There is going to definitely be a wait if you just show up, but it’s really worth it. Staff is really great and attentive and the food is very good. They even gave us coffee to go which was extremely kind of them.

Great breakfast place, sometimes i drive here all the way from Orland Park. Perfect service, usually there is a line but it goes fast. Food is amazing, Personally love Skillets and Benedict’s They have fresh juices(strawberry and orange). If you have kids they have books and toys for them, great place to spend time with your family or friends. Delicious food, fast and great service.

The service here is always incredible! The food is amazing and I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like. Seasonal items available, which is also a nice touch. Sometimes the wait can be long but it’s nice to walk through the shops if they’re open. Only downside is it closes at 2. Whether you want lunch or breakfast it is a great choice for all. Oh! And you need to try the hot chocolate… It comes with whipped cream and sprinkles!

My husband and I usually visit places that we already know for breakfast, but once in a while we like to try something new. This place was our first timer and it was very disappointing. Burned coffee brought in pitchers that were filled who knows when. Cold crapes with zero flavor. And cigarettes like smelling waitress. Gross! We are not coming back!

We had the pleasure of working with Sam at the restaurant. She was utterly wonderful and memorable from a customer service standpoint — making sure that we had to-go coffee, making sure we were happy with our meal. She is to be commended, and we passed this on to the management. Sam is a winner, and as memorable as it gets. The food is also to be raved about. We wanted it all, but we opted for the Aztec omelet and the Vegetarian Benedict. Both were outstanding. Kudos to the kitchen staff for amazing entrees. We are sad that this place does not exist in Portland, but we look forward to coming back sometime down the road to enjoy this all over again. Until then, thanks Egg Harbor Café!

We found this gem on Unilocal and absolutely loved it. The food is amazing and the staff are so friendly! Live the fact that it is family owned and that they source thief products with other family owned businesses

We have eaten at a few other of their locations. We try to stay gluten free however our server gave us regular cinnamon rolls instead of the gluten free cinnamon rolls from Sweet Ali’s. The regular ones are also made from the same bakery and are just as delicious but are lighter and twice the size. It was a small mistake and the place is pretty busy for the day before mother’s day so we can understand the mix up. We would still come again for breakfast.

The first thing I noticed walking in was paintings featuring roosters were everywhere. I was expecting to see«egg» décor since the name is egg harbor, but that’s all trivial. The atmosphere reminds me of country breakfast places which is really cute and charming. They served our soda in mason jars with lemon on the side which was a nice touch. I ordered the eggs Benedict and I absolutely loved it. It came with crispy potatoes seasoned with chives. I was also surprised to taste artichokes in the mix along with the spinach. Overall a cute a cozy place with country charm.

One of my favorite breakfast places around the suburbs, excellent skillets with a great selection. It gets crowded due to it being so good so you can expect a short wait but it’s well worth it.

Exceptional breakfast/brunch spot! Their egg dishes are divine, my fave is the Geneva Rosti: eggs, bacon, potatoes, and cheese baked frittata style. Huge portions, fresh fruit on the side. I also really like that they have a pepper grinder on their tables instead of a pepper shaker. They also offer coffee to go at no extra charge at the end of your meal. One thing to note is that this is a very family friendly place and if you are looking for a quiet spot to read the paper while you eat, this is not the place. It is a loud diner often filled with screaming toddlers. No offense to screaming toddlers. The food makes up for the lack of peace and quiet. Also, expect a long wait for a table on weekends, they are packed from 8 – 12.

One of my favorite places for breakfast. I love that they have seasonal specials and their cherrywood bacon is to die for, as is their jalapeño bacon. There ice tea is great and they always offer you one to go. Strawberry orange juice is great too. If you see the lemon poppyseed pancakes on the menu, I highly recommend them. They are one of my seasonal favorites.

good experience on this chilly early morning autumn weekend… perfectly«nestled» in a corner of miniature square… busy but attentive staff to the customers… this«coop» is packed with early risers breakfast consumers… above average price tag menu items… food is flavorful, creative, colorful, well prepared and presented… however; seemed like someone forgot to add coffee grounds to the hot water when they brewed the coffee or maybe all the roosters ate all the beans…

Best place for breakfast around the area. My wife and I are always up to visiting new places and because of that we’ve been to places that are not that good so whenever we are not on the mood to leave it to fortune trying something new we come here because we know it’s going to be good. Coffee is from intelligentsia so that makes it even better. I recommend the San Antonio skillet if you don’t mind a bit spicy, also the chilaquiles to which we substitute the chorizo for chicken. Overall great family atmosphere and awesome place to be. I’ve also been to their Arlington heights location and service was not goo like it is here in hinsdale.

Delicious Croque Madame with a side of fresh berries, YES indeedy. My husband had the peanut butter crunch coffee(not a coffee drinker) and it smelled just delicious. There was a small 10 –15 minute wait but we were seated and attended to quickly. The staff is friendly & attentive and I always appreciate being treated like a valued patron. Will def be back when we are in the area. *tip, if you see many people waiting outside, don’t give up plans to dine here because it looks small from the outside, there is a lot of room inside and you shouldn’t have a long wait time*

. Sherry was phenomenal. So personable. Gave awesome suggestions. A+. We ordered a side of pancakes for 4 of use so she had the kitchen make them into all smaller pancakes do they were easier to split! So cute and DELISH! We even got to-go waters and coffees! The food was amazing. I got the Genova Rosti. Phenomenal. And big! A fiend got the basil Benedict which looked great. The other two got egg skillets which had a great portion and looked amazing!!! Great all around. Would totally go back if I actually lived in this state

We came here because it is one of my wife’s favorite spots. I am now a fellow fan. I had a great omelet here along with great juice, superb potatoes and great English muffin. Our server was very efficient and friendly. She gave us just enough attention and at the end of the meal let us talk and enjoy our coffee. I’ve been here a few times and I’m looking forward to a return visit.

This place looks small from the outside but it’s quite spacious inside. The food is so delicious. Good quality breakfast kind of a place. The only down thing about my visit to this location was the coffee. It almost taste like water. Eather the people in this area does not like coffee or the restaurant doesn’t make good coffee. It tasted like water to me. We asked if they could make a bit stronger and they tried but still it was not quite there. Anyway, the waitress was super nice and tried to do everything she could to make us happy. I’ll definitely come here again and recommend it to my friends.
