Service was great and the location was clean. I wish there were more options, in regards to cupcakes made regular frosting. The only reason I took one star away is, even though I came on a Saturday evening, the cupcakes were a little stale/dry. This isn’t what I was expecting after hearing such wonderful things about their cupcakes. Either way, the cupcake was very tasteful and I will go back.

Purchased a dozen and all looked appealing but unfortunately were hit or miss. Several were very dry resulting in a crumbling cupcake — not exactly what I was hoping for. While the frosting is tasty with a Lot of sugar, it’s simply too overloaded and takes away from any flavor of the actual cake. Wanted to love them, some were decent but pricey — not so sure I’ll return any time soon.

Sure, I’ll go to Gigi’s for my sweet tooth fix. It’s pricy for what you get. And it’s frosting overload. Hit or miss with flavor, but the texture is good and its a sugar rush when you need it, right? The other good thing is the cupcakes are made fresh daily. Workers come in at night(say 3:00 am in the morning) so the treats you buy are made fresh the same day. Fluffy for sure. The frosting is sweet and delicious. But the triple layer is sooo much. Way too much frosting. Still. isn’t that what all the cupcake shops do for aesthetics? Tell me one who doesn’t. I like the Chocolate Salted Caramel and the Strawberry best. Unfortunately, the wedding cake flavor was seriously lacking in almond. It pretty much tasted plain. Just totally plain. Bummer cuz that’s THE flavor for cake, you know?! But the service is good and I love the charitable donations from the storefront. Since everything is freshly made each day, they get many calls for donations after hours. If they have any cupcakes remaining they’ll donate to the local nursing home, fire station, etc. and I could shake their hands for that.

Did not care for this establishment. First off, they are not baked there. They are brought in. Too much icing. I had the red velvet and the first bite it was stale. Took it back in and she gladly gave me my money back and appologized. Would not recommend.

I was a Gigi’s Cupcake fan from the first bite! I have been a customer since the Parkside Drive location opened. I’ve always had great service and fresh cupcakes! Scarlett’s Red Velvet has to be my all time favorite. If I want«dessert», I’ll have it at home or at a restaurant. To me, Gigi’s is my special treat! It’s the place I go when it’s just been«one of those days» or to celebrate something special! They also have a Rewards Card Program and you earn points with each purchase. Once you reach a certain amount, you get $ 5.00 loaded onto your card. Also, just for being a Rewards Member, you get a FREE cupcake during your Birthday Month! I was so excited to see the West Town Mall Cupcake Kiosk and the added locations in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Yummy! Yes, they are a little pricey PER cupcake, but to me, so worth it!

Putting 3 stars for now to balance between both my visits to Gigi’s. The first visit was a 1 or 2 star. Stale cupcakes, way too much frosting and just«meh» flavors. Second visit, probably still a bit too much frosting but the cakes were moist and delicious. I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter cupcakes on the second visit. Both were very good! We will revisit in the future :)

I’ve now been here a few different times — I still think the place is OK although a bit overpriced(hence the lowering of a star). They have a lot of different flavors but I have had the bad luck to walk in(semi-late in the day) and there only be like 1 flavor that actually sounded good to me and had a hard time coming up with 3 – 4 cupcakes i wanted. The mini ones are nice but they are expensive, $ 15 for the dozen just seems way to high for me. Some of them are quite delicous though, the lemon supreme one is fantastic. There are some that have been more of a miss and I have had a couple of times ones that the cake was dried out but most of the time its been pretty moist. Like i said in my last review I don’t get why people complain about too much icing, its pretty easy to remove what you don’t want that’s not an issue for me even though there usually is more there than i need. Still like the place but i do wish their selection was better when I go there.

I love Gigi’s. There is a lot of frosting and I’m not a frosting person — but I love theirs. Gigi’s is a special treat for me whenever I’m in town.

We went here after trying the other cupcake place just down the street. Gigi’s was on a completely different level. Awesome doesn’t do them justice. The cupcakes were fresh and moist, and we simply chose not to eat all of the icing. We were pleased with the taste, quality, and price compared to their competition.

Driving down Parkside I noticed Gigi’s and we had to stop and try their cupcakes. I love cupcakes and enjoy trying out new and different flavors. The four we took home were Cherry Limeade, Scarlett’s Red Velvet, Lemon Icebox, and White Midnight Magic. Pros –many different flavors and varieties –they change and rotate daily –the cherry cake and lemon cake were very subtle in flavor –VERY pretty cupcakes Cons –when you walk in and look at the cupcakes the first thought that popped in my head were«how long have those been sitting out?» because the icing looked a little dry and had a crackle-y appearance –WAYTOOMUCH frosting. Yuck. –the cakes were a little dry and dense(we like them to be light and fluffy) I’ve tried much better cupcakeries than Gigi’s and would rather go to those instead of coming back.
