Panera Bread

So we ordered 6 Cinnamon Crunch bagels — which we love– online for rapid pickup. (Seriously, do not try to get something there without rapid pick up because they are slow!) Unfortunately, when we arrived and went to pick them up we had a note that said, «See manager.» We did, only to find out they don’t have any cinnamon crunch bagels. So they gave me a refund and the pastries I ordered.
Here’s an idea– When you run out of something, don’t let people order them online and pay for them. Update your system. Otherwise, your previous rating from said customer goes from a 4-​stars to a 2-​stars. And apparently on Unilocal,that’s the only that now counts from me.
So, I’m not the kind of person who leaves it at that for 2 stars. Your location is ridiculous (note to first timers at this location, this is an extremely hard location to get into.) Also, your service leaves a lot to be desired.

This location has THE worst service. We love Panera Bread. However, every time we go there, customer service is lacking, they don’t keep coffee out and ready, the wait is quite long, you have to remind them that they don’t have coffee.
Hire people who actually care!

I’ll admit this location has had a lot of ups and downs since opening. Food/​beverages are decent but I have yet to try the regular bakery items. If you’re in a rush, try coming during non peak hours for better service. Its a nice spot for a quite dinner surprisingly. Staff is still hit and miss but hopefully that will get better in time. I will say that if you’re used to the taste that comes with heavily seasoned and fatty food, you’re probably not going to like it here.

It took 3 cashier to take one women order. Her order wasn’t difficult they were all gossiping. Guessing the customer was a old coworker. They saw me and the line behind me but did not care.

Common Panera… Thought I would treat my co-​workers, so I order the baker’s dozen bagels. I was one of the first customers in line. I ask specifically for 6 cinnamon bagels, 2 blueberry, then another random 5. Since the words on the drive through menu are so tiny, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to read the flavors, I just trusted their judgment to give me a variety. I get there, they say they didn’t have blueberry. Ummm okay? What’s up with that? Anyway, I just said okay, please pick out a random variety. When I get to work, I look in the box, there is my 6 cinnamon, and 7 chocolate chip bagels. I mean REALLY? Is that what the words «random variety» mean to you? They were still eaten up, but I have gotten this deal many times over the years (from different locations) and they always know how to mix up the variety.
My second issue is that I asked for them to be sliced. When I check, a few of them had gone through a «portion» of the slicer. Meaning they had sides missing, but they were still unsliced.
Get your stuff together Panera…

Sandwich I had was ok. Tomato and mozzarella. Was only able to see but 2 small slices to mozzarella. Was more tomato. Which lucky I still liked. But the chicken noodle soup was warm and didn’t taste good but have to say bread was great
Staff was friendly and energetic. Not sure about the self serve kiosk. Might go back and try it.

This place is a bit pricey but it is conveniently located near my home, so I visit often. I like the sandwiches the most. The soufflé, muffin, and cookies are great. the cinnamon crunch bagel, toasted, sliced with hazelnut spreading is life itself!

Love their bagels! That’s it! It ends there. So I’m too pregnant and simply ordered a broccoli and cheese bread bowl… Got home I have soup and a bun. Thinking, Eh simple error. They said they will remake it. Called if I can pick it up early morning before I head out to work. They said anytime between 6:30am and 9pm. Get there at 8am before I head to work and they tell me that they don’t have soups ready until after 10 am and I can pick one up after work. Strike 1! I go after work 7:30pm. Ma’am we don’t serve bread bowls right now. Strike 2! They needed to explain that to me. (Cool weather, soup on bread bowl! How the heck not?) «alright I will try an avocado and turkey BLT panini.» I take it home to STRIKE 3! I truly did not know that you can really mess up a sandwich. All the ingredients were there but literally in patches everything sliced and not spread out. There was a stack of 4 sliced tomatoes. Avocado stacked on the side of sandwich, lettuce half out and the turkey chunks and stacked on the other side. Even Subway employees know how to spread the ingredients on a sandwich. So this lead me to my review. Sorry they lost my business all together. Very disappointed.

The first time I ordered online for pick up the service was amazing. They had my food ready 4 mins early. The next time I went the service was horrible. I ordered a tomato soup bread bowl with a grilled cheese and a sweet tea. They forgot the bread bowl and my tea. They insisted that I didn’t order a bread bowl even though I had my order on my phone. I am Berber going back. I will just go to McAlester’s for now on. They have good service and they always get my order right. They are a little cheaper too.

They have a great salad and a wide range of healthy food to choose from. I absolutely love their bread. The staff has always been extremely friendly and the location is always clean.

Ordered autumn squash soup and a turkey avocado sandwich which was really good. There wasn’t much turkey on it but it was very delicious. Autumn squash soup is seriously my favorite! The guy at the front was very blah and the guy who brought the food was super quiet and awkward.

Gotta give credit where it’s due! First. the food here is so good. I know. Full of gluten. And so delicious. I believe here are gluten free options as well…
I’ve been to this location twice. both times a gentlemen helped me, I’m not sure if he’s a manager or not, but he took the time to learn my name and was very helpful.
Eating food off real dishes is nice too.

I love panera but this location can’t seem to get it together. The food is always delicious BUT the wait at the drive thru is terrible and the fact that my order is typically wrong discourages me from returning to this location.
We need healthy options in Killeen… Panera, step your game up. Please!

The food and service here were absolutely wonderful. This was my first time trying Panera and it was an awesome experience. We were on the run so we used the drive thru. The service was not only really professional but speedy as well. The bagels here we delicious, being toasted perfectly. The panini was nicely pressed and had robust flavor using a unique ingredient combination. The chips were a nice addition being salty and crisp. We loved it and plan on returning soon.

Nice clean atmosphere, we don’t have many clean restaurants in Killeen. Food is great and they have healthy options for you. Love that they have a walk up kiosk to place your own order and customize it to your liking.
If you don’t like healthy food or delicious baked goods then this is not the place for you. But if you’re looking to eat better while eating take out this is the place to go!

I ordered using their app and had food in three minutes while sitting at a table. You tell them your table number on your order and they deliver it and you pay with apple pay if you have it set up.
The French onion soup was very good as was the bread delivered with it the pastry was discounted when ordering through the app.
If I eat at pandora I will order electronically.

The worst Panera bread! They cannot get an order right to save their lives. And when you’re missing half your order in the drive thru they will argue with you like your lying!!! I’ve come about 4 times hoping it would get better… nope! Don’t waste your time

They r pathetic! They ALMOST ALWAYS mess up my drive through orders. If Panera Bread employees are not smart enough to get an order correct through a microphone then they need to shut the drive through down.
And don’t tell them to fix it, they will debate w u & also not give u your money back for correcting the item.
The Strawberry Poppyseed salad DOES NOT have chicken in it! There are two variations on the menu, but bc «there’s one button» these ppl don’t have enough wits to ask «chicken or no chicken» (even though I never said I want the chicken salad)
This place is ridiculous. I absolutely hate food service in Texas, they suck, big time.

Worst panera I’ve ever seen. Watched my food on the counter for 15 minutes before I got up to get it myself, waiting a total of 31 minutes after ordering on a slow Saturday morning. I even saw the manager herself push my food further back on the counter and let it get colder without questioning why it was still sitting there. Asked myself for a new bagel that wasn’t cold at the food counter and I got nothing but grunts and asked if they could just reheat it instead. Then two different employees asked two other different employees to get one for me as well. Low and behold three more bagels showed up. Poor communication and training of how employees should handle issues like that.
They definitely need a manager that can manage a staff, not be running food herself.

Unlike other panera bread’s, the mood seems so morbid. Barely any smiles from the employers and limited conversation with them. I thought it was a one time thing, but have noticed this on two separate occasions at two different times. I try to crack jokes to make the mood light, but no response.
However, I do enjoy my panini’s, sandwiches, soups, etc. They all taste fresh and delicious.
I will still visit and eat here. I just need to remind myself to bring my own entertainment and smile, lol
