Great place and atmosphere for meeting friends, a business meeting or a spot to unwind after a long day. The staff is great and they have a drink or snack for most any type of taste bud. Get the acai bowl. Don’t ask any questions just get one! Lol

Upon leaving the gym today, I was hungry but wanted something healthy. I must say though — it’s really hard to get me excited about eating healthy. I’m a picky eater and other places who add tons of sugar and fake ingredients to their smoothies just don’t cut it.
I was pleased to find this place on Unilocal,not too far from my gym. It’s located on an awkward corner in Westport but they have designated «11 minute parking» for running in and grabbing something on the go.
The workers were friendly and asked me if I had any food allergies prior to making my smoothie (a green dream). I watched them add fresh fruits and veggies in the blender — no sugars or weird liquids I couldn’t recognize. I also ordered 2 hard boiled eggs which I love because I always crave something to sink my teeth into after replacing a meal with a smoothie. They offer an extensive menu full of dietary-​restriction-​friendly options. I feel like anyone can find something delicious here, even if you don’t want a juice or smoothie.
I think I may start working out more if a treat from Ruby Jeans is going to be my motivation! Thank you for making healthy food enjoyable and exciting!

Wow it’s really good y’all! And better yet good for you. Living in California I’ve become accustomed to juices, both cold press and smoothies. Kale is a way of life in LA. It’s awesome that I can come home and balance my Gates with fresh juice! Lol but, really kudos to Ruby Jeans and the strides they are making for a healthier KC. This will be on my list of places I must patronize when I’m home from now on.

A little expensive but worth it. Takes a bit of time to make so don’t come in a rush.

Amazing space with fantastic juice! Indoor seating with free iPad use and a courtyard for some fresh are seating. Great place for meetings.

I got a Berry Strong smoothie in the performance category and it was absolutely amazing. Overall, I will return as a customer sporadically due to high prices and a «pressured» tip process when checking out. Atmosphere ⁸⁄₁₀; food ¹⁰⁄₁₀; customer service ¹⁰⁄₁₀; prices ⁶⁄₁₀ (kinda high); music: ¹⁰⁄₁₀. Overall I’d give this place a 4.5 but since there isn’t that option, I rounded up.

I love being able to grab something that’s so healthy right in the middle of all the action in Westport. It’s the perfect boost and all the flavors are great! !

This was our first visit and thought the place was super cute. It’s a little hard to find since it’s right at an intersection and where the road splits off. You park on the road, there is no parking lot. The little building is white with some orange on it. Inside you can order smoothies or get some sweets out of the case. We were coming for the juice so we headed straight to the refrigerated case where they keep the bottled juices. They had about 4 or 5 different options. I tried a green juice called vine street greens and absolutely loved it! The price is better than another place we’ve been so that’s another win. The guy working that day was super friendly and chatted us up about road trips and driving through the area we grew up in. We’ll definitely be back for some more juice and try a smoothie the next time as well. :)

Fresh juice and incredible hospitality. The fruit juices are fresh squeezed, they have a very reasonably priced avocado toast, and they remembered our names first time after we came in.

Delicious juice. Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. And the owner is an amazing gentleman who has a passion for helping and encouraging others to live a healthy lifestyle.

It’s nice to be able to go home to Kansas City and not have to totally give in to horrible eating habits that I’ve banished living in LA. Ruby Jean’s was a very refreshing stop several times while I was home for the holidays. The Smoothies are great, and the cold press is top notch. The prices are about $ 2 dollars less that what I’d pay in LA. I say that to say if you can afford Starbucks, you can afford Ruby Jean’s! Drinking your healthy is a great way to keep on keeping on. I recommend this place and that is Southern California approved!

The avocado toast is life changing. Atmosphere is cool and inviting. I’ve had the orange pillow (juice) each time and enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to trying some of their other juices.

When you find a place that just makes you feel good to walk into it, you find yourself frequenting it more than the norm!
That’s Ruby Jeans for me! From the great vibe to the friendly service to the amazing smoothies, juices and oatmeal, they never let me down!

I’m giving this 3 stars for the ambiance and employee friendliness. Don’t get me wrong, there are many smoothies to choose from and you can alter them to your diet with ease. I just thought it was a bit pricey. It’s difficult to find, even with GPS. Also, there were just a bunch of guys hanging around which didn’t make me want to stay and drink my smoothie. Instead I opted to drink it in my car. I won’t be back but I’m glad I tried it :)
* I had the blueberry one made with almond milk and had a touch of Kale. It tasted great.

Such a cool, fun and hip place. My colleague and I zipped over for lunch and were we pleased! It has a peaceful, uplifting, free vibe. It was great to walk into such an upbeat well lit place. I loved the outdoor patio. Great venue + Great staff + Yummy healthy options = my new lunch and meeting place!
Skip meeting at Panera or Starbucks and go to Ruby Jean’s for a great place that you can actually hear each other. It felt great to support local but enjoy my meal.

Gotta love a place that can blend seven different ingredients into deliciousness. Ruby Jean’s is a colorful, cozy little spot on Broadway that has a nice selection of juices and smoothies for just about anybody.
I heard about it through Unilocal and bookmarked it. It seems like fresh juice spots in other cities are numerous, but there are only really a handful around KC. That’s all changing with more and more popping up, including Ruby Jean’s which opened this summer.
I parked right outside in a spot marked «The Port,» which is a gym that is actually attached to the juicery. Pretty easy in/​easy out on a Monday morning.
The staff was friendly and patient with me through my groggy A.M. haze as I stared blankly at their menu for seemingly 10 minutes. I ended up going with the Big Chief, which has strawberry, banana, agave and coconut milk. It’s definitely on the unadventurous side of juices but they still made it well and it hit the spot. Next time around, I’d opt for a green juice or something that packs a bit more punch.
I did have a bit of sticker shock as the smoothie came out to be about the price of a meal out. It definitely puts this in the «occasional visit» category for me, despite being so close.
TL:DR; Delicious juices and smoothies in a nice location, albeit a tad on the pricy side.

Cool venue. Love the ambiance. Free moveable space. Nice touch with the iPads at the sitting station.
Vine street and big chief were great refreshers to have after work.
Love the quaintness of the patio. Staff were cool and greeted us immediately upon entering. Will definitely be back to try the bites.

Smoothie Spree Chronicles — Part 5: Really cute shop with a gorgeous patio and colorful seating area, and very friendly owner/​employees. I ordered the green dream smoothie and it was delicious, but the only thing holding me back from giving five stars was the price. It ended up being over $ 7 with sales tax, which is a heftyyyy price tag for a 16 oz. drink. Very healthy, fresh ingredients though, and they just opened so I have high hopes for this place! I will definitely be back!

After my workout at The Port KC, I decided to come up for a drink. The staff quickly greeted me and asked what I would like, I stated that I’d need a bit more time to look over the menu. I decided that I wanted the Green Dream smoothie! Sadly, when I got to the counter I asked for the Veg-​Out juice. Doh! It is easy to get the two mixed up. The Veg-​Out was very fresh and refreshing! Although it wasn’t my style, and I would’ve preferred something a bit sweeter, I enjoyed my drink. They have a nice patio out front with great seating and games like jenga and corn hole. There is also an enclosed one once you step inside. It’s beautifulllll and I could definitely see me chilling out on this super zen patio. This place is very cool! I wish I had more time to hang out there today, but I was on the run. Will definitely be back after another workout!
