I’ve been a frequent customer at numerous Pepperjax locations. One thing I like is the consistency from store to store. You always know what you’re going to get. My favorite menu items are the cheesesteak sandwich and the steak salad. The food is always tasty and prepared as you watch. Great choice for a fast food type place.

Very disappointed in service and food. First the girl taking my husband order to ring up was yelling it out like there was a line to the door. It was a cold night and no one even behind us. He said fries and she kept yelling out fries. Then she overcharged us even if small amount she rang up 3 steak sandwiches which one was chicken. Might sound knit picky but then my son ordered a side of queso. We figured normal size for 1.49. It came as pictured in a small ranch size we thought they were joking and took it back. We did get a refund for it and the manager did come over and apologize for everything. Its just those are things make us not want to go back and businesses go out.

I really enjoyed my meal. It was tasty and filled me up. One thing I did not like was not knowing how to build the philly. I could bearly hear the cook and I had never been here to understand the what I could get on my philly. It was still great food and I will definitely come here again!

5 stars, and well deserved. The best philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had, and I have a thing for cheesesteaks. They are so good that I almost cannot order a philly on any other menu now. Basically, you walk in and order at the front of the store. You either pick chicken or steak and either get it on a salad, wrap, philly, or nachoes. Then you add your veggies, they cook in any combo of mushrooms, green peppers, onion, or jalapeño. You can also get your meat«fireballed» which means they pour some jalepeno juice over it while its cooking. Great touch. I go for the steak philly with mushroom and jalepeno, fireballed every time. You can add fries to your meal, which are also great. The fries are huge so I recommend sharing. Lastly, you add your sauces to your food. Their ranch and spicy ranch are my favorites, but the au jus is also good. They also serve beer. My mouth is getting hella moist just thinking about it.

Pretty good cheesesteak. I like mine just they way they make them, but it does tend to be on the salty side. The fries are not very original but due in a pinch. Also, ask for them to Fireball it, which adds jalapeño juice to give it some nice flavor. Between Pepperjax and Davinci you have some good philly cheese steaks in Lincoln!

Pretty good Philly bit they are heavy handed on the salt. I reccomend telling them«light seasoning». Otherwise, it’s a nice place to grab a Philly Cheesesteak. I would compare their quality and taste to Davincis only saltier. Great location near Southpointe Mall and they are usually pretty fast which is great if I want to order to-go.

Claims to be the best philly in America, it’s good, but not the«best». I suggest light seasoning as most people I know agree they tend to fall on the salty end of the spectrum. Fries are a gamble, usually they aren’t great.

Service: Average. Nothing super exceptional or impressive. Cleanliness: Grill is cleaned quite often. Workers are knowledgeable about cross contamination and personal hygiene. Dining: No trash cans anywhere. Tables were clean. Felt like a bar inside Food: The reason for the low score. The meat tasted very generic and the seasoning they used was very dissatisfying. Their food tastes similar to gas station food.

Best place for a Steak Philly hands down! They consistently make the same sandwich with friendly service EVERYTIME! I also love Cheese Steak Grille when it comes to Philly’s, they are so inconsistent you never know what you’re gonna get. When CheeseSteak Grille first opened they were the BOMB! I continually frequent both hoping CheeseSteak Grille can compare, but they’re a close Second to Pepperjax in my book.

I became addicted to this place when it was an Omaha staple, and I about lost my mind when I found out they were coming to Lincoln. Best philly steaks. Their rice bowls are great too, though in my opinion they put too much cilantro in their rice(I won’t hold it against them, though, because cilantro is all the rage right now.) Service has always been good at the Lincoln location, and I appreciate the photos on the walls that chronicle the history of Lincoln; it really shows they want to be a part of the town. I highly recommend the steak philly fireballed. The fries are great, though I never get them because they take up space in my stomach that could be filled with more steak. Overall, here’s the breakdown. Food: Delicious, every time, all the time. Atmosphere: Clean, well put together, nice pictures on the walls. Service: Friendly. Super friendly. My-job-depends-on-this friendly.

I could eat here everyday for the rest of my life. Steak Philly, Fireball(Cooked with jalapeño juice), extra jalapeños, green peppers and onions. French fries dipped in their homemade Spicy Ranch… This place is to die for.

Well I have been to the pepperjax grill 6 times and had one visit that was good and that was when they first opened. And the reason for that was it was so busy they didn’t have time to overcook the steak. All the other times they chop and chop and cook the meat to death. It is prime meat that doesn’t need overcooked how many prime ribs have you eaten that aren’t pink We stopped going to the one in Lincoln and drive to Omaha when we want a good pepperjax especially the one on 74th and pacific.P.S.Brian is right they need to have Fox News.
