This is definitely one of Hood River’s best kept secrets — a real lunch time delight that differs than everything else in town. One thing you should know is that Herbette now operates inside the Ten Speed coffee shop.

We have eaten at Herbette many times over the past two years, and while we have tried everything on the menu, we most often get the falafel and the cauliflower. Ingredients are as much locally sourced as possible. We have always gotten first rate food and service. As good or better than anything you will find in Portland. Highly recommended!

I wish that I lived closer to Hood River so that I could get my hands on those tasty Herbette dishes more often! Oh yeah the service is great too. If it seems like you are waiting a minute for your food its because its made fresh to order, but so worth the wait for awesome falafel or fresh grilled lamb! The only thing that would make them better is if they opened up another truck in Olympia!

I am a pretty big fan of food carts, so I was stoked to see one open up in Hood River. The food here is super yummy, but I wish the city would allow for an outdoor seating area so I could eat Gelato at the same so I could sit and nom like a total fatty. Luckily there is a park like a block away with a beautiful view so that’s not a huge deal-breaker. Anyway, I just read a review here that had all these preposterous exaggerations and wanted to let everyone know I eat here often and have never got sick. I have never had my white shirts stained when I leaned up against this cart and regarding the brown bagging… I thought that was legal in Hood River? With so many breweries close by, this little town is like heaven to me. Now that I can eat falafel on the go while I pub crawl to the different breweries, makes me a happy camper!

I love this cart. I get falafel here probably between four and six times a week. The flavors are always complex, the veggies fresh and the falafel piping hot. The owners are super chill, friendly and helpful. I read a recent negative review of the cart and couldn’t help but roll my eyes. To claim that both owners simultaneously came on to separate members of her family is literally laughable. I would suspect that the supposed«family physician» is fictitious; if not, I’m officially recommending they find a new one who passed medical school. Any legitimate doctor would likely already have her on some sort of psychiatric medication or at least intensive inpatient therapy to treat her narcissistic personality disorder. After having eaten here on a near daily basis, and having never felt discomfort other than self-inflicted over-fullness, I have to suspect that maybe the reviewer in question simply forgot to wash their hands after slinging shit and slander at local businesses. Seriously though, these guys are the bomb and they have awesome kombucha as well.

Super good Mediterranean food. They just opened this summer. I recommend the falafels and definitely get the lamb, they grill it up fresh!
