I am torn between a 2 star and a 4 star so I settled on 3! This place is an enigma. In general, they have a great selection of stock — far, far better than Sweetbay(which, by the way, is a foreign owned company!!) On the other hand, their prices on many items are so far out of line, I find myself(ahhhhhhhh errrrrrrrr wellllllllll) going to WalMart!!! Examples: same cereals can run $ 1 to $ 2 cheaper at WalMart and Edy’s ice cream is at least $ 1.50 cheaper at WalMart. In fact, if you compare prices at The Villages Publix to Publix in, for example, Orlando, you will find significanly cheaper pricing in Orlando! BUT, they are convenient and they do have a good stock. They just need to stop ripping us off!!! At least the milk is made in USA :)

This Publix, in my opinion, is the best Publix in The Villages. It’s clean; shelves always stocked; produce is nice; deli & bakery selections are great(bread too); & most of the staff are friendly & helpful. They have a decent wine selection too.

This is one if the better Publix in the area IMHO. The bakery has a better selection and they always have a constant supply of Dr. Brown’s Cel-ray. I come out of my way just to ogle their baked goods.
