Overview: This Subway is a near-full-size subway nestled right next to gate 48 in the Houston Hobby Airport. The Establishment: At least 10 tables, pretty much all the standard Subway options, no $ 5 footlongs, and located directly across from the bathrooms. Very convenient. I paid ~$ 7 I believe(current as of Jan, 2015) for my footlong steak egg and cheese sandwich. I think my foot-long chicken breasts are around $ 0.50 more expensive. The Service: About average for Subway standards(which in my opinion is very good overall). Great hearings of toppings, quick service, usually good communicators. The Food: If you like the quality of Subway ingredients outside of airports, you’ll like the quality of ingredients in this particular Subway. I thought my 9-grain honey oat bread was soft, flavorful, and fragrant, the veggies looked and tasted very crisp yet ripe, and everything was handled with care. Portion sizes were great(as usual) and this is hands down the healthiest option in the Hobby Airport. Conclusions: If you’re a frequent traveler who is starting to grow a airport-food-belly, you should scoot on over to Gate 48. For prices only a dollar or two more than out-of-airport Subways, you can have a great filling lunch or dinner with a nice place to sit and read the news.

friendly service. prices are more expensive than non-airport locations, but not outrageous.

You know what you are going to get with Subway. And their prices are cheaper than many of the other airport options. I choose a salad… it had a little too much dressing but was good.

A for effort and lots of crew. At this point I will eat anything but this is par for a subway other than price.
