We had 2 rooms at $ 90 a pop. Disgustingly dirty, carpet was filthy and stained and tearing off the floor. The bathroom was dirty, the cheesy linoleum(1970’s) floor was lifting, decayed and dirty, the sink was dirty, the floor was so utterly disgusting we would not walk on it with bare feet. The hallway(which is pink and lavender) and stair carpet was so dirty it looked like it was rescued from the 5 freeway and thrown on the floor. Bedspreads were gross, the cinder block walls that made up this lovely place were stained and made you think, «yep, I am staying out of prison for sure.» We had no where else to stay and couldn’t keep driving so we were stuck. I emailed«Booking» for a refund and no answer! This was the most horrible place I have ever stayed. The grand finale was the cold, nasty coffee in the lobby and the«breakfast» in a paper bag they handed you on the way out the door, with an apple, some nasty little pre-packaged pastry and Welch’s fruit snacks. WOW! We would have slept in the car, but the drug dealer that approached us when we pulled in made us nervous. Not Joking! Booking should be ashamed to even advertise this dump and who ever owns«Econolodge,» should be jailed for false advertising. This hole actually has 3 and 4 stars. I will never trust that again.

Two Words. Old and Dirty. This was literally one of the nastiest places I’ve ever stayed at. The only decent thing was the hot water and water pressure in the shower. Staff was nice.

We stayed 2 nights here in a double queen room overlooking the pool. The room was old and clean. Beds were new and comfortable. Saturday night there’s a pool party that’s pretty loud, but ends at 11. With it being an older building noise did travel from the hallways, but we just put the ac fan on and it was fine. For the price you can’t expect much more. We would stay here again, for the decent price we had no problems.

First… Could not find the place. It’s connected to the casino and is called the Lake Elsinore hotel(confused us at first) and had a plastic sign hanging on the building saying Econolodge. We were first given a room in the building attached to the casino… For the price we paid we decided we would be better off at the other better quality hotels in the area. The rooms were old, outdated, and dirty. The mini fridge in the room did not work, the towels in the bathroom were stained, torn and dirty and the shower was very small and busted up. There was a hair stuck in the shower head also which grossed me out enough. We went to the front desk and asked for our money back to go to another hotel. At that point they gave us a room in another building up the hill in which the rooms were renovated. These rooms were not to attached to the casino and seemed up to par and equal to any other brand name mass produced hotel(La Quinta, Best western and others like that). The entrances to each room were outside… not enclosed like other hotels. Despite not being attached to the casino and up the hill a bit — that did not stop drunken casino goers from making noise outside or knocking on our door at 3am repeatedly while whistling and asking for their«mommy». No joke people… I give this place a one due to the original rooms we were placed in and the interruptions we experienced. I’d rather stay in Bates Motel then those old rooms attached to the casino. Even though they gave us better rooms(after we complained)…we were still interupted in the wee hours of the morning several times due to what I assume are crazy drunken casino goers. You’re so much better off going to the La Quinta, Best Western or the Holiday Inn up the road. At least you pay the same price there and get breakfast.

FYI: Does not have Econo Lodge advertised. Lake Elsinore Casino instead. Was a little confused. When I finally found this spot. Was welcomed by the front desk receptionist named, Lupe. Our reservation started off a little tricky but she was very helpful and professionally. And made everything alll better ! Will stay here again if in the area.
