Villages of Copperfield

Fraud, con artists, very very DIRTY dealing. I lived here for 2 years, gave the complex 90 days notice when I was moving, never once was late or short with my rent NOT ONCE, paid my rent in full on time all the way through the terms of my lease. Had the carpets cleaned when I moved out and 2 months later IQ Data Int starts harassing me, telling me this place did not acknowledge my 90 days written notice submitted to them in person with three people in my company who witnessed it because I was supposed to give 60 days notice and now they want more than a months rent for failure to give notice I was not renewing my lease!!! The office was calling and calling me the last two months trying to get me to come in and they would negotiate rent with me, whatever they needed to do to keep me there, they called me repeatedly right up until I handed in my keys trying to get me to stay, even had me bring in a second copy of the notice two months (60 days) before I was moving out because they told me they had «lost» the first one and when I came in tried to talk me into renewing my lease. I OWE NOTHING, I paid in full on time through the terms of my lease and now they have a collection company after me for a fine I DEFINATELY DO NOT OWE. Do not move here, they will get you any way they can and will lie and «loose» important paperwork then try to blackmail you using your good credit as hostage to pay them money you do not owe them! STAY AWAY.

I was young and dumb enough to sign a lease with these people without doing a walk through. Which they denied me of! The apartment was completely filled with roaches from left to right in and out. I kid you not it was disgusting! The staff was beyond unprofessional. The manager said I was «f*****g» crazy because I put in a complaint and said that was inhabitable space to live in. Let me mind you that in the Texas state tenant law section 25 states «You accept the apartment, fixtures, and furniture as is, EXCEPT for conditions materially affecting the health of any ordinary persons.» Section 31 states the Responsibility Of Owner «substantially comply with all applicable laws regarding safety, sanitation, and fair housing.» I have every right to refuse to live there especially if I overheard your manager tell the leasing agent «she is f******g crazy!» because I told her that was a unacceptable living space. She never once bothered to offer me another unit and said that there was nothing she could do for the infestation since I had already signed the lease. Upon our disagreement I asked for a copy of my lease and she refused to give me a copy, I also asked for the corporate office information and she refused to give me any information what so ever. Under the Texas law as a tenant I am entitled to know who the name and address of the landlord (the actual owner of the property) and also entitled to know the name and address of the management company if the landlord has hired a separate company to manage to the property. They definitely do not follow any laws as they should. I am actually in the process of suing JRK which is the corporate company for denying me of any information that I am entitled to. I would not recommend this place to any one what so ever under ANY circumstances. THEY ARE RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE! DO NOT RENT HERE… EVER!

These are the worse apartment I have ever lived in. The customer service is terrible. I have never been talked down to so badly by a professional before. The woman was rude, demeaning, and would not listen to any of my concerns. Where do I begin… Cockroaches are endless! They are all over the apartment in every corner and every cabinet and every drawer! I cant leave anything on the counter even for a second without a cockroach coming out and I have to throw everything away. All my spoons and plates and cups are washed and then put in big Tupperware to keep them out of the filthy cabinets. ALSOOOO My son was attacked out in the parking lot, he was tasered, robbed, and left on the ground down the stairs from our «home». A police report was filed and now every time we walk in or out we fear for our lives. Villages of Copperfield is not being caring or cooperative and made us feel completely unwelcomed. I do not recommend anyone to live here ever!
