I worked for Leah in her food truck for 4 seasons. Leah is a truly amazing chef; a wonderful person to be around, and one of the most caring bosses anyone could ask for. She sets the standards for food trucks all over the Northwest. The ingredients used are locally sourced. Peaches, cherries, apples are all from local farmers which she uses in fresh smoothies. She uses local organic cheeses, meats, and eggs. Her menu changes depending on what is locally available at farmer’s markets. You can find Kale, cabbage, carrots, spinach, eggplant, fresh herbs, cauliflower, corn, in all her bowls and burritos. Leah’s Lunch attends a wide array of events; from festivals, yoga gatherings, Kite Board 4 Cancer, Paddle Challenge, and more. The truck, named Toni, is open to trying new local events and gatherings. Food is always made fresh to order. When you stop by the truck, you are greeted by friendly faces! A team that cares about where there food comes from, how it is cooked, and about your Food needs. You can find something for every family member. The quesadillas are hand pressed, gooey cheddar in the center and the chicken, avocado add on makes this a filling meal for kids and adults alike. Burritos are big and tightly wrapped. My favorite being the Beet Bbq Burrito. Beets are roasted and then added to her homemade bbq sauce which adds a sweet tang and a beautiful dark red color to the sauce. Her bowls are always changing and you can expect interesting and delightful Curries, stir frys, raviolis, salads, and veggie wraps. If you’ve got a hankering for sweets try the coconut, chocolate chip cookies, or one of the cheesecakes she has to offer. There is always something to go to Leah’s Lunch for. Try it, you’ll love it!

Leah knocks my socks off! She puts love and care into her food by only preparing the healthiest, most nourishing food a person can put into their bodies. She is awesome and can’t wait for her to open up again for the season!

I had the Baja Bowl and it was delicious. Nice basil limeade as well. A great little truck.

Great fresh, healthy, and tasty bowls. A couple vegan selections, too. Tried it for the 1st time today, will definitely be back! Yum :)

Just sitting here in my office thinking about how much I want a buffalo chicken bowl form Leah’s Lunch. I can’t wait for her to reopen late this spring! She sources great ingredients from local farmers in the Hood River area and includes many ‘super foods’ on the menu. A big thanks to Leah’s Lunch for creating a healthy and tasty lunch option in the Hood!
