Toskana Pizzeria Restaurant

This place is presenting some tough competition for Antoninos, the other relatively inexpensive pizzeria style Italian restaurant out in this neck of the woods. Toskana has somewhat lower prices on many of their dishes and if you give them the right look, you will get a complimentary piece of NY Style Cheesecake at the end of your meal. It’s pizza and basic food. Toskana bakes all the breads fresh and their garlic rolls and pizza frocaccia are delicious. I’ve been their three times and highly recommend their Shrimp Toskana and their Linguine in White Clam Sauce. Their seafood oreganata was mostly good, except for the mussels. The mussels were too small and dried out to have much if any flavor. But the shrimp, clams, and fillet of sole were delicious and the oregano topping was also good.

Forced to give at least 1 star. Been coming here for while. Food is ok. Delivery 1 hour plus. Employees are very rude. Wont go back.

Order again for sake of time and the order was not as packed as good as the first time.

The marinara sauce they provide with their garlic knots/​garlic bread is AH-​MH-​ZING. As I’m writing this, the craving for the sauce and bread is strong (it’s that good).
The owner is very friendly and very nice. As is the rest of the staff. Though there is dining-​in available, this seems to be primarily a takeout place. If dining in, know there is generally only one waitress/​waiter servicing all the tables. This can be challenging from a customer service perspective as they are also taking walk-​ins and call-​ins. Service might sometimes be a little spotty but that does not diminish the great food and the staff has a great attitude otherwise.
I love this spot because it’s a great casual dining spot and a bit inconspicuous. You wouldn’t otherwise know driving by on Northern. There is a small parking lot which helps. I’m really happy we heard about this place and have already come back 5x (sometimes 2x in a week!) with my family (coming from Flushing and Rego Park).

Great to see this place opened again. It was some pizzeria for brief time and now even better than before!
Quick and fast delivery and literally huge slice of pizza. Pasta is better than other restaurant and my favorite chicken roll, I can eat anytime.

Jeff d is totally awesome. Superb service. When someone really cares that much for their clients why wouldn’t anyone want to eat here.

This is one of my favorite lunch spots to order from. I usually get the Tossed salad with grilled chicken, portions are big and food is quality. The garlic knots are pretty good and tasty too. Definitely recommend it for a great spot in the Great Neck area.

Great new local pizza spot.
Excellent slices, haven’t had one I haven’t liked so far.
However — I was not crazy about the penne al a vodka with grill chicken.
I had it for take out and there was definitely not enough sauce, the penne was actually on the dry side cause there wasn’t enough sauce.
Not sure I’d go for the pasta again but the pizza is superb.

Found his restaurant while looking for somewhere to eat before going to the movies. It’s nothing super fancy but it’s cute and cozy and the service is awesome. I had a slice w/​extra cheese and my husband had the shrimp parm and both were delicious!!! We also ordered a garden salad w/​grilled chicken… it was sooooooo goooodddd AND big enough for two! This salad was so good, I didn’t want it to end and ordered one to go!!! That was last week… I’m back again for dinner tonight!!! The parking is kinda tight; if you don’t find street level parking, there’s a free underground garage right below the restaurant.

Stopped in here to try the new place out with reservations since the previous one stunk… I was very pleasantly surprised by the delicious pizza and the friendly owner. Loved the regular thin crust and grandma’s was terrific too. The owner promised a free meal for myself and a date if not satisfied but, try as I might to dislike it, I loved every bite!

Toskana in Little Neck is a welcomed establishment in this nabe. While we have plenty of Italian restaurants and pizza joints, their flavors are unique and stands out from the rest.
I’ve been here many times (more than I’ve checked in) and each time I make a point to try something new.
My favorites are the lasagna and grandma slices. Their sauce is noticeably sweeter and not salty like the other spots in town. So just be aware, that’s what makes them different. My clan loved the shrimp scampi and rigatoni a la vodka.
Quality food and reasonably priced. Must check it out.

I have been on a diet for a few months. But before I started I loved the spinach artichoke slice and his sicilian. Now for lunch, I keep going for the best dish of Grilled Salon with sauteed broccoli rabe with garlic, white cannellini beans and I ask to put some red hot cherry peppers. It is the best healthy lunch in the area. Very clean eating. Works well for the diet and very tasty. Salmon which I usually hate, is seasoned cooked perfectly. Gotta try it. And when dining in with a few people to be consumed on the spot, order the thin crust Toskana special pie. It’s great. Friendly people behind the counter too.

Highly recommend. Pizza is delish. Entrees are big and tasty. Specialty salads are enough for two people. This is the place to go if you want good food and good value. The staff is friendly and courteous. Jeff the owner is a real nice guy and he remembers you. They offer bread and garlic knots with a sauce that is fantastic. I’ve had many dishes and love the Chicken Toskana, the sauce and mushrooms are amazing. Buffalo Chicken as an appetizer is excellent along with the Stuffed Mushrooms. Tricolor Gorgonzola Salad is big and like I said enough for two. All dishes come with pasta or salad. I’ve recommended many people and have heard only positive responses. Glad to have you in the neighborhood!!!

WOW! I simply must give a shout out to this WONDERFUL establishment. Having given up the search for decent pizza in Bayside (there is none), my husband found this place and it has the best pizza! Not greasy, nice sauce, and just a pleasure to eat. Today I had their Country Style Greek Salad, and it was very good. Now here is the best part… they deliver to Bayside! At least they do if you order from the Toskana on Northern Blvd in Little Neck.
I highly recommend Toskana for your next pizza fix. My family loves it.

Amazing food, amazing service. The owner was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. Definitely try the artichoke pizza and Greek salad. The cappuccino and deserts were perfect. This is definitely my new spot.

We’ve been ordering here for about a month and a half on my wife’s suggestion to try new places. Always weary of trying new places I reluctantly agreed and I am glad I did. The food is great and at an honest price. We asked them to cater our Christmas Eve party and our family friends could not stop raving about the food. Looking forward to the next time we order.

Order bbq chicken pizza 2 plain slices and a baked ziti entrée… let me start by saying the pizza is cooked to perfection and tasted so crunchie. Service was decent but owner/​manager was so nice he made it hard not to enjoy my meal I did order food via delivery which cane very fast and hot and once again food was jus lik always. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN !

Went in around lunch time and ordered a slice and a sicilian. Pizza was good and fresh which is something that is hard to come by lately at most places, but the problem was when i ordered. I placed my order not realizing that the guy who took my order was the delivery guy who failed to tell the others that i had ordered. so instead i had to wait 15 mins for just a slice and a sicilian and when i got home it was cold. I would’ve walked out but i had already paid. There have been a few pizza places at this location over the years (4 if memory serves me correctly) and there are 6 other pizza places in the area. Only time will tell if this place lasts, but if service doesn’t improve then this will be the 5^th pizza place to crash and burn at this location.

They been nothing but friendly and guaranteed great food, something we been looking forward too moving into the area.

Thank goodness this place opened! Many pizza places have opened and closed in the same location but none have really lasted since Frank and Johns closed. I believe Toskana is here to stay. They have one of the best plain slices I’ve ever had. EVER. I’m on a hunt to find the best cheese pizza in NY and Toskana has def made it to my top 5 list. I also visited right before they were closing so the pizza wasn’t even fresh and I’m telling you it was that good. I tried their buffalo chicken roll as well and would def recommend it!

I just came in the second location with my family my kids loved pene ala vodka i had chicken toskana to die for my wife had chicken franchaise delicius they gave us garlic knots and focacia bread to start free soda refill .I cant belive how nice they sett up 2 locotions in one year. We use to go to Ginos never again. I told all my friends and they Toskana custumers now. They even gave us free dessert. From my family to Toskana family wish you the best and welcome to neighborhood good luck and keep up good job guys!!!

Ive been coming here since they opened their first pizzeria. The food is just as amazing as the first time i had it. When im here i feel at home! Great staff, Jeff is just so sweet as usual. My husband raves about the penne alla vodka with chicken. It all he eats! Thank god for toskana is all i have to say!!!

Ok let me start off by saying that I sort of consider myself a pizza snob… I’m really really picky when it comes to pizza! That being said, I’m always in search for the perfect plain slice. The perfect slice has to right combination of sauce, cheese and crust texture — I think Toskana’s slices come close to perfection!
I’ve tried this place more than a few times and it has been spot on every time.
First is the cheese — they put a perfect amount of cheese on their slices. There’s not so much where it overwhelms the pizza and not so little that you feel like you’re eating mostly crust with sauce. The cheese also produces a perfect amount of orange greasy goodness to «lubricate» their slices; sorry but if cheese grease isn’t your thing then you’re not a true pizza fan.
The sauce — the sauce is there but there’s not too much of it. That’s the way it should be if you ask me. If there’s too much sauce then it overpowers the rest of the pizza and it tastes like you’re eating marinara with breadsticks. Toskana doesn’t put too much, but enough so that I can still taste it.
The crust — It’s not too thick, not too doughy and not so thin that it tastes like you’re eating glorified matza bread. It’s overall crispy and not too dry — its taste benefits from soaking up the aforementioned sauce and cheese grease!
I’ve also tried the penne ala vodka (pretty good) and garlic knots (ok). But in my eyes it’s all about the pizza and Toskana gets it right!

So I have to start off by saying that I NEVER eat any chicken from any restaurants I would rather make it at home but I was really in the mood to have a chicken cesar salad so I decided to try one from Toskana. I ordered extra cheese and extra croutons and it did not dissapoint! The chicken tasted fresh, seasoned great, they put in extra cheese and croutons as I requested. Jeff also remembered who I was and was very pleasant and also threw in a bonus order of garlic knots which paired great with the salads. Thank you and I would recommend Toskana’s food it will not dissapoint!

After waiting for almost three years finally we have a food store that dishes out restaurant quality food and pizza that is close second to none. The guys beyond the counter are very amicable and not afraid to have a conversation with you. Keep up the good work guys and good luck.

Had a wonderful experience dining in Toskana for lunch yesterday with my family.
The service was excellent and the food was excellent (must try their spinach and artichoke pizza!!). I will definitely be going back.
We placed an order of the linguini la Toskana to go and it was so good that we have already made plans to go back and order for a party we are hosting next weekend. The manager informed me that they also have a restaurant in Great Neck. I’m thrilled to have a new place to go to for Italian food in our neighborhood!

Yummy pizza! My bf who lives in Little Neck said this is the best ny style pizzeria around him at the moment. Regular slice is pretty decent price too, $ 2.50. We happened to also try their pasta entrée as well. We had the penne ala vodka and the creamy sauce was delicious! Will definitely come back again whenever we’re hungry!
P.S — They also have another location in Great Neck

Having just moved to the neighborhood, I was hopeful to find a good pizza spot. I’ve now had Toskana both via delivery and to stay and I know we’ll be ordering from there time and again. Delivery is very quick and pizza is still hot and fresh. They have great deals too.
Jeff is super friendly and accommodating. You can tell he’s very proud of his food and wants people to really enjoy it. Can’t wait to try their pasta entrees next.
