New York Buffalo Wings

Pretty decent food with great flavor! The Buffalo chipotle fries are the best in the area! Not much difference between «hot» and «mild» flavor so go «hot» to keep the flavor kick! Burgers are really good as well. The only complaint I would ever have would be the employees don’t seem to care to be working there… lack of friendliness indeed. They are in the process of changing the name to Wing Empire but still have the same owners. Been going for quite awhile and it seems like im always the one that has to say «Hi» when im getting ready to place the order. Too bad… could have easily gotten a 5 star review.

First off this place used to be good. they changed their name and menu as well as the prices went up. Used to get the Buffalo salad quick combo with bread sticks and a drink which was decently priced. now I have to order the salad separately which went up in price and have to add 3 bux on top to make it a combo now. also they raised the price on the Buffalo fries as well and the portion size is about the same whether or you get the medium or the large.
Used to love this place but now it’s just bleh…

I stop by this place JUST to get the buffalo chicken fries. $ 8.99 for a large and it never fails. The wings and breadsticks are mediocre… Think Wingstop but the fries are.

Got their buffalo xhipotle mild fries and it was super good! $ 8.99 for that size and shared it with my parents! Us 3– we still couldnt finish it! Good flavor! I had this food before on the Orange location off of Chula Vista! But I came here ordered and it came out maybe no more than 10 minutes!
Good service, yummy food! Next I will come back here and try there wings!

I love this place the food is great! I usually get a 6 piece combo with breadsticks and split it. I prefer the boneless and I like hot or honey BBQ. Great for a Friday night or any night you don’t want to cook or spend too much.

I’m giving it one star because I have to. We got ribs and tenders To Go with a side of the Mac n cheese and fries. Everything was bland and lacked any flavor. The lemon pepper tenders were disappointing and the ribs tasted more like a warm sponge with BBQ sauce. The Mac and cheese was quite frankly just yellow goo and there was nothing mild about the buffalo tenders.
We didn’t even finish our meal because it was so unappetizing but for $ 40… That shouldn’t happen!
There are so many good food choices DONT SETTLE FOR THIS CRAP.

i like the chicken tenders here on weekend nights, it’s tender and better priced than wings and things. the only thing is, when i order the same food let’s say around lunch or afternoon, it seems that the chicken tenders are not as tender and a bit drier. i’m guessing that it’s not freshly cooked and has been standing for a while. so it’s hit or miss with this store.

BUFFALO FRIES — are good. I’d get them again. The chicken is similar to wing n things.
BUFFALO WINGS BONE IN– … No comment The bf had them they didn’t look appetizing to me at all.
THE BREADSTICKS — smell good but are a little on the dry side.
Lastly, the customer service by the cashier is absolutely horrid. We ordered before another customer and they ordered the same as us only a regular size and the cashier not only served them first but her method of serving the food was «oh I looked at them not you» .
The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because the fries were good and the food came out quick other than that I probably won’t find myself back here.

Website says location is open until 11 PM. Arrived 10:04 PM, location closed/​locked. The 1 person behind the glass had a broom and said they did not speak English.
If the website and the location disagree on the hours, I can hardly become excited about the food coming from this «Corporate» restaurant.
I wanted to give you my money during the hours you claim to be open. Why would I go out of my way to attempt this again? Done.

Been coming here for a while ever since my friend introduced me to their buffalo chicken fries. Absolutely delicious. I always get a house salad with the chicken fries or just some regular tenders depending on how hungry I am. The sauces and ranch are pretty good. Haven’t really tried anything else on the menu, but I have always received very pleasant customer service here.

I must say the sauces that come with the chicken strips are fantastic! AND I LOVED THE FRIES!!! The service was a little impatient and pushy but it was still worth it! I will be back with friends!

Hard to decide between 1 or 2 stars but other than the Buffalo fries, this place really had nothing going for it. The counter girl couldn’t even tell us what was in the coleslaw-​you know, vinegar or mayo — and so we ordered it anyway. Not even KFC quality. The mac and cheese was bland. The breadsticks were touted as being garlic, but they weren’t and weren’t served with any sauce. The wings were wings and nothing special. The buffalo fries were tasty, but that was the only item of any decency. To top it all off, they only have Pepsi fountain drinks.
There are plenty of other great restaurants to enjoy on El Cajon. Go enjoy any of them instead.

This place has yummy buffalo strips.
We ordered «buffalo» style and flavored, and it was satisfactory.

We just moved here and we’re craving wings, so we found this place nearby (good reviews and close location) and will absolutely go back!!! Super fast food, and damn tasty.

This is our spot every Friday.
A group of coworkers and I come here on Fridays. I order the honey BBQ buffalo chicken salad with ranch. For a couple weeks we were getting one free breadstick with our orders, but that stopped. =(
Otherwise everything is good and consistent.

I blame the sign in the window. «Home of the famous Chipotle Fries.» I was starving and I walked in and ordered a plate of these fries. «Mild, medium, or hot?» I got medium just since I did not know the heat level. And I got a drink also — if it was spicy, something fizzy was a necessity for me.
The lady at the counter was friendly and quickly took my order. I made sure to leave a tip. Less than 10 minutes later, she brought me my order — freshly made French fries, smothered with a generous amount of chipotle sauce and crispy chunks of fried chicken breast. The smell was genuine — one whiff and I knew it was chipotle sauce as the spicy vapors made their way toward my nose. The fries were crispy and the chicken was tastily seasoned.
I only got the Regular serving size and I was plenty full when done with them… they do make a Large size for king-​sized appetites. Pretty good deal if you ask me, and walking distance is even better.
Nice place, plenty of room and big screen TVs with the game on all of them. I may just have to try the ribs next time.

I had the Buffalo fries and they were AHH-​MAZING lol if you’re in the area or want some wings deff check this place out. The place itself is small but the food was good.

It is going to be a mixed review!
This place is not what is seems, even though you read the reviews and their web site about them… this guy want to be better then Wings and Things Well if your going to take on the name New York Buffalo Wings and Ribs need to do it New York style! It was my first time at this pace and as I walked in you have a guy sitting in front of the TV doing god only knows what! Then he gets up and goes in the back of the kitchen.
The girl behind the counter can’t even understand what I want to order. Simple I want the Buffalo Chicken salad, but add fries. (Between the salad and chicken) this is a back east thing!
She still didn’t get a clue on what I wanted! She asked don’t the fries get soggy? I ended up getting the Buffalo chipotle Fries added extra garlic (hello the chicken chipotle is on top of fries… Soggy) also got a whole BBQ ribs, and two sides. baked beans and their Baked mac n cheese! All to go…
When I brought it home, opened up the mac n cheese it is not baked! Good, but not baked. the Chipotle Chicken Fries are pretty good, [Even soggy] and the small order is big enough for two. the ribs are delicious… tender, great sauce with a little kick. and the baked beans are yum.
Now the ½ order of ribs will come on top of fries, but the whole order dose not. The fries are separate, when asked why it is because there is no room. hmmm… ok get a bigger container? The purpose of wanting the fries on the bottom of the ribs is to soak up all that yumminess the ribs drip off.
The meal in its self today was pretty good considering, will I come back probably, maybe to a different location.

There is no better drunk food in SD. Although it’s not the most convenient, being about 2 miles away from campus, the chipotle chicken fries are amazing. The large order in massive and will make sure to hit the spot. The come covered in sauce with plenty of fries on the bottom.
My only issue with this place is that they don’t give you ranch with your order of fries. When I asked about it the first time I went, I was given some crazy reason of (to many people wanted ranch with their meal so we decided to not serve it anymore). Although as you can see it didn’t hurt my star rating too much, it is the only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars. Other then that, the food is fantastically unhealthy and appetizing.

I will never ever ever get enough of this place, it is incredibly delicious. The breadsticks… oh good lord the breadsticks! The wings are SOOO good, they’re just not comparable to a certain other wing shop.
