I am sooooo sad that Buffalo Wings N Things has closed. My husband and I have been coming here for 15 years and are truly heart broken. We will miss not only the BEST wings on earth but the staff and the atmosphere, especially around football season. You will be missed.

A loyal customer for 20 years. I am so sorry to hear my favorite wing restaurant closing. I guess I will have to trek back to Florida to get good wings again. Will miss you!

By far the best buffalo wings in Orange County. I’ve eaten here since I was child. This is my benchmark for delicious wings done right. I can’t believe they’re closing down. The thought of people going to a chain spot for their wings truly saddens me. Anyone that’s eaten here knows that the wings at places like wing stop or buffalo wings wings don’t even compare. I guess I’m writing this review in hopes somehow they’ll decide to keep it open or someone will take it over and continue serving Huntington Beach their amazing wings.

Having eaten here for the last 26 years, it kills me to see this place close. Many friends, many memorable nights. A ton of wings. Endless fries and potato things. Endless amounts of Coors Light consumed. Wings n Things will be missed.

Yum yum yum… best wings ever. The curly fries are pretty good as well, if you like french fries. Try the wings with garlic gives them an extra kick.

Wow totally surprised when coming here. Didn’t want to be rude so we didn’t leave but this is not what we expect of «wings n things» «wing stop» ««Buffalo Wild Wings» or restaurant of the like. It’s very hole in the wall run down place that use styrofoam plates. But the food is pretty yummy

Been a loyal customer to Wings n Things. It was suprising to be told that the carrots and breadsticks would be an additional charge. Asked for dine-in and recieved food to-go with no napkins or utensils. Felt unwelcoming. I prefer their other locations.

The service was outstanding. Very cheery an pleasant. The beer was ice cold that’s the reason for 3 stars. The food, well it sucked. Tiny flavorless little dry wings. I was speechless but I felt bad for the server so I didn’t complain. I was there on a Friday night at 7pm. There was only 1 other party of 4 in this place. That should’ve been the tip off right there. No business on a Friday night. You’ve probably got some issues that need to be worked out. I will go back and try a different food item only because the server was awesome.

I’ve been going here my entire life, and never have I been disappointed. Don keeps the menu traditional and that’s what keeps everyone coming back. The medium wings and curly fries are great and the specials on Wednesdays are what make wings n things so memorable.

I have been coming here for most of my life, and the hot wings(original) and curly fries continue to be the only ones I’ll eat in Orange County. Once, when I was five, I fell on my way into the restaurant, and ended up with a heavily bleeding scalp wound. My parents gave me the option of going to the ER, or eating first, then going. Guess which one I chose? I remember our waitress was very good about supplying me with extra towels for all the blood. It’s that good, is what I’m saying. Just this weekend, my boyfriend’s family took him – we were a big party of twelve, and the service(and food) were great. I recommend staying away on game day though, as everyone comes out to watch big games on the restaurant’s big screen.

I’ve been here a few times because I am an avid wing eater. It’s a modest looking place with decent food and prices. The wings are good. I’ve always gotten mild-hot(depending on how I’m feeling) buffalo and garlic wings. They’re cooked to perfection: drenched in sauce, but still crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My issue with the wings is that the buffalo and garlic always taste the same to me, no matter what spice level I get. The wings are also a bit small in comparison to most places, but they make up for that in quality. Pair your wings with a side of curly fries and you got yourself a classic and delicious meal! I’ve seen specials for other wing flavors like parmesan garlic and teriyaki wings which I have yet to try. I like this place, but there’s room for improvement.

I’ve come here on occasions in the past and am really disappointed. It’s a small mom and pop shop and the food is pretty good. I ordered a large basket of wings and jalepeno poppers for my wife and I. I got home and found the SMALLEST jalepeno poppers I’ve ever seen. They were actually awesome tasting but I felt like I was eating a small popcorn bite. We then opened up the wings, still starving… the most pathetic little things I’ve ever see in my life. You could have given me 6 real size wings and I would of been more full/satisfied. Along with the size, 90% of each piece is bone. So here I am. Spent too much money on a meal that wouldn’t of even filled myself up if I was eating alone. Super over it! No value.

This is my first time ordering from this place. I ordered chicken tenders for delivery. The chicken was cooked in burnt fry oil(which they don’t replace) and at wrong temperature(too cold) probably because they use frozen chicken. The batter was dark brown and soaked in oil. The oil soaks in if the temperature isn’t right in the fryer. My take out container, the chicken and all the napkins outside of the container were dripping with oil. It was really disgusting.

Atmosphere: casual medium sized restaurant Ordered items: large order of wings or giant medium Don’t you dare walk in any time around they are about to close, we walked in at 8:47 they close at 9:00 on Sunday’s. I’m assuming we were half ass rudely greeted by the owner, an older man, I made a statement before we walked in that we can take it togo since they would be closing soon and before I stepped foot in door this man barked at me that I should take it Togo because they are closing soon. So this being my first time that alone I should of walked out but I wanted wings and drove to this location so might as well try what I was rudely treated for. The man seemed to be in a rush and irritated that I was in his presence so I felt the need to rush, I just ordered the first thing on the menu that I saw. Once the wings were done they were thrown at us which caused the sauce to leak out of the bottom so it drenched the bottom on the bag. THEONLYREASONWHYTHISESTABLISHMENTISGETTING2STARSISBECAUSETHEIRWINGSAREGOOD(not good enough to go back and endure horrible customer service). I will never ever ever return here sadly because I did enjoy the hot wings, not the horrible grumpy old man

Buffalo Wings ‘N Things brings a piece of Buff City to us here on the South Coast. Having recently made the pilgrimage to the birthplace of both Buffalo Wings and the legendary sandwich known as Beef on Weck, I have nominated myself a professional of sorts on the gauging of both delicacies. Dan H. mentioned he knew of a place in HB where I could calibrate my new found Wings and Weck skills on the authenticity of both storied cold weather food items while washing it down with beer. Of course I was down for this. A Beef on Weck(for the uninitiated) is made with roast beef on a kummelweck roll. The meat on the sandwich is traditionally served rare, thin cut, with the top bun getting a dip in au jus. Charlie the Butcher’s in Buffalo, NY has a Beef on Weck sandwich that will leave you feeling like you just had a drunkards moment of clarity and is possibly the best thing I have ever ordered in Buffalo. As for Buffalo Wings ‘N Things take, well it was a bit disappointing. The bread was too dry(need to up your Au Jus game guys!) and required extra sides of Au jus to get the job done. The kummelweck roll was missing the right amount of salt. Also, the Beef was far too done for a real deal Weck. I would pass on this sandwich next time around but I was glad to have the familiar flavor combination all the same. The Wings on the other hand were credible, maybe even a tribute to Anchor Bar or Duff’s! Where Buffalo Wings ‘N Things nails it is on the texture of the skin. The skin should absorb the sauce, yet the Wing should not be wet to the touch as we are accustomed to in SoCal. The sauce is also first class and thanks to the availability of different heat levels, everyone can get in on the Wing action. The mouthfeel and textures are spot on and I cannot think of a better Wing in OC. If you know of a contender(Wings or Beef on Weck) please, hit me up! Danimal H. came through as usual for finding a great spot to down some beers while noshing on the best SoCal has to offer and isn’t that was Unilocal is all about? 4 Stars of FUNK.

I have a best bud that used to live in OC but grew up in Buffalo, where surprise surprise Buffalo Wings were invented. He loved this place and vouched for the authenticity of the wings, and even their beef on weck. Beef on weck is a sandwich rarely found outside of the greater Buffalo area, and I loved it at 1st bite back in the day.
Tom moves out of state and BWNT’s drops off of my radar, save for the odd stop when in the area. Well recently a Unilocal bud visits the actual birthplace of both the wings and beef on weck, and a trip here was agreed upon. Of course there are the usual arguments on which place deserves more of the credit, but he was not disappointed in the BWNT’s versions. I don’t want to steal his thunder when he gets around to writing his review, so I will leave it at that. Since I have not been to the Holy Land of wings and beef on weck, and have BWNT’s as my only sampling of Buffalo bar food, all I can say is both the BOW, and the wings are very tasty, especially the wings. Rather small, but a nice crisp outer and moist meat within. Even the blue cheese dipping sauce is worthy. I wish the roast beef was rarer, but not sure that option is available. This is a VERY casual place, so no need to dress up, come as you are. Our waitress was very cheery, and there whenever we needed her. The owner is a low key fellow, but friendly enough, and is not even from Buffalo. He revealed he is actually from Brooklyn. Upon hearing that I jokingly exclaimed he should be making some Brooklyn style pizza. I was shocked when he said he had never heard of Grimaldi’s, the most famous of all Brooklyn pizzerias. We had a good enough time that I will put BWNT’s back on my radar for future sports watchin stops.

Came here a couple of times long ago for football game watching. I haven’t been back here in like over ten years. A homage to Buffalo sports teams. Probably why I never returned for so long. Same crummy football team. Still looks about the same. And I can’t say the food has changed much either. Stopped in for a quick snack with my son after a Sunday afternoon basketball game. We ordered a few Items to share. Jalapeño Poppers … sliced jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese battered and deep fried with ranch dipping sauce. The poppers sure tasted like the frozen Costco ones to me. No heat and a bland pepper taste. 2**Stars Onion Straws … Battered and fried onion pieces with ranch dipping sauce WTF these were more like the burnt crap that you fish out of the deep fryer after you’re done cooking onion rings. 1*Star Hot wings … fried wings with a hot Buffalo sauce and blu cheese dressing for dippin. These wings are done right! Crispy on the outside tender inside and the buffalo sauce is very authentic tasting. My only knock is the size. These were more like sparrow wings. 3.5***Stars The place was empty the whole time we were there. Our server checked on us a couple times and refilled sons soda. The bathrooms were recently redone so they were nice the rest of the place looked to be stuck in the early 90’s when the Buffalo Bills were chumps of 2nd place! 3.5***Stars I may come back for a football game if the World Champion Oakland Raiders are playing! Raider facts: The team has won fifteen division titles(three AFL and twelve NFL), three Super Bowls, four AFC titles(1976, 1980, 1983, and 2002) and an AFL Championship. Thirteen former members of the team have been enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
