Not good at all. This place has really bad customer service. Came there to buy a few personal items like socks, etc. They had literally nothing. Looked in the electronics section for some nice headphones, nothing. Just cheap looking gear. This store looks very dated as well. Nothing has changed here since I was a little girl. The ceiling tiles are yellow and aged. And the listing is dim, looks very depressing inside. Would not recommend coming here!

Worst customer svc ever, avoid, avoid, avoid. Systems are not in place, had to return something and they could not track in system, how’s that possible.

Not only is the location here pretty off the map(not their fault), but the place is clearly never seen an update since the early 90s(they still have a sign inside asking people not to smoke for the comfort of other customers!). The customer service desk was riddled with angry customers– I can not attest to whether they were legitimate in their displeasure though. Heres what I can tell you, which sucks: I wanted to buy a rug online, and pick up in the store. Online, it noted that there was a rug INSTOCK at this particular location. However, before hitting«buy» theres no note of when I can pick it up. So I called, and spoke to a woman who put me on hold to verify that the rug was indeed in the store. After about 5 – 7 minutes she was back, told me that she had located the rug and I could place the order and come in about an hour. She said to make sure I just had my order number. This was great since I have no car, and was moving from CT to NJ so I had my family to help, for one day only. We went the next morning and was told that not only do they not have the carpet but that its being shipped and it looked like theres no eta on when I could pick it up. I explained my frustration with this, and the situation at hand. Why should I have to be the only one feeling this burden? Did the woman on the phone straight up lie?(The answer I was told was yes, but they didnt care at all about that). I gave an option to just return the rug so I can have a merch credit to buy other moving supplies in the store right then(again, only time id ever be able to come to this store). I was told that they wouldnt even do that. So, its Tuesday, 5 days later… Still no idea where the rug is. My money is gone– cant return, and Ill never be able to pick up the rug. Ive never been quite this upset with a large chain before. Ill be certain anyone who mentioned Kmart or Sear shopping is made aware that they should NOT shop there.

Non-existent customer service. Asked an employee to check something for me – and she didn’t move. Instead she asked me if I didn’t look at the products closely enough while I was in the aisle. Then, on leaving the security guard gave us a hassle because one person was holding the bags while the other had the receipt. It’s obvious that this Kmart’s employees don’t care what impression they leave on customers-so we’re not going back.

Attention Kmart Shoppers — This Place Sucks! I remember when I was a kid, and every weekend my mom would take the kids here. Back then, Kmart was considered a great place to shop. My, how things have changed, and not for the better. It was really sad coming in here today. You walk in, and the crack security guard is just sitting there reading a newspaper. There is no one else by the front entrance, greeting people as they enter. I was on the lookout for socks and it took me about 20 minutes to find them. I figured that they would be in the Mens section. I walked thru there once, twice, even a third time and nothing. And it’s not like I could’ve asked for help because there was absolutely no one around. So I goto the Shoe section, figuring socks go with shoes so there is a chance they’ll be there. Nope, not at all. You know where they turned out to be? In the Accessories section, where they have hair pins, scrunchies and anything and everything not related to socks. But there they were. It’s always sad seeing a store that you loved as a kid slowly start to die before your very eyes. But alas, that is what’s happening with Kmart. And I, for one, won’t be sorry to see it go.
