Jose Vasquez – State Farm Insurance Agent

HORRIBLE agent. I wouldn’t recommend Jose. I don’t think he represents State Farm very well. My husband and I have been with State Farm for 15 years and couldn’t be more happy to switch. His office never follows up on outstanding items. He lies regarding claims and doesn’t help answer questions about claims. He denied our request to transfer our policies to another agent causing us to jump through more hoops.

Great agent! Wonderful service! Have never been happier with an insurance company or with a State Farm agent!

WORST State Farm Rep ever and I’ve been a State Farm customer for over 26 years! He gave me a quote for my home insurance that was one rate and then I was billed for 1.5 times his quote. I called him and his office 3 times for an explanation and did not receive even one return call from him after 7 business days!
When I asked his office personnel for his supervisor’s name and contact number so that I could escalate my issue, they actually told me that he didn’t have a supervisor!?! What, you work for State Farm and you don’t have a supervisor? Please, I wasn’t born yesterday! They never even called me back to provide me with this information; I had to find his supervisor’s name through my former agency.
Of course, once I filed a complaint about him with State Farm, he was quick to respond — via email asking me to call him! What? I left you 3 messages and you don’t even have the courtesy to call me back and want me to call you again? NO WAY!
If you’re remotely thinking of using this agent, I would strongly advise against it. I will also be filing a complaint to the TX Board of Insurance about this agent.
