Amazing Sockeye Salmon complimented by an awesome Flathead IPA! Great selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes.

Watch the chefs if you want to see how little they do to keep their stations and themselves sanitary. I watched them touch raw meat and then veggies, they didn’t wash their hands once from what I saw. The menu and the food isn’t bad but the overall lack of sanitation is too much to overcome

OMG. What an amazing morning at the Blue Canyon. The staff is friendly and give great service. The buffet was always full and never had to what. Yes, a bit spendy but sooooooo well worth it. A beautiful experience.

Mothers Day Brunch… good food wasn’t as «Fancy» as I thought it be and it was a little spendy $ 77 + tip for two. Food was good .good verity. and the Eggs Benedict was yummy although I would prefer a thicker sauce

Worst service I have ever had sitting at the bar. No one greets you, and then when they finally notice you are there, they are in such a hurry to get your order. It was not a busy Saturday night and they had trouble even getting a beer. I don’t mind paying the prices that are way too high, if there is good service to go with it.

We had a family trip to Kalispell so decided to eat here. So the $$ can easily be made into $$$ depending on what you order. We all had the Wed. Prime Rib special which was very good and a full meal for $ 32 bucks. Overall the prime rib was excellent and the sides were good too. If you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn next door they will throw you bunch of extra Hilton points and you can put it on your hotel bill too. We actually ate there twice, second time my wife had a NY steak which was good not great and I had a burger which was overcooked but they brought me a new one that was prefect. You can get pub grub type of stuff here for cheaper or go high end with steaks and red wines but it will cost you.

Loved eating here, it was a quiet place with great food. On Tuesdays there is a special on pitchers of margaritas and tacos in the tavern. Place kind of has a log cabin feel, with a few beautiful elk mounted high on the walls and the chairs and tables look nice and are comfortable.

What a find. Taco Tuesday is a must do but any night of the week the Elk Meatloaf is fabulously delicious. We also tried the Pike, equally delicious for those who fancy fish. The décor is so Montana with so much charm. Desserts, great variety and delicious. This is a must.

I had a really good dining experience here. Server was fast and friendly. I ordered the surf and turf, which was excellent. I’m singing them a star because there were a number of menu items(that I wanted) that were not available that evening.

My husband and I ate here because we were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn and it was convenient. The smell of smoke was strong upon entering(there is a casino off to the side), so that’s a drawback for me. We were seated promptly and our server was friendly and welcoming. My Belvedere martini started our meal on the right foot. Our salad was fine, but average. We split the Filet Oscar. It was cooked well(medium rare) and we had no complaints. This was a solid dining experience for the convenience. We were tired and not disappointed.

The atmosphere in this place is awesome very clean the people were very friendly and the food was fantastic. My steak was prepared perfectly and the salads are amazing. We like food with taste to it and this absolutely fulfilled that to the highest.

This is certainly some of the better food, service, ambiance, and overall dining experience you can have in Kalispell. The food is excellent and a nice variety, I’d call it «Montana fancy» if you will. The price per plate can vary from $ 12-$ 35 depending on your taste. A great cheaper option is to ask for the bar menu or go sit in the bar area which is equally as nice just more simple bar style seating(ie. booths, high tops, bar). This is one of my favorite date spots, food is always consistent and service is top notch.

Having eaten here for a book club meeting I was not impressed. Some friends asked my husband and I to meet for an early dinner last week. The fish tacos looked good but were a big disappointment. My husband had the pecan crusted cod and he was not impressed. It’s not a cheap spot and the food lacks taste. The best looking entrée was the fried chicken with macaroni and cheese. We all tasted the macaroni and cheese and agreed it had the best flavor of all our meals. I would not recommend Blue Canyon for dinner,

$ 30 prime rib special? Are you a steakhouse? No. Why in the world would you charge $ 30 for something that other establishments on the same level as you can do for around $ 10 – 15. What a joke!

Just come for dessert. The ambiance is great. Our server was very nice. We were a party of 9, and it wasn’t busy in a Saturday night, and it was still slow to get our food. We got some appetizers — calamari(okay), jalepeno poppers(okay,) hummus(good,) blue cheese chips(fine.) My husband’s steak(the surf and turf special) was overdone and seemed small compared to the other same dish ordered by other people at the table. Weird! I got the short ribs, and the meat was not good. Very chewy and hard to get off the bone. :(I liked the noodles and their flavor. I don’t think anyone particularly enjoyed their entrée, sadly. The desserts were super. The chocolate bomb, the bread pudding — both delicious! Just get those!

$ 15 corkage fee for bringing a birthday cake to birthday party! Yes, you read correctly, they(Blue Canyon) actually charged me $ 15 for providing my friends with birthday cake. One would think that bringing 23 people to a bar, on a Monday night, would be met with gratitude not a $ 15 fee. That’s 23 more people than they would have normally had on a Monday night and we all bought multiple drinks, and many of us bought food. I estimate that we generated well over $ 300 for the Blue Canyon and a $ 15 corkage fee for bringing in a birthday cake, that I even had to serve to my friends, is how they show their appreciation for this? I have a singles group here in town, which currently has 259 members, and we’re always looking for a bar to have a meetup in. Do you think there is ANY possibility of me returning to the Blue Canyon with my group in the future? They showed me how much they appreciated me bringing my group to their bar by charging me a $ 15 «corkage» fee and I will show my appreciation for them by never returning. They made and extra $ 15 off me, but have lost much, much more in future potential revenue.
