour — half price. So a generous portion of food for half price! I love sitting on the deck and just soaking in the tremendous view. The Thai Sweet Pepper chicken wings are a great treat. The Onion Soup was among the best I have ever had — a wonderful swimming blend of onions bread and hearty broth covered in melted cheese. Yum yum and Yummy.

This restaurant hasn’t been opened very long — but I will say it was good. We had a table of 10 and our waitress was very pleasant. She didn’t seem to mind that we each needed a separate check. The food was very good, had lots of flavor and was very ample. Some of the ladies even took part of their meal home. The view is fantastic too. Really suggest that you give this place a try. The menu isn’t huge, but it does have something for everyone.
