The staff is very nice and helpful but there pricing sucks!!! Very over priced. I went with my wife and my sister and brother in law, we all wanted to get tattoos. I have 6 so I am fairly familiar with tattoo pricing. Long story short why wife wanted a small piece that should be around $ 75 to Vegas price maybe $ 150. They wanted $ 350 bucks! They must be joking right my piece that should be maybe $ 150 – 200 they wanted $ 750. The point is that they apparently think that the ink is liquid gold or something.

Absolute rip off. On a recent walk through Mandalay Bay I decided to pop in and get a quote on a tattoo while in Vegas on vacation. I was absolutely floored by the price I was quoted. I have a full sleeve on one arm, both legs completely covered from ankle to knee, my whole top half of my back done and most of my other arm is almost fully sleeved, so I know when I am quoted a price that is totally inflated. I also know when an artist isn’t interested in doing a tattoo and this guy was not interested in doing anything custom. This place seems to prefer to just tattoo flash from the walls and portfolios. For the size of the tattoo and the amount of time it would have taken, it should have been about $ 100-$ 150 tops. This place told me it would be about $ 300. I feel bad for the people who have little to no knowledge or are just plain oblivious to how a reputable tattoo studio works because they are being taken for a ride down rip off alley. Save yourself some money and use it on something else and enjoy your vacation. Do your homework and look into where you’re going for your tattoo. I can and will get the tattoo I asked about back home where I am not paying crazy money just because it’s in a Vegas Casino or owned by a big name… because where I go for most of my work, is owned by a world renowned tattoo artist and they won’t over charge me.

I’ve been wanting my nosed pierced for a year and what better place then Las Vegas. I came across this shop while dining at The House of Blues. I went in multiple times mustering up the courage to get pierced and the price quote did not change. Cost $ 75. The only reason this shop is not getting 5 stars is how long we had to wait. There were 3 of us getting piercings and no one else in front of us. 2 nose and one upper ear. It took close to 3 hours for ongoing sterilization and prep. Of course we wanted everything sterilized, but 3 hours for 3 routine piercings seemed kind of crazy. Would recommend this place for a good looking piercing.

Got my first tattoo done here last week. The staff is charming and totally comforting. I got a little bit nervous right before the process started but the tattooer, I forgot his name, help to keep my mind off the needle by asking me how my trip was and what I’d done. Before I knew it, it was over!

Staff here doesn’t know what they are doing. I came in to ask the price of an industrial piercing…(very common). I was initially told $ 115, then another staff stepped in & said«No, I think it’s $ 140.» I came back later to make an appt. & was told it was actually only $ 80. Came back two hours later & was told by the same girl that it was really $ 160. When we pointed out that she earlier quoted us $ 80…she got an attitude & didn’t even apologize for her mistake. I called 3 other very reputable shops(not dives) & the highest quote I received was $ 70. I get they have high rent, but I’m not interested in paying for anyone’s rent… I’d rather pay for quality. In the end I went to a shop that was 10x nicer & paid a total of $ 87…that included piercing, rod, cleaner & tip!

OK I’m no spring chicken so getting a tattoo or piercing is getting some«opinions» from some family members. Oh well… most people are shocked since they never did see this type of piercing and already a few people I know are looking into it. Why this shop has so many filtered reviews is somewhat disappointing of the whole Unilocal experience. I do reviews and this review was not solicited(hear that Unilocal). It’s my experience. Well…I’m 48 and my daughter is 28 and we wanted to do something fun while in Vegas. We were staying at the Mirage and while my initial reason for going to the shop was to talk about a terrible tattoo I got 10 years ago, it was then realized the canvas for fixing the tattoo was not ideal :(Oh well… they were very honest and worked with me for a while. During the few visits to the shop trying to get up enough nerve about the tattoo, we started to talk about a piercing in the tattoo. OK… Change of plans. Amy did my finger piercing and did my daughter’s back. We are both tickled pink. Amy was AWESOME!!! The pain was minimal at best. If price is your concern, then don’t visit a shop at the Mirage or at Mandalay Bay. Plenty of dive joints in Vegas that are not paying an arm and leg for rent. While some may not find this reason enough to have a higher price, they simply do not understand basic economics. Now add on the best of the best… and let’s face it… it’s likely a permanent thing you are doing to your body, it is going to cost a little more dough then you may want to spend. Or you can do like me 10 years ago and now paying thousands to have it removed. Do you research… and enjoy your tattoo and/or piercing! Thanks Amy!
