Worst service ever, had to remind server to make our salads and 45 minutes later no entrée, what else can I say biscuits are good about to fill up on them… ho hum…

This place has really gone down hill over the years. They sat us next to one of the registers and we had to listen to employees stand around and talk the whole time we ate. My husband ordered an appetizer as a meal and it was stone cold when it came out. My shrimp was just ok. This was an expensive dinner for our family and was supposed to be a holiday treat. Would have enjoyed seafood at Perkins more!

I felt like I was very rushed. The waiter I had was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there and I was a burden. Food took a very long time. I only had one refill on my beverage because the waiter would never stop by and ask me how I was doing. The food smelled better than it tasted

On Labor Day, we decided to treat ourselves to Red Lobster, on Barry Road. We sat at the bar, as there was a 15 minute wait, for a table. Kirby was our bartender and server. We got excellent service, from her! The food was excellent and cooked, to our specifics. I could not have been more impressed.

A very good experience here on our visit. I’m pretty particular when it comes to eating, fish especially. I don’t eat any kind of shellfish, not out of medical reasons, just that I don’t care for it. Red Lobster is a place known for their shellfish, particularly lobster and shrimp. So I have to dig into a menu at places like this to find things I want to eat. What I do enjoy about a place like Red Lobster is the fact they also have plenty of fish on their menu. They always have a ‘catch-of-the-day’ type menu that usually has salmon, talapia, trout and other fish on it to try, so I’m never at a loss for what to eat. My wife loves the Coconut Shrimp here and almost always orders that when we visit. This particular Red Lobster is better than most we have visited. We caught them on a very slow time(3pm on a Monday) and it was pretty empty, but that is not the usual. We have passed this place and seen it quite busy. It is huge, with a lot of seating. I can’t say I have seen a Red Lobster bigger. Since we were one of maybe 2 – 3 couples here, our server was wonderful and attentive. To get a fair assessment, I’d have to see when they are busy. Our experience was great. It will likely be different from yours if you are visiting during a busy time.

Well, they make you sign a sheet saying you received everything when you get a togo order. Great idea if you pay attention when they rush you through everything… which is impossible to do. We got two entrees, one was missing potatoes the other was missing vegetables. I figured if they were making you sign a sheet the order had to be correct… I was wrong and I left a nice tip because I know they typically do a lot of work putting the orders together… not this time. Never again.

Just visited had the lobster dip as an appetizer and then a Bahama Mama as a beverage. I had the coconut shrimp and salmon to eat and my girlfriend had shrimp scampi, shrimp linguini, and the fried shrimp. Everything was delicious. We tried to kidnap a lobster but even though they would not let us kidnap a lobster we definitely enjoyed our time.

Came here for dinner tonight and it was absolutely HORRIBLE!!! Our waiter was by far the worst. He never helped us unless we actually stopped him for something… the food standards was so not what they used to be. It was cold non filling and just bad. Definitely not going back to this one.

We ate here because we in a time crunch and it was close by. Neither of us had been to a red lobster in years and decided to give it another shot. The food was just ok. I had the potato soup which was good and my boyfriend had the clam chowder. He said it didn’t really have any clam and there were shell pieces in the chowder so he gave up on eating it. We tried the lobster tacos and the lobster pizza as the entrees but weren’t really impressed.

Upon walking to the entrance, there were about 4 workers standing right by the door smoking and talking to each other. One of them grabbed the door and welcomed me to the restaurant. I’m not sure if that is a designated smoking area, but that’s probably something that customers don’t want to see when walking up to the door. As soon as I walked in, a molded smell hit me. I wondered how the quality of the food would be since the restaurant had a smell to it, but decided to stay since it was getting late and I didn’t want to search for something else last minute. I was craving lobster, so I decided to go with the lobster tacos. I was expecting a basic taco filled with crumbles of lobster meat in them, but they actually came out with a lot of meat and a really good sauce on top. My friend had the lobster bisque, that didn’t have quite as much lobster meat, but it was still pretty tasty. The waitress was nice and attentive, the food was good, but the restaurant itself could do a little improving. Walking in to the low lighting with the smell of the restaurant gave a feeling that it wasn’t very clean. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The new sriracha shrimp isn’t all that, but the usuals are still good. Bennie is always a great server.

I generally enjoy Red Lobster franchises, but this one is terrible in every way. We ordered calimari as an appetizer; it tasted like it was fried in stale oil. Our salads came, and it appeared they rinsed the lettuce and forgot to dry it, as there was a half inch of water in the bottom of our salad bowls! I had a chicken dish(I know, curses for ordering chicken at a seafood place), and it tasted just like the cheap frozen«grilled» chicken breasts you can buy at a grocery store, microwaved. In addition, the service was terribly slow and inattentive. The server acted as if we were inconveniencing her when we asked for refills(after our cups had been sitting empty for 15 minutes).

Red Lobster, a well known American dine-in chain restaurant, is a place I never paid any attention to. Nothing really interesting called out to me as it blended in among other well known chains. I was in a for an unexpected, yet pleasant shock as I ventured into my first Red Lobster restaurant. Situated in a desolate & abandoned shopping center along Barry Road, anyone can easily pass by this place without even knowing it existed. The interior of the restaurant is a bit dark for my taste. The fish tank filled with tied up lobsters was quite sad looking. Nonetheless, the hostess was all smiles and friendly as she quickly sat us at a booth. Service was exceptionally well, a definite plus as most chain restaurants usually have subpar service. Our server introduced himself, answered all our questions, knowledgeable about the menu, and checked in every so often. This was the first unexpected plus for the night. As for the menu, I will be short and say it revolves around seafood with a few other options. They have an enticing meal for two that is $ 30 which includes two salads, one appetizer, and two entrées. Add $ 5 more for the shared dessert. They also have a 4 course meal for $ 16 per person but I found the meal for two had better entrée selections, so we went with this option. –The Caesar was okay, nothing too fancy. –The buffalo chicken bites were above average, nice spicy kick. On a side note, here is where I found Derek to be an outstanding server as he informed us about the blue cheese crumbs and whether we prefer having it on top or on the side. –A new dish, the ginger salmon with pineapple salsa was quite good. I loved the pineapple salsa and the salmon was cooked well. The sun-dried tomatoes felt a little out of place for me. –The chocolate lava cookie is Red Lobster’s version of a BJ’s pizookie(warm cookie with a scoop of ice cream on top if you do not know what BJ’s Restaurant is). It tasted great but I was expecting the chocolate to ooze out like a lava cake, however, it was over baked and therefore the chocolate was already solid when splitting in half. Overall, I was glad that I finally dined at a Red Lobster. The food was great and the service made it outstanding. I’d recommend coming here during Lobster fest as it seems to be a big thing here.

I had quite a pleasant experience at Red Lobster. Who woulda thunk it? Growing up, this place was reserved for special occasions or lunch after church. After all these years I’ve finally come back to the same location I had gone to as a child, and man was I thoroughly satisfied with how it has changed. First of all the the service is TOP-NOTCH. Right away the greeter was really nice and friendly. Right when I thought we had found the best worker in the place, Derek, our server was incredible! Haven’t had a server quite memorable as him. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the food and answered all my questions quite promptly. Oh and did I say already that he looks like THEALEXSMITH from the Kansas City Chiefs? haha we even called him that before we left with our happy bellies :) Anyway let’s get to the food! We got the dinner for two(Only $ 29.99! what a steal!) that came with two side salads, appetizer or dessert(you can get both for only $ 4.99 more!), and two entrees. OMG first off… I almost got too full before the main dishes, because of the UNLIMITED cheddar bay biscuits. They are to die for! But don’t go over board or else you won’t be able to eat later haha Ceasar Salad: pretty standard, not much to say. haha Spicy Buffalo Chicken Bites: had a great nice spicy kick to it AND it made me a believer in blue cheese. I’ve always stayed away from this wretched cheese but they made me like it especially paired with buffalo chicken! I like it when chicken stays crunchy despite being drenched in sauce :) Chili-Ginger Salmon with Pineapple Salsa(Fresh grilled salmon served over wild rice pilaf and green beans): Salmon was cooked pretty well, I wasn’t too excited about it, because the rice turned me off.(lol I get so picky when it comes to rice, because I usually eat jasmine steamed white rice) Peppercorn-Grilled Sirloin with Portobello Wine Sauce(Served over mashed potatoes and green beans): Got mine cooked medium rare, like I always get my steak and I was quite happy with it. I love cows… lol. The sauce was delicious. I loved how Red Lobster really improved their presentation! I remember it as more of an applebees type place, but they’ve upped their game! Warm Chocolate Chip Lava Cookie: Perfect dessert to end the dinner! It was warm and gooey in the center topped off with a vanilla ice cream. YUM! Can’t Wait to come back!!! Make sure you get Derek AKA Alex Smith doppelgänger as your server! Lol also check out the pix I put up on Unilocal to see the how mouthwatering they look! :) :) :) Happy Eating!

This place has improved leaps and bounds, from the service to the food to the management. I expressed our good experience to the service manager, she was appreciative of the feedback and thanked us for giving them another chance. We hadn’t been there for over 3 yrs after a bad experience we had with the food. We are definitely going back and happy we have a Red Lobster on the menu again. Keep up the good work Alice Stull!

Well, the cheesy biscuits are still good. The service was also fine. We popped in to this location and I had the Salmon New Orleans. Nothing about it reminded me of the Big Easy, and I lived there for a year, post-Katrina. The fish was alright… *meh*. It is what I’ve come to expect from a chain: reliable, but nothing special.

We rarely go to a Red Lobster but to beat the heat the kids and I went out. Little man was super happy they had mac-n-cheese with a side of orange wedges. My daughter ordered the kids crab legs and they weren’t exactly cooked perfectly so she had a hard time digging the yummy crab out of the shell. It’s hard to cook crab legs perfectly, but when it’s your job maybe you should… just sayin’. So I knocked off 2 stars. It’s that serious. My big son and I got the 2 for $ 25 dinner special and loved our Caesar salads and the mozzarella stick app. He wasn’t that impressed with the honey shrimp and wished he had gotten something else. I liked my seafood linguini although I ignored just how many calories I might be consuming. The star of all Red Lobster visits is the Cheddar Bay Biscuit and this was no exception. They’re like crack. I brought a whole basket(6) home. Please don’t tell me how bad they are for me… I don’t want to know!

Nice service and good food! — the cheesy biscuits are freaking amazing… And unlimited. — we’ve try to get there around 5. Getting there much later and you will have a wait. — Their combination plates(which come with deserts) are a good value… good portion sizes.
