Beauty Empire

Came here looking for havana mambo twist hair and called ahead of time to see if they had it in stock. The man I spoke to over the phone was very helpful and said he would hold it for me
(I was kinda late getting to the store though and as soon as I walked in, he was on his way to put it back), but it shows that he did actuall pull it for me =)
The store does have a lot of items, and if I’am ever in the neighborhood, I would love to go back.

I love the Beauty empire chain. I like that they have variety. This location has been promoting a second store that is about 2 – 3 blocks down From this location. Well today I visited both and I was unimpressed with the new location. It is very blank. Plain .and a waste of space. The Beauty empire plus what they call it promoted a lot of things on their Instagram page that they didn’t even have in stock. I would have to say that this location was better stocked than down the street new location. The prices were no steals like I am accustomed to when I visit the one in south park. From now on I think I will stick to my regular location they always have sales and deals. Check in and get a discount all kinds of customer appreciation.

They have a huge stock of wigs which is great. But all sales are final which sucks especially when you can’t try on a wig before purchasing nor can you return one that doesn’t fit.

I’ve been coming to this store for a few years, and I love the huge selection of hair supplies and other things that they have here. I drive from the Katy area to shop here for all my hair items, because of how great the customer service is.

It’s a great beauty supply store with a large variety of what ever you are looking for. What will have me coming back is the customer service! From the time I walked in till the moment l left I felt welcome. They didn’t follow me around like I was stealing or make me feel rushed at all. I will return.

This review is long OVERDUE! This is one of my favorite beauty supply stores/​chains.
Okay. Where do I begin?
She, me, her — we ALL love shopping at Beauty Empire! Lol! Yes, you read that right. I shop for looks for each of my distinct personalities in this store. For those who don’t know, I’m a natural hair aficionado, and I like to switch up my hair and looks often because I get bored. (I’ll throw a wig on for the weekend just because). You really can’t go wrong with this place. They have a large variety and items are mostly always in-​stock. (I came here once for the Cuban twist hair on the weft, which they didn’t have, but that’s the only time I can recall not finding something I wanted). Their price point is fair, although some items may be priced $ 1-​$ 3 more than other, smaller stores. However, for the variety and convenience of getting everything you need in one place, I find that it’s worth it to just shop here.
This particular store is more like a warehouse or swap meet (in a good way). They sell some of my favorite make up brands, such as NYX, LA Girl and Ruby Kisses. I’m really into bright and bold lip colors right now and they have a lot! They also sell purses, shoes and costume/​club jewelry — a lot of the same stuff that you can find overpriced at the mall. No ma’am to paying a 200% markup on trendy fashions. My favorite purchase was the black and white pop culture clutch I bought. It features magazine covers of Rihanna, Beyoncé, Rita Ora, etc. It was under $ 25 and I get a ton of compliments when I wear it.
Mommies, while you’re in here, you might as well take advantage of the kid/​school supplies they have available. Backpacks, lunch boxes, socks, etc., they carry all that here. And once you send your kids back to school, grab a wig cap and try on a few pieces. Your husband/​boyfriend/​baby daddy/​side dude can thank me later. Just tell them Tashi L. sent you and they’ll hook you up.
Go in looking like Monday and come out looking like PAYDAY! LOL! No, seriously.
And shout out to one of the owners of Beauty Empire, Jules K., for reaching out and making sure my visits have been up to par! The beauty supply industry is so over-​saturated with the demand for hair and products that some owners seem to take our patronage for granted. Let’s face it: as a woman, you’re going to spend a certain amount of money to ensure you’re looking good. You might as well shop with a place that not only carries an extensive variety, but also appreciates your business.

I’m giving Beauty Empire 5 stars because I have been to many other beauty supply stores, and none compare to this store. What I like most about this store is that I have always found the items that I need for my hair. Other beauty supply stores come up short when it comes to certain items. I’m very picky about what I put in my hair, so I use the same products. The products I use must not contain alcohol, and I have found that this store has a wide range of alcohol free products while other stores come up short in this department. I also like that this store is always stocked with any item you can think of. Items like plastic caps and mesh wraps are hot items and they go fast, but this store keeps a healthy supply of these favorites on hand. There are plenty of products for men and women. They even have products for kids hair, along with the necessary accessories for little girls. If your hair is natural, they’ve got you covered too. You can shop here for products that cater to your natural locks.
For those of you that wear weave or wigs, this is your store. The variety of hair goes on and on. Trust me when I tell you that they will have what you are looking for. They’ve got hair to suit every occasion happening in your life. They’ve got vacation hair (braids), daily work hair (not too expensive straight weave, pony tails or wigs), and elegant hair (Remy). If you wear it, they’ve got it. I’ll be picking up my «vacation» hair this weekend.
In addition to hair care products, you can find dome dryers for those of you that are old school like me and still sit under a dryer. You can also get your lashes, lip stick/​gloss, nail polish, and jewelry here.
There are so many items to choose from so as long as this store is open, there is no reason why you can’t find what you are looking for in hair care products or accessories.
A new store is coming in September 2015 not far from this location. I was told that there will be lots of promotions, so get ready to snatch up some deals.

They are nice ppl but they are out of stock of a lot of things I’m looking for. I always have to drive to another location plus there prices on some items are too high.

It’s a pretty large beauty supply store… can be somewhat overwhelming but it was easy to locate an employee… large variety

Ok beauty empire. I spend 145 bucks in your store, leave and realize several behind the counter items I requested are not in my bag. I return an as I’m paying notice a sign VIP card with 50 $ or more. When I point it out you tell me that I did not spend 50 $…lady I just did 2 min ago.
Lady: oh no next time you spend 50 $
Me: no next time, yes you just lost a customer. you have zero prices posted and you get an attitude when I ask on top of it all
DO NOT SHOP AT BEAUTY EMPIRE ON WESTHEIMER.

I will be short and sweet… I place with alot of things but the prices are very weird. I can usually get the Bevery Johnson Micro Braid hair back home (Dallas) for about $ 30 a bag and they have it ranging from $ 49.99 — $ 89.99 what a rip off and some of the bags, color, length hair but they cant tell you why the difference.
Also the hair I purchased the bag was so skimpy the price is going up and the bags are not as half full as they once were. I wear micros and usually I get 2 bags and only use a bag and a half now Im forced to get 3 bags and use 2 and a half… either the manufactors are ripping us off or the supply houses are ripping us… Either way we are being beat.
KEEP AN EYE ON THOSE PRICE TAGS

Good place but you have to watch the prices as you check out lots of the items don’t have prices stickers on them and they will charge you whatever they think it is off hand. I would have been over charged $ 3 and every dollar counts to me now a days.
This store definitely tries to carry everything.
