SOBUMMED! They closed this location! Booooo!!! They are directing Tanasbourne customers over to their Cedar Hills location now. I had wondered why they were giving out those Cedar Hills meal cards. NOW I KNOW! The Cedar Hills location isn’t just farther by distance, there’s so much more traffic in getting there too. Ugh. Well, I guess this is a good thing. I won’t be eating there as much considering I ate there WAY too much when it was just down the street.

**Stopped in on 10⁄27 and they packed up. Very sad day** \Wholly yum-feast! Stopped in because… well, pretty hungry for lunch. I’m a pescatarian(I know, it sounds stupid… but stopped eating all meat when I was a young grub and still unable to get myself to eat furry meat)…anywho, I normally don’t like vegan food, it makes me poot and super hungry in 20 min. Had the BBQ something or another sans bun and got it on a kale salad. It was spicy but super tasty. Upgraded my side for street corn.(OMG…STREETCORN!!!) My only complaint was that food needs salt, which I was too hungry and ended up stuffing my face instead of getting a salt shaker. Will go back again, hopefully really soon. Seriously, the staff is friendly and quick to get your food out… and the food is so good. If it was closer, I’d probably go back for dinner.

There’a a Veggie Grill less than 1.5 miles from work and I dream about them almost everyday. They’re great for lunch, especially when you can order online from your computer OR phone! The people working are super nice and you have access to take-out boxes, sauce containers without having to wait and ask for one. The fake chicken sandwiches are great. The fake meat is really really close in texture to the real thing. The breads on the sandwiches are exactly how I like my carbs — soft, slightly dense and chewy. I’ve had a couple of the chicken sandwiches, the Harvest Bowl, beans and quinoa(starter) and sweet potato fries. I loved all of it. The portions are reasonable and I’m satisfied after eating almost all of the food(so not much in the way of leftovers). They don’t have soda but their teas have tons of sugar so becareful! Some of their stuff is more deceptively healthy than it actually is. Just check out the nutrition facts at the front counter if you really care about it. I was thinking it was totally ok for me to gulp down tons of sweetened tea because it wasn’t soda. No. The food is super yummy but remember, just because it’s vegan doesn’t mean it’s super low in fat and calories.

So. Much. Yum. My hubby and I came here for the first time today and were blown away by how amazing it was. When we walked in, the girl behind the counter noticed we looked unsure and gave us a full menu breakdown, complete with popular item suggestions and pairing options. We picked out a few small items and our food was ready SO fast. Everything went beyond our expectations of what fake meat would or even could ever be. The flavors and textures were all amazing. We can’t wait to come back! Items we tried: Buffalo wings Street corn Santa Fe chicken sandwich Sweetheart fries All of the different types of teas I would recommend every single item we had!

I was looking for a vegan friendly restaurant in the Beaverton area and I found this refreshing and modern café! The staff smiles and offers suggestions and the décor is really colorful, modern and a bit whimsical. With a 100% plant-based menu they are great for vegetarians and vegans. Because of their many options it would be a great place to convince your non-vegan friends that what we eat is scrumptious just like omnivores!

My family loves Veggie Grill! They have an ever changing menu so there’s always something new to try. They serve comfort food as well, so it’s a great place for vegans who are craving something familiar. Also great to take non veg family and friends and let them try out delicious veg good. Get the crispy cauliflower… Thank me later.

The customer service at the veggie grill is great. The women who took my order told me a lot of information on the foods. Unfortunately she did not tell me that veganaise is used by the gallons. It seemed everything had it in it. Also I’m not a fan of vegan burgers trying to taste like meat. But the constancy of the cheeseburger patty reminded me of a par boiled potato. Also kale style means its just the patty with a couple of slices of kale under it. On the note of the kale, it was delicious!!! Really was hoping to find a good vegan american restaurant :( Last note chili is really bland

I zero to rarely leave a review on a restaurant’s page but since I go here every single day on my lunch break, I will give this restaurant a review that it duly deserves. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. They greet you with a huge smile when you come in and out of the restaurant. Shout out to Saundra and the 2 other managers. Very nice people. This restaurant exudes positive vibes which is very encouraging for customers to keep coming back. Obviously, the food. They have engineered their plant-based menu to provide a healthy low calorie/high protein diet to its costumers. And don’t be fooled by their vegetarian representation, their food is too. My favorite is their buffalo chickin. It’s patty is very comparable to an animal meat minus all the calories that comes with it. Overall, customer service is excellent and the foods are very delicious and healthy leaving me a one happy customer. Thank you! #businessdoneright

This Veggie Grill isn’t near as good as the one in downtown Portland. The quinoa salad that I ordered was ridiculous. I ordered without currants and beans only and they took out all the nuts, avocado, and dressing, and was so small. Not only does the downtown location get it right every time, the portions are huge, and for nine dollars you should expect them to be. Also, tried the mac’n’cheese and it was horrible… tasted like wet cardboard smells. The carrot cake was awesome, as it is in all Veggie Grills, but I assume this is shipped and not a reflection of prep work as a salad might be.

Once upon a time, in a land far away, I used to eat meat. To be fair, it was the Land of Delicious Meats — Western New York. And I do not mean the western part of New York City. I’m referring to the Western part of the State of New York, Buffalo and Rochester. During my formative years, I came to savor the True Buffalo Wing. Deep fried, crunchy, tossed in a buttery sauce which included the elixir that is Franks’s Red Hot. Since becoming a vegetarian, I have longed for that flavor. Or any flavor other than kale and quinoa. Veggie Grill delivered. Actually, I wish they did deliver… that Rite Aid/Safeway/Trader Joe’s parking lot is super annoying. Pros: Amazing food that even my carnivore husband likes! Great onion rings. Friendly people(which I don’t mind, it’s much less annoying to me than sullen cashiers who treat customers like they’re an inconvenience — Noodles and Co, I’m looking at you!). An excellent selection of healthy food and vegan junk food. It’s so awesome to have options other than salad! Cons: The parking lot. That plaza is inconvenient at best. Children have been lost in those pot holes, I swear.

Where do I begin??? Oh yeah, With EVERYTHING on the menu! But, if you know me the way to my heart is baked sweets, pies, etc., so you know I’m going straight for the Carrot Cake,(which I am kind of a snob when it comes to this because its hands down my absolute favorite thing in the world next to coffee) *Literally the BEST Carrot Cake I’ve ever had in my life! omg and the Fish Tacos are to die for! The Customer service is Amazing as well and overall my experience brings me back time and time again, Loved it.

I love the faux boneless buffalo wings and Cauli Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, the kale not so much. Unfortunately, they are seriously lacking in the condiment department: boring yellow mustard and cheap Cholulu hot sauce. Not too surprising as it’s a chain. The service is a little over-the-top peppy. Expect a positive statement about your attire 90% of the time. You see, their market research has determined that such pseudo compliments result in increased return visits as the customer unconsciously attributes good feelings of self esteem to Veggie Grill. So I ask for my normal cup of warm or hot water, but the tall, very friendly GQ guy says, «we don’t have hot water.» Really? I would think some recipe, especially ones that require boiling or steaming require warm/hot water. Better yet, doesn’t some part of the cleaning process require hot water? So there you have it, no warm/hot water, no hot tea or other liquids that aid digestion at health-centric Veggie Grill. Lame.

Trying to be healthy, but you don’t want to cook? Tired of fast food and you’re starving? Tempted to check out Veggie Grill, but you have some qualms about it? Whether or not you are truly vegetarian, Veggie Grill is an excellent option for a healthy habit. Veggie Grill has been popping up everywhere. This chain has been quite successful that they now have about 3 – 4 locations in the Portland Metro area. [décor] Think modern. Lots of orange and white colors going on. They have some bamboo-ish walls and tables as well as white laquered ones too. This location has a few seats outside on the patio. There are some booth seats as well as regular tables. [devour] *THAICHICKIN’($ 9.95; ***4STARS***) — Sliced pieces of grilled chicken(I think it’s fake chicken but still yummy), shredded romaine lettuce and red cabbage, along with corn salsa, chopped green onion, mandarin oranges, black and white sesame seeds, shredded cilantro, wonton strips for texture and crunch comes along with a spicy Thai dressing. This unbelievable concoction is quite delish. The portions are quite large so it’s good for two meals or to share with another.( ) *ALLHAILKALE($ 8.95 entrée; $ 7.25 lunch; ***5STARS***) — Is probably my all time fave. The marinated kale(in their oh so yummy sauce) is served with red cabbage, corn salsa, some sweet roasted walnuts(was roasted in agave sauce), comes with a ginger-papaya vinaigrette. You can add their«Blackened Chickin» for $ 2.75 more. I would and it would make the dish much more delish. Just like the Thai Chickin’ salad, the dish is large in portions so it’s good for two meals or to share with another. WORTHIT.(sorry no photo available) FYI = –Ample parking lot –Accepts CC’s –Lemonade(SOGOOD), beer, wine, soda, and water available –You can order food to-go –Quick, fast and fresh food and service –They have other locations on the West Coast(California) Yes it may be a bit pricey than your average McDeez, but it’s truly worth the dollar! Chain Restaurant so they all taste the same. The Thai Chickn Salad is always good. My friends got the nachos, and fish tacos which they said were decent. And we also got a chocolate chip cookie and a carrot cake to share, honestly they were just okay. I’m not a vegetarian, but my friends who are love this place.

This is one of the best veggie spot. Comes under my all time favorite category. Great buffalo wings, burgers and salads. Buffalo bomber burger is spicy, juicy and so filling. Baja Fiesta salad with veggie chicken strips is tasteful. Lentil soup and steam kale are good side dishes. Can try Chocolate parfait dessert. Its a perfect end to a wholesome meal. Love the colorful décor and quick service. Place even non vegetarians can try and will love. Must try place.

A heaven for veggie lovers. I am a non-vegetarian, who only orders non-veg dishes whenever I go out. I decided to give a vegetarian restaurant a try and I wasn’t disappointed at all. We went as a group and tried several items: Crispy Chickin Wings(Buffalo): Awesome(very similar to the Buffalo wings that I am used to). Buffalo Bomber sandwich: Uses the same crispy chickin wings as above and was pretty good as well. Blackened Chikin Plates: Blackened chikin was awesome, but the quinoa pilaf was average and the steamed kale leaves(particularly the sauce that was on top) was great. Quantity of this wouldn’t be enough for the hungry. Santa Fe Crispy Chickin Wrap or Sandwich: Both were pretty darn good. Sides: Regular potato fries: very good. Sweet Potato fries: was the least liked item of all the ones that we had. Spring Mix salad: was decent. Bean soup: Pretty good and quite heavy at the same time. Chili soup: Not good. Pretty fast and good service.

If I have not posted my review for Veggie Grill yet, I truly apologize. Veggie Grill is one of the FEW examples that still gives me hope for AmericaI I am NOT a Vegetarian. But I really want to eat healthy. And I DON“T want to eat the toxic waste provided by most fast food chains! Veggie Grill is a breath of fresh air. A Salvation. ITISHEALTHYFASTFOOD! My go to meal is the«All Hale Kale» — WITHCHICKIN. This meal is a delight! Full of goodness and fake chicken that is absolutely amazing in its ability to mimic the texture, appearance, and taste of real grilled chicken. And the visual appearance, with the deep green, rich purple, and dazzling orange is truly attractive. I leave this place feeling full and very pleased. You owe it to yourself to try it!
