Yummy! Awesome soup! Not crazy about the sandwiches, but maybe haven’t found my niche yet. Did I mention that the soup is awesome???

Very good soup and service. Always friendly staff who can give accurate descriptions of all soups on hand. Sandwiches and salads are good but the soup is the best part.

I’ll keep this review short, sweet and to the point. The best part: they rotate their soups often so it will probably always be different each time, and you get to sample as many as you want before you pick!(I probably tried at least five, and was encouraged to try them all!) I sampled mulligatawny, garlic chicken & kale, the traditional chicken pot pie, a chicken rice one and a lemon Greek soup. Ended up going with the garlic chicken and kale and half a sandwich. The worst part: quality in comparison to the price is nothing spectacular. I may be saying this in part because I consider myself to be a soup sauvant, and sure it’s better than traditional greasy fast food, but you’re probably better off going to a fancier restaurant for a similar price(about $ 10 a meal and that was without a drink or upsizing the size of the soup).

This is a nice place to go if you want a light lunch or even diner. I really like most of there soups. But they do have some that you can tell they come in frozen. But still good. And a healthy alternative. It’s a bit pricy so this is some thing I would go to just now and then. But its a good place!

If there is one constant in this universe, it’s my love for Zoup! In the growing number of visits, everything remains the same with this place. The food quality is always great, the taste of every Zoup(that’s what I’m calling their soups, so deal with it) is awesome. I’ve never had a bad Zoup there, and I try all of the free samples, almost to the point of sample abuse. No matter what I try, it’s never bad, ever. They have a great salad and sandwich menu, but I overlook it, because getting Zoup in a sourdough bread bowl is all you need. I’m sure the add ons are great, but it’s called Zoup! not bunch of other things plus Zoup. 7 dollars for a bread bowl filled with wonderful Zoup is a steal. I eat here even in the summer, because it’s so good. Their kid’s menu is great, because it’s a PB&J, Zoup, crackers, drink, for less than $ 5. That feeds both of our kids. And I love Zoup because it’s not a disgusting greasy burger, and I LOVE greasy disgusting burgers. It’s healthier, so I don’t feel the guilt or regret or shame afterwards and I don’t feel bad for feeding it to my kids. My only complaint is that this Zoup! is on the wrong side of town, and the second Zoup! is going into the other mall. I demand a Zoup! come to the north side of town, somewhere near 27th and Superior, so I don’t have to fight all of Lincoln’s traffic to get there. If Zoup! needs help picking out a location, I’d love to help, I have a few places in mind that need to go. Zoup! Zoup! Zoup!

Black bean chili and a whole grain roll. SO good! Today I could overhear a manager training a new employee. SO impressed!

A disappointing experience today. Seemed to be operating with two boys. Inattentive to customers. Did not appear to be making any effort to keep soup fresh. All three of our soups lacked meat and other basic ingredients indicating poor training or just lack of interest in their jobs. Will not be back anytime soon.

Sample a few soups. I panicked. Many options. Chicken pot pie soup. Zoup! There it is! To The tune of «Whoop! There it is!» Thank you, SNL. Haiku review.

Great! Excellent choices. lots of variety, try before you buy! We’ve been here many times and will continue to come back. Decent sandwich menu, good for the kids who tend to not be big soup eaters. They are this pick two type thing where you can get soup and a sandwich.

Based on one visit, I would say it’s outstanding. Being a vegetarian family is often problematic, not here. They had several veggie options, and the kids meal comes with choice of soup, packet of goldfish, choice of grilled cheese or p, b and j, and juice box. Which obviously isn’t the pantheon of healthy food for kids, but it’s leaps ahead of most places. I had the sourdough soup bowl, which is smaller than pictured, but it’s a perfect adult portion. I think there’s outdoor seating, too.

Tons of different soups that rotate daily and they encourage sampling them before you buy it. Great concept and let me tell you, they make some great soups. I waited until I ate here a few times before reviewing this place. I have sampled or bought 12 different soups and I can tell you they all are delicious. Here are some of my favorites: The French Onion — This soup is divine. Thick and full of flavor. No thin broth here, which I hate about a lot of places french onion. Lobster Bisque — Holy cow, this soup is amazing and FULL of chunks of real lobster. I was in disbelief on how much lobster was in this soup. Probably my favorite soup they have. Mulligatawny — Most original soup I have had in a long time. Curry tomato base with tons of veggies. It has such a tasty unique flavor you just have to try it. Chipotle Shrimp Bisque — Not as creamy as the Lobster Bisque, this soup reminds me of something you would have in New Orleans. Great spice but not spicy, with plenty of flavor and loads of shrimp. Chicken Potpie — This is a classic twist on chicken noodle soup. Creamy soup and they put the pie dough on top. Very good. Pumpkin Pie Bisque — This thing is one of a kind. Creamy pumpkin soup with the crust on top. The salads also seem imaginative and are pretty good. My only disappointment is in the sandwiches. They are pretty bland and ordinary, much like what you would find at just about any other sandwich shop. I had the Turkey Club and when I got it, It seamed a little small and felt flattened. I realized this was a half sandwich but it just didn’t impress me. It was just ok, not bad, just average. Other then that, I would still highly recommend Zoup!, very good place for lunch or dinner. I like this place much better then Panera or Breada, although the prices are comparable for a pick two combo.

I met a friend here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and my only complaint is that there isn’t a location in Omaha so I can go all the time. When we walked in we were promptly greeted by the gentleman behind the counter who asked us if we had ever been there before. When we answered that we had not, he proceeded to explain the concept to us. He explained that they have a huge selection of soups that rotate daily and offered us samples, which was great because I was totally overwhelmed by all the choices. I sampled the Lobster Bisque, Pumpkin Bisque, and a corn chowder. I was torn between the two bisques(the pumpkin one was like dessert!) but eventually settled on the Lobster Bisque(a cream base with chunks of lobster and crawfish) with a half order of the Sonoma Salad(romaine, spring mix, gorgonzola, dried cranberries, and toasted almonds, served with raspberry vinaigrette dressing). Our order came out quickly(probably within about 5 minutes). The soup was incredible! It was creamy and full of flavor and had plenty of tender chunks of lobster and crawfish. All of their soups are served with your choice of bread(sourdough, multigrain, or French). I went with the sourdough and it was soft and delicious and perfect for dipping in the yummy soup. The salad was pretty good, too, but the soup definitely is the star of this place. I didn’t even take any pictures because I practically inhaled the soup before it even crossed my mind. The price is on the high side but the soup is incredible so it is worth the price. They have a ton of options to fit every palate(dairy free, vegetarian, etc.). Zoup is the perfect place for a fast, delicious lunch. Please open a location in Omaha!

The soups are good and the sandwiches taste fresh. It could be a little easier on the wallet but the I can overlook that. They offer a variety of soups which may change daily. Overall, a good meal at an ok price.

Entoufee is a French word for stew apparently. I tried the shrimp and crawfish entoufee. It was delicious. My husband tried the white bean turkey sausage soup. Weirdly, both soups looked the same and I actually had to try both to determine which one had the seafood. The sourdough bread was amazing, but the 4-cheese melt was plain and short on cheese. They rotate 12 different soups from a list of 125 choices. There are 60 Zoup’s in 15 states and Canada. Except for the gazpachos, the soups are not originally made in each store. The staff was helpful and we tried several tastes of different soups before deciding. I’m glad we tried it.

This place is so good! Upon entry, you are invited to taste a variety of different soups. My husband and I sampled about six of them before deciding on the beef barley and chicken pot pie. The soup had nice flavor, good seasonings, and was not too salty. It was served with a piece of fresh-baked bread– sourdough, multigrain, or french. The bread was warm and was great to dip into the soup. We also split the cobb salad which had good quality ingredients including romaine lettuce, boiled egg, chicken, bacon, red onions, gorgonzola cheese, avocado, tomatoes, and olives. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience and we definitely plan to return.

It’s ok. I do always wish there were more places like this so, there’s that. The soup was pretty good. The sandwich was just eh. The worst part about this place… EVERY time someone walks in the door they all yell, WELCOMETOZOUP! Which I guess is nice if it’s you they’re saying it to, but if you’re already here it gets annoying after the 10th-ish time. Same goes for every time someone comes from the back with ‘HOTSOUP’ they all yell it. We’ll try it again, just maybe to go next time.
