Amazing waiter Gordon was right on point with his excellent service!!! Food was delicious and not a long wait for anything. This is our place for sure!!!

My Boo took me to this place on a Friday night. 15 minute wait time. (not bad). I had a pretty good experience. I was skeptical at first because i never ever heard of this place before. This restaurant is family oriented. I wouldn’t come here for a date night. It was pretty loud. I heard our neighbors whole entire conversation, kind of annoying. The food was decent. I’m trying to eat more green vegetables in 2016 instead of mac and cheese and baked potato which is my favorite. Had a steak and broccoli. Everything was cooked to perfection. The server was on point. She kept our table clean at all times. Always smiled, always said thank you. Always checked on us. My Boo enjoyed his meal as well. He had Steak and mashed potato. I will visit this place again.

I like that this restaurant with good quality food is conveniently located close to my office. It makes going to lunch fun and enjoyable. You need to go early to beat the crowd, or go late, or go with patients.
They have good appetizers, brau chips are my favorite. You can get green olives on your salad, but you have to ask for them. I have liked and enjoyed everything that I have ordered here. If you ask me to recommend something, I would recommend it all, however, the Dr Pepper chicken is not as good as the other items.
My favorite server is Billy, he works a lot of afternoon shifts so at lunch, he is usually our server. I like that the managers come by and check on us regularly.
They have desserts, cobbler and banana pudding, but I am usually too full to order them.

My family and I loved coming here and we made monthly visits. Over the summer we stopped in for dinner and while parking my vehicle, flashing from the rough of the building blew off and struck my vehical causing thousands of dollars in damage. The Hoffbra GM was super friendly and gave me all the information to contact their HR deparment. While friendly, HR made no effort to help fix my vehical. They turned me over to their insurance company and I ultimately had to run the damages under my comprehensive insurance and pay the deductible out of my pocket. While this is a common practice with insurance companies, it is terrible customer experience. Not one «wish we could do more» or «sorry for the inconvenience». It is really to bad that that things have come to this. No more Hoffbra for us…

First off staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is neat and good for family. Almost has the rustic hole in the wall feel but it’s in a generic strip center.
Looks like they have a full bar and their menu is a good size with many options.
I ordered the smoked sirloin which sounds amazing. Well it was cooked properly with quite a bit of seasoning on the steak, but had zero flavor. The meat was very tough, which if you’ve had or made smoked sirloin before you know this is quite nearly impossible to do. My wife got the same and hers was just as bad. She decided to send hers back when waitress asked if she would like something else. And I did as well. We both hate doing this but for nearly $ 20 a steak they should be pretty good. So she got sirloin and I got a «rib eye». Again normally a tender well marbled cut of meat, mine was one step above the leather on soles of my boots. Her sirloin was same. The meat is seasoned but again no flavor. These steaks I would of sent back also but wasn’t going to do that it the waitress twice. The candied bacon starter is pretty good wish the bacon came out warm but it doesn’t. The Mac and cheese is pretty good as well as the baked potato. Black eyed peas were meh. So sides weren’t bad. And if steaks were as good we would probably go back but for the amount spent saltgrass or Texas Roadhouse is a lot better and for a little more can get a real good steak at kirbys or bobs.

Service was good but the food was subpar. At least not what I was expecting after having recently visiting the original Fort Worth location. My wife’s ribeye was on the tough side with little to no marbeling, so it did not have that melt in your mouth quality you expect from a good ribeye. I’ve had sirloin steaks from Denny’s that tasted better than this. My chicken fried steak was bland and pale looking. I just about lost my appetite after seeing it when it arrived at the table. I thought to myself maybe it will taste better than it looks but nope, it didn’t. The only one that was happy was my daughter with her chicken tenders. Sad to say it was a disappointing evening. I think I will just visit their other better tasting location.

As kind of a vet in this industry and a Assistant GM of the bar I work at, it was nice to come in with my kiddo, order to go cause I’m too tired to cook, and Billy behind the bar was beyond amazing! He was quick, knew the answers & was exactly what I needed to see– A SMILE! After the day I have had! Didn’t think hoffbrau was going to e around anymore, but I’m sure staff like billy are what keep it thriving! Keep up the good work! And TGANK YOU!

Food was decent, waitress service was excellent.
Do not recommend this venue for a group larger than 6. We had family birthday party (group of 15) and the restaurant manager was very clearly overwhelmed.

Came down to Texas from New York for the weekend and wanted a Texas feel kinda place. So glad I picked here. The food was awesome, the drinks just as good and our waiter Brent was just as phenomenal. If your in the area and want steak you have to come here.

If you want a Texas steak ya gotta stop in here. The food was amazing.

Wonderful steak house that is a locally based one! «Steakhouse» is too limiting, though. There isn’t anything on the menu that is bad, and it has a wide variety — including chicken, pork, fish, salad, etc. There is always service with a smile, and it is just a cozy favorite. Trust me – try it… You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I came here a couple of weeks ago, and everything was Awesome! My wife, who is a steak fanatic, raved over how great our «Texas Two Step» dinner was. And I agree, even the bread & baked potato were great. The crowd & atmosphere was also very pleasant, not too loud… cause you know, you want to be able to chat. The meal price was excellent. Very friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back again! (Adding menu pics)

One of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten! Excellent sides, great margaritas, and real good environment… would totally recommend this place to anyone!

I used to eat here several times a month. I miss the old bread. I like the salad and my meal was not bad. Brent did really well for a cowboys fan. I do like the jalapeño juice thingy. Got a thumbs up from everyone so good job.

Steak and casual with a mix of other meat items. I like their chops, Dr Pepper chicken, and the juicy burgers. They don’t have onion but they have onion strings. We have never had a bad meal. If you have not noticed yet, it is cowboy, with country girls serving you up. But don’t worry about bring mom because these are cowgirls that remembered to get dressed before they came to work. T shirts and jeans. The Brah chips as an appetizer — it is large — needs 3 or more to finish it off.

I’ve visited Hoffbrau several times. Im always satisfied. Food is yummy. The restaurant is clean and the service is great. I’ve made this a regular lunch date location with the hubby.

The food is pretty good. They give you plenty to eat. The service is kinda slow even on weeknights. My family eats there a lot but I must admit it’s not my favorite place to eat. They don’t offer much on their menu either. I will probably eat here again, but this time I’ll order something different.

Had the jalapeño glazed pork chops and boy where they good.
The broccoli and cheese soup is also a great app to start off with.

We have been to this restaurant Many times. It is our back up option on friday and Saturday nights when our favorites are too busy. However, if they continue on the current path, McD’s might be the preferable options… Think I can get a McSteak?
Our hostess was okay, but clearly distracted with other things during the night.
After our meal was brought to the table, it took some time (5−7min) before she checked on us. As I tried to flag down another waiter, to the point of leaning out of my booth and waving my arm, I was still ignored. That piece of lint in the next room he went to sweep-​vac must’ve been super important!
We each ordered the GR8 Center-​Cut filet, and salad. We also ordered a baked sweet potato and squash puppies. As previously Unilocaled, the salad was small and bland, the bread was hot, sweet and extremely yeasty (which a lot of people truly love).
The worst part of the meal was the steak. I felt like it was one of the Wal-​Mart «we switched your steak» commercials. No one was fooled. Its only the 2^nd time I have ever tasted a «gritty» steak. the other time was also Hoffbrau’s. I’m not sure how you can get a center of a steak in multiple colors (the curiosity is worth seeing… Not tasting).
I will admit my true disappointment was the squash puppies. I imagines a summer fresh squash-​casserole type starch, molded and deep fried into a hot delicious veggie tator tot/​hush puppy… And I imagined biting into delicious squashy goodness! What I received was an overlooked ball of dough, without a hint of squash taste, flavor or color.
The baked sweet potato with cinnamon and enough butter to make Paula Dean proud was the only redeemable quality… And it was great!

We were in f worth so decided I needed a steakhouse experience. This place didn’t disappoint! Even though I was the only one who got a steak. Everyone else had the dr pepper chicken dishes.
First off the server billy was awesome! His recommendations were on point and he added everything special I wanted with not a flinch of causing difficulty.
I especially loved the black eyed peas! They were amazing and I would venture to say they were the best I have ever had. The baked potato was rolled in sea salt which i always appreciate!
Ask for billy, he took great care of us during a busy time of day without having to ask twice for anything!
