Dunkin’ is Dunkin’. It’s relatively inexpensive breakfast food and coffee. This location is small. I’m not even sure if there is sitting room. But the workers are nice enough. Frankly, this is a boring review. But you can see my full experience at my blog:

Just visiting the area and stopped off to get a drink. Seemed pretty busy but the line moved quickly. Lady who took our order was awesome and even gave us a little extra because it was such a hot day. Sometimes the small things count.

Worst Dunkin ever. Slow as molasses, and then when you finally get your order, it’s usually wrong. The coffee tastes like cigarette butts mixed with aluminum shavings. So nasty.

The quality of Dunkin Donuts is pretty much the same anywhere so I wont bore you with that. The only thing really to write about is the fact that this location as zero seating; so if you’re looking to sit down and enjoy your coffee, move it along.

This DD is right by my house so it is very convenient. Sure the service is sort of sluggish and not exactly peppy like you might find in a more frequented DD downtown but there are a few characters that you run into in this particular store. I absolutely love a few of the employees, there aren’t very many so you end up getting to know each other a little bit. They are very friendly and kind and bring a smile to my face. The coffee and food have always been up to the typical DD standard, not stellar but ultimately hits the spot. Maybe I just love iced coffee but every iced coffee I get at this location tastes wonderful! I go to this DD not for the quick service or the amazing quality food and drink(it’s dunkin donuts after all…) but for the familiar faces and the friendly staff. There is also a parking lot that is shared by a few other stores in this strip. Bottom line, we all expect DD to be a well oiled impersonal machine that pumps out bagels and delicious coffees. What this location lacks in well-oiledness it makes up for in its staff and local flavor.

Apparently things haven’t changed in 2 years.. . and that makes this Dunkin’ Donuts lack of efficient service a very sad thing. Walked in here in hangover mode after a late night concert in Boston. Walked a good distance in fact, because parking here is almost non-existent. Spend more money driving around trying to find a spot than it does to buy the donut you came for. Like I said, hangover. Here’s what I had on my mind, Sausage Egg & Cheese on a plain bagel and a kid’s size Vanilla Bean Coolata. Rounding the corner my stomach starts to settle with the thought of food.…subsequently my jaw dropped with the length of the line. S L O W. Ughhh. Thankfully this is not a regular stop of mine so I don’t have to deal with it on a more than frequent basis. Eventually got the food I ordered. With the amount of people working you’d think they would get things going! But apparently they each have their separate job.. . why work together to get things done? This location needs to figure itself out so people can enjoy the in & out nature that accompanies most DD’s. To my happiness, the sandwich was warm and delicious.. . my coolata, cool, refreshing, and extremely tasty :)

I thought the Dunkins located in Faneuil Hall was the worst… but I was wrong. This one is! I go to this dunkins pretty much every weekend because I can hit it with a rock from my apartment and I’m lazy but this past weekend was the last straw. How many times do I have to say: Large tea, extra milk, sugar before they can get it right?! FOUR apparently. I had already said it twice when the woman asked me if I wanted CREAM! AREYOUKIDDINGME@#$^#()^#^ Just put some hot water in a cup with milk and I’ll do the fucking sugar myself! This dunkins is also really awkward in the way it’s set up leaving no space for a line to form… but there is always a line! And people here do not seem to not understand the concept of personal space or the fact that there is a line and it’s not a free for all and if you even TRYTOCUTME I WILLHURTYOU! I’m just a little angry.

America Runs on Dunkins… unless you visit this DD in JP… there isn’t anything fast about this place. The employees at this location are about as fast as an armless cripple stuck in a wheelchair with the wheels in the locked position. Now, don’t get me wrong. The ladies who work here are VERY nice, maybe TOO nice. They are all about being friendly but not about getting me my damned iced coffee and reduced carb bagel(which for some reason are small and stale here) in a timely manner. And yes, politeness is great, but when it’s nearin’ noon and my hangover is about to crest, the last thing I want is chit chat… NOWGIVEMEMYDAMNCOFFEE. If you come here like I do every weekend, expect to wait in line. Even though there are at least 4 people behind the counter, their method of ‘efficiency’ is completely the opposite. Two girls behind registers, one girl running drinks, and the fourth waiting by the toaster for a bagel order to come in. There is no breaking from this routine. If I order a muffin, bagel girl has a 5 minute break. If I’m done paying, register girl gets a break. There is no teamwork that gets the line moving. Instead everyone seems to do their job and then stop moving… or chit chat. Don’t talk to me, get me my DAMNCOFFEE. And one final note, the parking is ridiculous. There are about 20 spots for 10 stores. Prepare to drive in circles and swerve out of the way of crazy JP drivers who decide to park themselves on top of curbs and maple trees. *1.08.08 Edit* I think this place is under new or improved management. Increasing rating from 1 to 3 stars. Lately I’ve noticed some new staff including a manager-looking fellow behind the counter. Service has improved all around and I applaud that. GOLFCLAP!
