The first time we went was Saturday June 19th and today was our THIRD time (June 24th). This place is easily becoming our favorite fast food place :) They have a good variety of items, so far we’ve had:
— Double cheeseburger (4 out of 5)
— Mediterranean Burger (Turkey patty, 4.5 out of 5)
— California Burrito (favorite item thus far, it’s so good! 5 out of 5)
— Patty Melt (4 out of 5)
— Tuna Melt (4 out of 5)
— Carne Asada Burrito (4 out of 5, too much beans)
With that said, it is a bit higher on price, but we got a Groupon :) nonetheless, I recommend this place! It’s clean, fast, there is free 1 hour parking, and it’s good!

Grabbed a burger it was ok the french fries sucked soggy oily and when i asked for a little bit of dressing its extra .075 cents went to the car to dig them out and when i get back its .082 cent tax

I mean, this is pretty much exactly what you ask of it. Open late, quick service, extremely greasy and salty. Greattt spot for a chowdown after your bar crawl. Am I ever gonna go there when I’m sober? Eh probably not, but I will certainly be back. PS DUI fries are a little too salty/​meaty for my taste so make sure you are prepared for that if its what you get.

I really like the tacos over here, plus they had the special when you buy one and get one free (Mon-​Wed). Each tacos comes with two tortilla but I recommend to eating only one so you can get a better taste plus there are pretty thick. I also got the small fries and it remind me of in n out fries. Its good but a little bit on the salty side. So ask for no salt If you get the fries.
This place has so many option to choose from. I will come back and some other items.

First time there. Wow lots of choices. Got a grupon deal. Worked out great. I had one of burgers. But, they had breakfast dishes along with Mexican.
The food was good. Service was really pleasant. I was not expecting much. I was surprised when I saw menu and atmosphere. Parking was a little challenging and getting in and out can be confusing. Although, I felt okay with this being on 2nd street.

My 1 star rating is only for the so-​called «philly cheesesteak». It literally had NO flavor, at all! At it sure tasted nothing like what it’s supposed to be. The meat had soooo much fat I had to tear it off of most of the sandwich, just not good at all!!! Never again

We found a deal on Groupon that seemed pretty good. The only thing was the food is a little pricey. But the location itself is a great location. I believe I had a pastrami burrito and my wife had A burger they were both delicious we also tried some french fries that had a few different types of meat on them those were average I would not order those again but I would definitely visit this place and try different things each time again I believe the Groupon is still going on it was like $ 24 for $ 40 worth of food or something like that

Archibald’s is what it is. A good greasy spoon diner. Don’t expect gourmet dining and you won’t be disappointed. If you want late night munchies, a basic cheap breakfast or a burger or burrito, it’s great. The service is always excellent. They have a large container of free fruit infused water too. If you’re looking for a fabu brunch or a fancy meal you’ll be disappointed. So don’t go here expecting that and you’ll be happy. I eat breakfast here every other day pretty much. The hash browns are always perfectly crunchy outside and squishy inside. Yum! Yeah the eggs aren’t amazing. You want an amazing meal? Spend more and go to The Potholder or The Coffee Cup. For me, it’s walking distance and always consistent.

Amazing! Consistently delicious, quick and reasonably priced. The chef clearly takes pride in what he makes. Have had the chicken sandwich, onion rings, burgers and breakfast burrito. All great choices!

FYI. the hours are wrong! So the BF Odered steak and eggs (I know who does that at a burger joint) terrible as expected. I tried to warn him! This was my first time here… I ordered a burger. I should have saved myself $ 6 and got a cheapy Mcdonald’s burger… it was that bad! Will never come here again. its too expensive for crap food! People were super nice though so 5 stars for that!

The colossal aka pastrami burger’s awesome!
You have to ask to use the restroom (outback) but employees are very customer friendly and approachable. Small amount of seating inside but there’s additional seating across in the patio. The employees actually bring you your food and any desired dressing I.e. Ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper ect.
Awesome food awesome service… Maybe make a restroom inside or more visible/​accessible for customers.

The mini breakfast burritos are my favorite. Not to big and not pricey at all! Veronica who works there is really nice and kind. After a long night out drinking Archibalds is the spot to go to!

We walk by at least twice a week and my wife comments that it is full of bachelors, blue collar workers on lunch breaks, and obese people, inferring that she never sees single skinny women there. It’s what you should expect from a stand-​alone independent burger joint (big portions, decent prices), though their menu can get eclectic. If the carne asada wasn’t gummy, I’d give it five stars.

Not overly impressed with any fast food that has a tipping section on Bill when you pay at the Counter. IMO this is a very bad practice! The Lady at the register made a snide comment that I did not tip so it was not important to get the order out quickly! Frozen fish On a bun for $ 7 didn’t impress me either, it was dry and they forgot the tarter sauce. Only thing right was I asked for no cheese.

Now that was a goooood Chicago Dog!
Loved the poppy seed bun and the mustard was light in taste.
Drowning in fixings. Perfect!
I was in need of a quick food fix and we couldn’t dine in at most of the restaurants on 2nd because we had the dogs with us.
I remembered Archibald’s at the end of the restaurant row and we hoofed it over there.
Good that the outdoor tables were open so we could eat out there.
Considering how much it would have cost us to eat elsewhere, this was a deal.
The hotdog, small order of fries & a Woofie burger only came to $ 7 and change.
One thing to note:
Some of their specials are not posted on the menu board but rather on posters up on the windows.
I saw this DUI Fries poster after I had picked up our order and thought «Dangit! The hubby would have loved that!»
Next time. We love strolling around 2nd Ave. and will be back.
