The cakes are not bad but the prices are way too steep! I think jungle café has better cakes in terms of flavor and presentation for about the same price… I haven’t tried anything else from here. This is located inside H-​Mart by their food court.

This bakery shop has some cute options for cake and pastries. I really like the decorations on their cakes. It looks like it would be very yummy and flavorful, but like the saying goes, never judge a book by it’s cover.” Well, in this case, never judge a cake by it’s frosting.
I’ve ordered 2 cakes from them in the past. The first one was so dry and didn’t have much flavor. I was expecting it to be moist and flavorful; so I was so disappointed. The 2^nd cake I thought they would improve since it’s been a few years, I ordered one for my bf’s birthday and it was the same as the first. super dry and not very flavorful. They have pieces of fruits on top and some inside the cake, but they were so dry and didn’t retain any moisture at all.
I will never buy cakes here again. I’ll just admire from afar.

Just to start off, I must say that I absolutely love their butter bread. But the butter bread aside, everything else is just average to plain. He customer service is lacking and the selection is very small. For the price that you are paying for quality should be much better.
However, if you’re in the area and happened to be shopping at the H Mart definitely give their butter bread a try.

Overpriced. Compared to other bakeries in town, the breads here cost more but are only ²⁄₃ the size! Though as part of an international bakery mega-​chain, they probably can’t do much about the size or price. The breads here do look nice, but unfortunately aren’t even as good as the other Asian bakeries, ignoring price.
Come here if you’re looking for Korean specialty breads and pastries, since most other local bakeries are either Chinese or Taiwanese. Or go to Koryo Bakery, right outside Super H Mart, where they have larger, cheaper, and higher quality Korean baked goods, but a much more limited selection.
Otherwise, most of the stuff here is pretty standard and can be better found elsewhere. A good place to start is Desir Bakery in the nearby 99 Ranch Market, which makes Chinese/​European style bread that’s tastier and half the price.

I like their butter cream bread. They usually run out pretty fast though. Sometimes they’re already gone by 3 PM, so I recommend going there earlier to purchase them if you can.

I’m giving 1 star because of the rude customer service! The first time that I came here, I wanted to order a cake and I asked if they did pre-​orders. The girl told me yes and so I asked if I can pre-​order a tiramisu cake and have happy birthday on it, she said no they can only write Merry Christmas. UH, what is the point of pre-​ordering?! After a while of talking and explaining blah blah, it turned out they did not take pre-​orders. What a waste of my time. The second time I came here, I bought a cake (overpriced btw) and when I asked for a plastic bag, the girl told me «We don’t normally give plastic bags for cake but here I guess.» Attitude much?! I will not be returning here because of the poor customer service! It’s understandable that they have a lot of customers and all, but at least have some courtesy.

SUPER OVERPRICED BAGUETTES!!! I got 2 baguettes for $ 5.90! (Say what?!) They didn’t even have the price displayed so I didn’t know I was being ripped off until they rang me up at the register. Will NOT come back for baguettes EVER again… Customer service was also questionable. All I heard she said from the moment she saw me was «5.90!». Her facial expression looked like she couldn’t wait for me to pay and get out of her sight any faster. Woman! I don’t think a smile would hurt too much, you know?
On a brighter note, they have really good cream puffs here for $ 2 per bag (there are 6 puffs in each bag, if I remember correctly). I personally think they are extra tasty after keeping them in a fridge for a little while.

Loved the little rolls they have but super disappointed in the cakes. So an average of 3 out of 5.

Worst customer service i ever had. The employee are talking bad about customer in their back. Not recommend for people to cone here. My friends and family will nrver go to this store again.

I don’t come here a lot but usually there’s nothing to comment about except the quality of the bread, which is good. But just now, the only working employee had such a bitch face on and only spoke in murmurs. He was snappy and barely said anything except «4.50» Don’t show your negative attitude to customers. I did not have the chance to say anything, I just brought my tray in front.

Love their milk soft bread. I grab at least 10 and pass it out at work. I can never get enough to share. Heat it up a little in the microwave and mmmm ooh la la! Their cakes are so pretty to look at but I wouldn’t say best tasting. I’m giving 4 stars because there are things that are so delicious but some are just meh.

They have a few Tous Les Jours locations in Jakarta and I was absolutely obsessed with it. The bread was so fluffy and delicious. I was excited to find out that Houston had its very own Tous Les Jours so I had high expectations.
I figured since it’s under the same brand the quality would be the same… came here to say that it was not. Some of their breads were rough/​unappetizing. Nothing like the soft delicious goodness that I came across in Jakarta.
Price was okay, I haven’t tried some of their cakes and their drinks was meh. I only come here when I’m shopping at H-​Mart and I’m craving their twisted sugar bread (I forgot what it’s called). Overall, it’s an okay bakery. Definitely better than your local walmart/randall’s/other grocery store bakery but not spectacular to write home about.

Tried the banana mango smoothie and it tasted pretty good. FYI: There’s a cash register right under the sign for coffee and ice cream and I waited there for 5 minutes before somebody told me they don’t use that one and you have to place your order at the bakery register.

Little bakery shop inside the super Hmart. Love the pasteries, bread, and cakes! I love it all! All breads are individually packaged. My favorite cake is the sweet potato and mocha cake. Perfect amount of sweetness. I come early before noon so I can get the freshest ones. No exchange or returns on cakes & breads.

An absolute gem located inside of H-​Mart. I always get at least a couple of cheesecakes from here, they are more like bread than the traditional cheesecake but they are so soft and light they are awesome!

My favorite bakery in Houston is located in a Korean supermarket!!!
My favorite items are the butter cream breads. These slim «hotdog buns» are filled with either plain, chocolate, or peanut butter flavored whipped butter.
These little pastires pair up PERFECTLY with a cup of coffee and I usually buy around 10 and keep them in the fridge for the week! SOOOOO ADDICTIVE SOOO GOOD!
Service here isn’t exactly friendly… taking a star for this… but other than that I can’t reccomend this place highly enough!

I love the bread from here! And the cakes! I recommend for you to go there earlier in the day to get the best selection of breads and other pastries. This place is really far from where I live but Everytime I’m in the area I also stop by to buy bread for breakfast or just to snack on. The cakes are so delicious and fresh! The price is a little high but it’s really not that bad!

I go back to this bakery repeatedly! The drive is well worth the reward. Though the name is French, the bakery is located in a Korean supermarket. My guess is that this is an Asian spin on European pastries? Thus, the items seem lighter and less sweet than pastries we find in North America or Europe. My favorite item, and I buy the my the boat load, are the butter cream breads. They look like slim hotdog buns filled with the most incredible, light, creamy and heavenly whipped butter with a hint of sweetness. The bun itself it reminiscent of an airy brioche or challah. Btw they come in plain, chocolate, and peanut butter.

The Good:
1. Great customer service. I had to post-​pone pickup date and they kindly changed pick up date.
2. Milk Choco 2 cake icing was to die for!!!
3. Perfect amount of sweetness.
The Bad:
1. I had ordered two of the cakes (Cloud 5 & Milk Choco 2). They were both dry and not moist at all. So I will not be ordering from them again.
At another time, I did bought some macarons. It was my first time trying them and I was also disappointed. Their red velvet was good though.

Some of their pastries are good, I find their breads are good though. You have to come to place during the day, their stuff gets bought fast from what I noticed. The only thing I usually buy here is the red bean pastries.
I sometimes come here for their drinks and i honestly think it sucks. I got a yogurt smoothie one time and it tasted like the cheap little bottle liquid yogurt mixed with ice. Some time later I tried their strawberry smoothie. It was just strawberry syrup mixed with ice. By the way, the man that works there (i assume hes the manager) is not nice. When i ask him questions about the products he makes it seem like its too much work to tell me when its his job to tell me so I can buy his products. I also feel that he looks down on certain individuals. If it looks like you aren’t planning to buy alot, he wont give you any sort of respect.
When hes not there though, I find this place alright. He makes my experience there just bleh.
