Love their chicken trips and all their other foods; great fries too! Pretty large portion of food for pretty reasonable price! Wish they had wifi! They charge tooo much though for extra ranch and they even charge for extra hot sauce that they prepare their wings and strips in(that’s not cool: you have to have the sauce anyway and you don’t specifically spend extra money to make it separately…)!!!

Love the wings/tenders, bread sticks are always great, like others have said, easy 5 stars on the food. The parking here is rough, it’s a pretty small parking lot and can get real busy depending on the time you go. The staff is super nice and helpful, i just think they’re overwhelmed. There is a good wait time to get food so if it’s just you and one or two other people go for it and eat it there, i have 4 kids so i call ahead and get to go.. . it’s the way to go !

Been coming to wings and things for probably 10 years and this location is by far the best! I feel lucky that it’s close to home and of course down the street– Dirty birds. The wings here are always cooked to perfection and never greasy. Never caused me any indigestion or heartburn like other fried foods can do to me. Their menu is simple– wings, bone-in, boneless, or strips. They also have buffalo chicken pizza that is delicious! Another item is the buffalo chicken fries– awesome as well! Most of the time we get the strips cuz they are juicy breast meat and with the sauce on the side, you can keep your hands relatively clean! All the meals come with breadsticks and carrot and celery sticks already. The prices here are better than BWW and Dirty birds but they have less selection of flavors. The beer selection is good too — $ 5 a beer

Staff is friendly and helpful, the chickens strips are off the hook !!! Sometimes the wait sucks but that’s because they are always busy.

Ordered pick the other day and the girl who took my order was extremely friendly. When I picked up the order she reviewed everything and checked the bags to make sure the order was correct and thanked me by name. This was by far the best customer service I’ve received at this location.

Always my go to wing spot. I usually just get the chicken strips but everything tastes great. The service is always great here and they are very friendly. Went tonight and only waited about 5 minutes for my food, On a Friday night! They are awesome!

Horrible. Waited forever for my to go order, got home to realize my 10 piece meal was actually only 9. I’m not gonna throw a fit about 1 measly wing but the 9 we received weren’t all that great either and the ranch the gave me was all chunky and had what looked like gel beads all over it I thew it out without even tasting it. I hope we don’t get food poisoning from this meal. I called to complain and someone told me next time we could get 5 pieces for free… We shall see if there will be a next time.

Quick Tip: Call in your order! Don’t forget to order their Cinnabites! I’ve been to several Wings-N-Things and it’s always consistent. The only thing that varies is customer service and wait time. This review is more on this specific location and not the food. I tried to call my order in because this location is always busy, especially with college kids, and I was put on hold for over 4mins. I ended up hanging up because I was already there and the kid probably forgot about me. A young gentlemen took my order, but it wasn’t the same guy that put me on hold for 4mins. This young lad was polite and took my order promptly. I got my cup and tried to get ice… no ice was being dispensed. This experience here kept getting worse and worse, but I was cool because the soda was chill, literally. After waiting for about 15mins for my to-go order I can see my order being bagged up and ready for me to grab and go… buuuuut it was just sitting there along with two other to-go orders. I wanted to just run up there so bad and just grab it. I thought if I did that I would be helping them out, but I decided to just be patience. Their was a playoff MLB game on, so I was consumed with that… but haaaaangry! 5mins pass by and my buzzer finally goes off for me to pick up. There seemed to be a manager/older lady that wasn’t getting her hustle on. She seemed like it wasn’t busy and everyone had all the time in the world. I looked around at the other customers waiting for their to-go order as well and they were eyeing their food too that was bagged up and ready to go to a good home and belly. They all seemed frustrated. Whoever was the manager wasn’t doing their job. They were pretty busy, but the line didn’t extend out the door. They were well staffed and everything was manageable. I wish they were more attentive and cared more about customer service. Parking is always a challenge at this location. It shares a small parking lot with a Pizza Hut and another shop I can’t remember. I have to think twice now about coming back to this location. If you eat good food, then you will never eat bad food again. @dmagicp

Needs more things:) Bring back the mozzarella sticks. The tenderloin strips were pretty meaty & moist. I’ve been to the Mira Mesa & Carmel Mtn locations and the SDSU location was comparable

Went yesterday for the .30 cent wings special and it was great. Lines were long but you can’t blame them I mean the deal was fabulous. The sauce on these wings are amazing and I wish I knew what they put in them, seriously. I would be making these all the time at my house, The atmosphere is really pleasant and you can always find a soccer, baseball, football game on if you’re into that type of stuff.

If you are new to San Diego, you definitely have to try this place out! Hands down one of the best wings spot in town! Mango habanero and mild are my fav’s! Place is always pretty clean too and it’s not too far from Sdsu which is a big plus!

Stopped here recently for lunch while on a work trip. The place had great reviews and had all these recognition for their wings. I thought the food was average. It wasnt amazing, but it wasn’t disgusting. Truely a A-Ok experience. The hot is not bad at all and i think I could had done the next two levels up. Not much to say about this place.

Wings-N-Things is always consistently pretty damn good. I come here now and again for lunch or dinner and grab a tender meal. They have a couple of different sauces that you can choose from and combine. Your meal comes with 2 scrumptious bread sticks, carrots/celery and your choice of wings, boneless wings or tenders. I tend to go for the tenders and haven’t ever been disappointed. Don’t hesitate to add the garlic sauce to your spice level. Yum!

Love the wings, but the service can be a bit questionable sometime. Great wings for any fan of buffalo style sauce. A bit of spice, but includes a great amount of flavor as well. I always stick with the goto mild sauce. There are other sauces, but i am not going to argue with what flavors I like. So if you like to try a couple different sauces, wings and things offers that now. What i am a bit annoyed with though is sometimes wings and things give you random quantity of dipping sauce(ranch/blue cheese). There are times i have ordered the chicken strips double meal and have gotten one small dipping sauce container, and there have been times i have gotten two small dipping containers. There have been times i have ordered the single pizza order and get one dipping sauce container, and sometimes I get two dipping sauce containers. I cant call in an order an be sure of how much dipping sauce(ranch/blue cheese) i am getting. Most of the time I short, and am subjected to purchasing additional dipping sauce. Not everyone likes ranch/blue cheese, but for those of us who do, please stop playing with us. Also, pizza bread use to be wet or covered in sauce when I got it when the pizza bread was first released. Now the pizza bread is a bit conservative on the sauce and flavor. Note: pizza bread still is awesomeness. Just ask for extra wet or pour additional sauce on them if you get extra sauce with your wings/order. Additional note for this location: I had called in an order 20 minutes early so when I got there i could pick it up and leave. When i paid for my order i spotted my order bagged and ready to go behind the cashier. After paying though, the cashier did not even check for the order I had called in early for. They assisted the next customer instead of trying to get me and my order out the door. I do come here because i enjoy the wings, but if customer service is like that… i had to flag down another associate/employee to get my food. I hate doing that to employees, but if one does not do their job then it happens.

Convenient location for picking up snacks, but the parking logistics is awful. A tiny single driveway parking lot up front, shared with Pizza Hut and whatever rotating shop pops up in this patch mall and a $tarbucks next door. Yes, I said patch because it’s not a long strip of businesses. You can roll the dice and maybe park in the alley behind the store as long as you don’t take the pizza delivery parking spots or smash into some drifter’s shopping cart. They’ve made some upgrades since first opening and the number of flatscreen tv’s is ample. I think the screen setup is better than other local WnT locations. I haven’t dined-in during a major event, but I can imagine the place filling up with gameday fanatics. Props to the owners for supporting SDSU athletics. Our go-to flavor of the moment is the Original BBQ + Buffalo style-medium. It’s a blend of smoky sweetness with a fair amount of traditional buffalo wing sauce heat without obliterating your taste buds Traditional wings for me and tenderloin strips for Wifey. Don’t forget the warm, buttery breadsticks.

Whether looking for a place to grab some wings after a night of drinking or quick dining Wing n Things is an excellent place for some delicious chicken. After hearing so many great thing about this place I had to try it out. Right away the atmosphere was on point. Seemed family oriented and the music was good. This location had an abundance of TVs to watch many sports activities. We were greeted by a nice team member who was really open to helping a first-timer out. What I order: 24 wing family pack with carrots, celery, and 8 bread sticks. My colleague and I got 12 hot buffalo style and 12 honey bbq. The flavors were amazing! The honey bbq was smokey but sweet and the hot, well… was pretty awesome. The bread was hard on the outside but very soft in the inside. We were given a large container of ranch to go well with everything. We ordered chicken tenders as well and in my opinion that stole the show. The only thing that keep this location from being a 5 was the location itself. Very busy and full of traffic. The parking lot was small which shared its boundaries with Pizza Hut and Starbucks. Overall, i had a great experience and really recommend this place. Good food, good beer, good atmosphere; I mean if you don’t mind a slight walk.

I’m only giving this a 4 and not a 5 because the service wasn’t the absolutely best. Wasn’t the worst but definitely wasn’t the best. The food is absolutely amazing! A little messy but good. Got the buffalo style medium sauce chicken tenders.

First off, I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE buffalo wings, strips, etc and I am overly particular about where I go to get chicken wings due to the Wings N Things comparison. I talk about this place to everyone and make anyone who hasn’t tried it, go immediately. I’m like a Wings N Things ambassador hahaaa. More importantly, This is my FAVORITE location because they give so much sauce with the order. I order the Medium Strips combo meal which comes with breadsticks(so good), and carrots/celery(although most people don’t eat that), the drink is extra. The medium sauce is amazing. I crave these strips everyday. Literally every single day. Strips, buffalo wings, and breadsticks are better hot so it’s best to sit there and eat. I’ve tried bone in wings, boneless wings, and the shrimp too… All perf and best in the medium flavor in my opinion. Call ahead and order.

I’ve been eating at Wings n things for as long as I can remember. I’ll take their sauce over all the new start up companies!
