Typical subway, unfortunate the owner doesn’t honor ANY of the promotions subway does, BUT the local girl who works there is their saving grace. I always forget to catch her name, but she is amazing with customer service. She’s honestly the only reason I come to this subway. There’s one closer to me but the people aren’t friendly. Keep her.

Employees need customer service training they need to know without customers they don’t get paid. Crystal served me today, horrible attitude shaking her head annoyingly she thought I couldn’t see when I asked her to cut my sandwich in half. I then questioned her bout the pricing, she replied I’ll give you a receipt so you know I’m not cheating you, walked away and pleasantly chatted with her fellow employee that was trying to service another customer… thumbs down…

Customer service is terrible! The guy behind the counter is incredibly rude. Scolding newly trained employees in front of customers. I didn’t get any napkins for my sub so I ask him for some napkins and he gives me 1 napkin. 1 napkin! Unbelievable. My girlfriend asked him if they had any complimentary cups of water(like most places do) then he gives her this annoyed look and grabs a Dixie cup and fills it up at the hand wash sink and plops it on the counter. Absolutely terrible, I will never go back and warn others not to. Not worth it

It’s subway — so if I have to tell you about a sub sandwich– I am in trouble. All of the food is the normal subs. Yeah– prices have gone up and they tricked us all into thinking a sub is only $ 5 when we go in there but the commercials did there trick and made us believe we are getting a better value than what we actually pay when we go to the check out. So enough complaining. Subway service in general is just normal to me too– they ask what I want and I get what I want as I can see what they are doing. In general — I never ask for toasted. Good things: Why this location is good. It is in a weird little section of Makaiki that usually in general does not have too many homeless people bothering you constantly like in the Beritania location down the street. So it is in a nicer kinda area is what I’m trying to get at. Parking is easy if you are a local and know where to get in and out of from Wilder. Best Thing Ever– There is TCBY in there tooooo!!! YEAH!!! Can you tell I am a FAN!!! There are different chops around it. Helps keep a better feeling all around in general.

I love this little Subway. It’s right by our house so we go here often. It’s not the biggest Subway, it’s not he smallest. It’s not the nicest one I’ve ever been in, but certainly not the worst. I’d say, over the last 6 months or so, we’ve been to this Subway at least 8 or 10 times, but I’m sure it’s way more. Every time we’re there, it’s the same 2 girls. They’re always smiling, always pleasant, and always working hard. I swear, they are the only 2 people that work there. At least, they are the only 2 that work in the evenings. Their service is always top notch. Even when they’ve been their busiest(3 people in front of me, 6 behind me), they never stopped smiling. They also recognize faces, so it’s a great feeling when they acknowledge you. My only complaint, they’re always out of spinach by the time we get there for dinner. The one girl(her name I don’t know, and I should), knows now too! The last time I was in there I looked down at the counter, looked at her and she laughed and said, «I know! We ran out again!!». Guess we just need to start going earlier, or start brining our own spinach! The quality of the food is as good as I would expect from Subway. The bread is always fresh, and aside from the lack of spinach, they always have what we want. Even if they never have spinach again, I’ll still support our friendly neighborhood Subway!

I had such a great service experience at this Subway that I was inspired to write a review! My husband and I split a foot long Italian sub but of course wanted different things. My sandwich artist was so positive and accommodating when it came to making our sandwich that if I had a business I’d hire her away. We bought the meal option she was even cool enough to let us replace our drink with an extra chips. 5-stars all the way in my book! P. S. Is this possibly the last TCBY on the island? Talk about throwback Thursday!

I know about the service and food about this subway… hey I am the current duchess ;) I eat here about once a month, it’s really close to my house and they always have some good footlong deal I can share with my hubby. I’ve never had a problem with service, the workers are nice and they pile on the veggies which I love. Only one time did someone mess up my order. The cookies are tasty(they even have a seasonal gingerbread) and the seating area seems clean, although I usually take my sandwich to go. Can’t beat the convenience… subway, eat fresh!

TERRIBLESERVICE and bad food quality! My review for this place has gone from 3 stars to 1. With service this bad I do not understand how they stay in business. I opted for a salad due to having read a couple of articles stating that they use a form of rubber in their bread… um no thanks. First of all they have«double» chicken salad listed on the salad menu. I had to ask a girl if I could have just a regular chicken salad. I could and it was actually a dollar less. Why would they only list a «double» and I be forced to pay $ 1 more if I’d not asked? Rip off alert. They also are«out of spinach at the moment» and as you probably all know, their iceberg lettuce has a ton of white in it which is completely lacking nutrition but did I have any other option? NO! Now here is the primary reason for rating this place one star. As soon as I walked in there wasn’t anyone in line or behind the counter and I could hear chattering and laughing from the back room. Granted I had only stood there for about a minute but really, aren’t employees supposed to be watching up front for customers to come in? Isn’t that the reason they are in business? Then, the woman that helped me(a tall, larger polynesian or mixed dark woman), put my salad together and when she asked me if I wanted any oil & vinegar and black pepper I replied«no oil and vinegar, black pepper please». She was talking to another employee as she squirt vinegar on my salad. Then I said«I’m sorry, I said ‘no oil and vinegar’». Then she proceeds to tell me: «I asked you if you wanted black pepper and oil & vinegar, you should have said ‘just black pepper’!» Then she slammed the salad in the trash as I was telling her«it’s okay…» and she replied«NO!» then began making the next salad. She also did not thank me and gave me a shitty attitude. Really lady?! Do you think I came here for a lesson on how you would like for me to respond to your questions?! I definitely do not have trouble communicating and the volume of my voice has never been a problem anywhere else at anytime! If you stop chit chatting with your coworkers and start paying attention to your customers then maybe you will not make mistakes. Also, her complete lack of accountability and disregard for her customers actually causes me to feel sorry for her. She will probably work at Subway for the rest of her life if she doesn’t get fired after this review which by the way I highly doubt based on the other reviews on this location. I will NEVER eat there again.

Yes I go back occasionally… mainly for the convenience. It’s quick and nearby my apt, and when I’m hungry, it satisfies that need. That being said, I find myself doing the inside my head groan…“is there another closer subway?“ They are consistently unprofessional… rushing you, having small talk with each other in front of you, barely pleasant, messy while making your sandwich, attitude. I like to tip. I have years of experience in customer service, so I understand being on the other side of the counter. I usually give 20% for normal service. I’ve even gone back to a place after I stopped by an ATM when I didn’t have enough cash on me at the time of payment. I’ve stopped tipping at this place. And I think today was my last day going to this location. By the way, don’t make any phone orders to this place. I was there when they complained about one order and it wasn’t even busy. I was the only one there and I’d just gotten done paying for mine. Lazy. One star for the food.

I was so ao disappointed in the attitude and service I recieved today. Never ever go here ever!!! Crystal the manager is horrible!!! I ordered a sweet onion chicken teriyaki, she asked if I wanted sweet onion sauce, I responded yes with light mayo please. She put on the sweet onion sauce and a dark one I’ve never seen before. I asked her what sauce that was she said oh teriyaki, I didn’t want that, I told her oh I didn’t want that but she said you did I asked you, so I figured ummm ok I guess I could try it said whatever lets see. They were super busy i felt bad. I addressed it at the end again to let her know how horrible it tasted and that it tasted like bbq sauce. She said with attitude, oh no way it was teriyaki and I asked you. I let her know this was the first time anyone ever made it that way and she said every subway is different. I was so pissed that she kept walking away and ignoring my concern. Crystal claimed she was the manager. So unprofessional. I even pulled up the website menu to show her it didn’t have that sauce on it. She kept fighting with me. I know what is supposed to be on it, its been on the menu longer then she worked there! So rude!!! Not once did she offer to fix the sandwich or anything. I am writing a formal complaint to the company and owner about her terrible attitude and service. She continuously said oh we do things different from everyone. Um thats not what a franchise is. A franchise is a representation of a the same company owned by someone else! If i wanted a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwhich I wouldnt go to Quiznos. So why would every subway be different?! Ugh Crystal the supposed manager took no accountability for her mistake, just excuses. Poor management skills and horrible horrible excuses. There is no wonder this place has less than 2 stars. I would like to be contacted and for this to be recitfied. Crystal needs to be retrained on people skills and sandwhich making. She needs to adjust her attitude, if she was a customer in my establishment she would never recieve this type of disrespectful service from me or my team. If I was the owner of this Subway this would never happen. Subway should look at this locations Unilocal rewiews and re-consider their relationship for franchise, this gives the company a bad repuation that they don’t deserve based on one bad seed named Crystal. It stems much further up to the hiring manager and owner of the franchise if this continues. Its been 19 days since I filed my complaint to Subway and have not heard from the franchise owners yet as promised by Subway corporate. Very disappointing.

Oh Subway… Typical Subway with their menus and veggies. The place is pretty clean as is the sandwich station. The employees don’t always seem to be in the best mood. The amount of meat and veggies seem to be adequate but I always ask for extra pickles and banana peppers. My one warning to you is to not ask for salt and pepper! Don’t do it! I’ve always been one to ask for them, but after watching my coworkers sandwiches be covered in copious amounts of both… I would avoid it unless you want to develop hypertension or start sneezing from the amount of pepper on your sandwich. :)

I love Subway. I think it’s a great chain. This particular franchise is the worst though. Not only do they skimp on the ingredients, they’re also pretty rude. We walked in at 8:30pm and they are open until 9pm. As soon as we walked in the guy working looked at the clock and rolled his eyes. Seriously?! I understand wanting to get off of work, but it’s not like we walked in at the last minute. Think I’ll just go to the Pensacola one from now on. They’re a lot nicer there, and know how to make a sandwich properly.

I love that this place is small and easy to access. There is never a long line(the most I’ve experienced is 3 people ahead of me) and the service is usually pleasant. My only small gripe is they seem to be a little stingy with the veggies, although this is something I’ve noticed with many Subway chains. You just have to speak up and ask for more of something if you think you’re getting gypped. I’m usually in and out in less than 10 minutes with enough time to enjoy my sandwich on my lunch break. Also, if you’re in the mood for soft serve, TCBY is connected(same owner I think).
