This place is pretty good… The lemon chicken platter and salad are really good! I don’t know how they make their lemon sauce but it is addicting… The prices have gone up a few times BUT you do get big portions… I’m always stuffed after eating here. They do have a free parking structure that they share with Ross and CVS so that’s never a problem.

If you love Mediterranean food like I do, do yourself a favor and try this place. The lemon chicken plate(with brown rice and swap out the salad for tabouli) is one of my favorite quick meals in town. It’s a deal too at $ 10.99 including drink — and so much food! It always takes a few minutes to get your meal. They don’t have the stuff already cooked, which is a good thing. Always tastes fresh. Parking is free in the structure right above the strip mall.

Stopped in Brentwood and saw a California pita Mediterranean food spot .the food was great definitely healthy and nice The employees were very friendly and did not have to wait too long Nice healthy meal at good price and they have a nice selection of items and kabobs If it was halal food it would have been nice but the vegetarian menu is still okay

Generous portions, decent prices, friendly service and fresh. What more can one ask for? Too bad I didn’t start coming here earlier as they would have been and are now in the rotation for fast casual dining choices.

Delicious hummus, salads, and food that is fresh. A driveway next to the restaurant leads to free parking.

A local«go-to» for me since it is close to where I live. The food is yummy and the service is great. Whether I call for delivery or walk in, I can depend on getting what I want and that lemon sauce! I usually order the chicken plate and a mini order of dolma. Doesn’t disappoint.

Ordered online delivery, then received a call 20 minutes later and told I was being refused service due to traffic. Completely unapologetic or caring over the phone. Horrible customer service. Can’t judge the food because I never got it. Terrible experience. Would give ZERO stars if possible.

Bad service — they charged me $ 15 for a combo of lemon chicken and falafel — which is supposed to come with pita and hummus — they forgot the falafel, hummus, and pita — so I paid $ 15 for chicken fries and lettuce. When I called to let them know they said they would give me 25% off the next order — which doesn’t even cover the fact that they overcharged me for chicken and fries — which should only be $ 10 — TERRIBLE Service

A little over priced and the food is highly average. I ordered a steak kabob plate with brown rice and hummus. It took about 10 minutes for them to make my food and bring it to me. I did like that there are 2 tv’s inside to watch sports while you eat. However, the meal was $ 14.16 with tax. Not worth the money.

I find it hard to believe that I have never written a Unilocal review of California Pita. I have been dining at California Pita since the late nineties. I used to frequent the Woodland Hills location, where at lunch time the line was out the door… and well worth the wait. If you have never had Lemon Chicken at California Pita you should try it as soon as you can. Simply stated it is DELICIOUS! The portions are large, the food is excellent and in addition to the Lemon Chicken the rest of the offerings are fantastic. I now live on the Westside, so the Brentwood location on Wilshire is my go to store.

This place is okay– nothing to rave about, but consistently okay. I usually order the lemon chicken plate with brown rice and salad. The mustard sauce is good. You can order ahead of time and pick it up. Or you can order once you get there and it only takes about 5−10minutes to get your food. This is a place to grab a quick lunch or dinner on the way home.

I have a wicked confession. I have a serious addiction to their lemon sauce. It’s real. These cravings have driven me mad. Sometimes it gets so real, I spend the last hour at work plotting my phone order, and time it perfectly so that there is no delay in my barbaric consumption of grilled chicken in lemon sauce. I love California Pita for it’s convenience. It’s Mediterranean fast food at it’s best, with flavorful and healthy options. My favorite is the lemon chicken plate, which comes with fresh grilled chicken kebab, choice of rice or fries, a side salad and a piece of pita. The chicken is cooked fresh to order on the grill and is perfectly marinated, smokey and juicy. The star of the dish is the lemon sauce, which is a lemony, mustardy aioli. When I first tasted it, I thought, «meh» but with each dip, the taste grew on me and now I can’t live without it. I’ve also tried the gyro plate, which is flavorful and generously portioned. They have a salsa and condiment bar which is hidden next to the drink stand. Here, one can find all sorts of treasures from peppers and pickles to hot sauce, to fresh tomato salsa to luscious lemon sauce. Parking is free in Brentwood Plaza, which makes California Pita a convenient stop for weekday lunch or dinner.

I had their Grilled Chicken Salad, Great quality, Great taste and amazing service . the chicken was cooked so well and tasted so good(for a pregnant mama lol). The staff were very nice and friendly. I was between meetings in this part of LA and was looking for a good, quick place for some lunch. Consulting Unilocal,I found this establishment and decided to try it. It was just was I needed; the food was yummy and quick. This was a Thursday around 1pm, and there was no line and several empty tables. I placed my order at the counter and then took my seat. Shortly thereafter, someone delivered my order to the table. I had a Gyro sandwich($ 7.49) and also a mini Baba Ghanoosh($ 2.50). The sandwich was delicious. The mini baba ghanoosh was a great bargain; it included the delicious dip and a piece of pita bread. This is a good place for good lunch food.

The food here is good, and this restaurant does exactly what you want it to: serves you affordable, relatively fast, and very fresh meals whether you are on the go or in need of a quick sit-down. I am a persistent take-out customer and applaud this venue on their timing and efficiency. I also would like to call attention to the generous side bar with many offerings including spicy green sauce, pickled beets/jalapenos, and banana peppers. These sides make the meal all the more enjoyable and tasty. Thanks for your reads and votes. Great place, can’t go wrong. *Room for improvement? Well, if you’re asking for it, the falafel could use some tweaking… Truly good falafel is smack-dab crispy on the outside and soft as a pillow on the interior. The falafel here tends to have a homogenous texture. Though it is acceptable for the quick meal, it isn’t the flagship item of the restaurant. Go with the lemon chicken plate or sandwich and you’ll be happy. AB out… until next time.

My coworkers come here a lot for lunch and I finally decided to join one day. I got the Lemon Chicken. The plate came with a decent amount of chicken, a small salad, your choice of fries or rice, and pita bread. The chicken was moist, but I couldn’t taste any lemon. The sauce it came with was really good though I drenched my food in it. Overall, not a bad lunch option if you are looking for a quick meal. Service was quick and food was good.
