Curbside Grill

Located in the Shell station parking lot at the junction of 101 and 103 across from the visitor’s bureau.
The burgers are made up fresh and it tastes! but BE AWARE!!! look at the whole menu! There are always things to try that sound too good to pass up, and they are too good to pass up! Everything I’ve had here is good or better than good.
Wish he were open more, but since it’s a one man show, I understand why he can’t be.
Well worth coming back for if you miss him the first time!

Surpringly good find. Open for lunch only and he says majority of business comes from locals! I’ve said it before, you want good food eat where the locals do. Burgers are fresh meat not frozen with hand cut fries and house made onion rings. Price comparable to slightly higher than the chains but the quality outpaces them tenfold. Narrow window of operation from 11 – 2 M-​F but worth making time to get there! This is exactly how I’d do it if I ran the show.

Great burgers, and really nice guy running the place. Not someplace I’d want to sit and eat, though. The fries were good, too — not my favorite (I like mine super crispy), but they were fresh and really delicious.

Not often do I get to have the perfect burger. I was shocked at the quality of the meat — patty was obviously NOT frozen! The bacon was thick and cooked perfectly, hanging out the sides of my Bacon n Blue burger, with large, melting hunks of excellent blue cheese streaming down the bun and into my mouth. Food porn? Yep. The tater tots were so crispy and tender, how did he do that? Craig is the proprietor, and his dog (Jo-​Jo?) was a love. We had one of the bacon burgers and husband had the blue-​plate special, which was bacon jam with pork loin and cranberry sauce with horseradish. It was so good I asked if he would trade me or split it with me for half my blue cheese. I am heading there every chance I get. Best burger on the peninsula in my book.

Absolutely the wrong address! The Grill trailer is in the parking lot of the Shell station at the intersection of Hwy 101 and 103 in Seaview (3909 Pacific Hwy, Seaview).
That being said, fabulous burgers (pastrami burger is epic), fries and specials. Our office has a standing order for tacos whenever he decides to run them. Simple, delicious.
I’d give five stars if he was open more hours.

Stopped here for a break after an exhilarating motorcycle ride down US 101. Don’t let the location fool you. Hand cut and beer batter dipped onion rings and hand cut fries. My French Dip sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever eaten! My brother said his burger was awesome!
It’s a one-​man-​show so you may have to wait, but it’s worth it! Prices are very reasonable. A must try on any road trip in that area!

Wanted to eat here tonight. Too bad the address listed is NOT correct. This address takes you to the middle of a neighborhood. Already drove to Astoria by the time I noticed someone’s tip which advised that the truck is actually in the Shell parking lot.

Delicious food — the burgers, sandwiches and fries are excellent ! I can’t wait to go again tomorrow!!!

Great food made fresh to order with quality ingredients. Yummy fries, amazing burgers and the perfect grilled chicken sandwich. Definitely worth the stop. A must have in Long Beach.
