Before we use our precious club pass we check the lounge, cause I had an experience with not worth pass before. the first lounge I looked was exactly like the one i wasted my United Club Pass in the past. It was small packed with people with not much of food. if I have to choose with this one ore or Starbucks, I would choose the later definitely. Luckily the host guy with grey hair told us about the other lounge in upstairs far away. We had time to kill, so we dare to walk to the better lounge. Wifi and coffee with little bit of food that’s all I wanted before the flight. Took the elevator up, landed at the lounge. The host, kinda the same old man checked our iPhone boarding pass carefully. I guess that’s a good sign. It was much nicer with the view of flying or landing planes not far. It even had illy coffee and fast wifi. Felt home immediately. Had oatmeal with raisins, illy, was happy. Serious looking bar was there, though I thought it’s early… After a few watching and checking online, I got my red and satisfied… hmhm when is our flight?! This particular lounge was formally first class only, and nice huge United Club is coming soon. I guess i have to travel more.

While this is one of the United clubs I’ve visited that offers more drink and food options than others, it’s not worth spending the money to hang out here before your next flight. The interior is blah– white walls like a cafeteria and there are fruit flies all over. Spent so much time swatting them away. Staff is friendly enough but your time and money would be better spent elsewhere.

The largest United Club in Terminal 7 is currently under construction. The Temporary lounge that is generic at best, has been a small crowded lounge for over a year now. It has now been surrounded by construction walls. The New Club is now a reality. You can here some construction, but intermittent. If you come in you can hear a drill or hammer, but it’s not too distracting. I think most of the work is done after hours, bc there were construction workers outside the lounge upon landing from an early morning flight. Guessing shift may have been over. Temporary lounge is still the same, but entrance has signs directing you to the entrance. There is a projected date posted for completion, which is Dec 2016. At the moment it is functional and serves it’s purpose, but nothing to boast about. Looking forward to the new lounge.

Worst united lounge i have been to. It’s hot, smelly and dirty. Not to mention they let people bring in outside food so it feels like a hot stinky cafeteria. I could not be more disappointed in United. If you are using a one day pass, I strongly encourage you to wait and use it at one that is halfway decent. I would rather be sit in the construction filled terminal.

Ghetto as hell! Why are United lounges at LAX so low budget. Crappy food selection, small lounges, no where to sit, dirty tables.

I guess if United is your only choice it’s a little better than waiting the public areas, but I really am not impressed. You can get a decent seat and plenty of outlets. The snacks are basic, veggies, soup, hummus, salad, etc. The breakfast was something I didn’t bother with: oatmeal, other cereal, and croissants. If you have a long wait, you definitely still feel it waiting at this club. I was in the club upstairs near gate 73. I believe it does seem a little better than the other one downstairs because it is a lot bigger. Still, United is pretty disappointing overall.

1 star for the service. Rude employees. Especially check in process. Food 1 star for breakfast. Very limited options. The views are great though for any plane porn fans

This club is pretty much equivalent to being in the gate. No privacy to speak of. Everyone is on top of each other, and for some reason, people in United clubs don’t respect personal space. So, at least when there are cubbies, you can switch to a different cubbie when someone sits at the cubbie directly across from you despite there being so many open with more privacy. This club has tables, but no way to escape the chummy flier because it’s an open room. The food is mediocre at best at many clubs. But, usually, one can find at least one snack that they’ll have seconds on.

(United Club in Terminal 7) Not good! Old furniture, nothing to eat for breakfast, and uncomfortable. I know they are building a brand new United club(you see posters everywhere) but this current one leaves a lot to be desired. I mean at least put out something people can enjoy for breakfast besides cereal. It’s not a great sign when we debated if we should go somewhere else to wait to board while sitting in this ‘exclusive’ club.

There are two United Clubs at LAX located in terminal 7. A day pass allows you access to both locations within the terminal. On the day that I visited, I stopped by both locations but ending up hanging out at the location pass Wolfgang. It was less crowded there. Why the three stars? Well I have been to better United lounges and this was just an OK experience for me. Used cups and plates were sitting around making it an eye sore. When looking for a seat, I wasn’t sure if someone was sitting there since plates were left out. The complementary snacks were soup of the day, salad, humus, and cheese. Bar service was OK with complementary red or white wine and beer. Wifi is available with ample outlets to charge your thirsty gadgets.

Every single item available during breakfast hours contained massive amounts of sugar. Cupcakes, vanilla yogurt, cereal, fruit… ect. United Lounge, how about some veggies and boiled eggs? The coffee was good, the chairs that were available were not comfortable, and I couldn’t find any outlets near the seat I did find. Second class lounge.

Missed out flight after being delayed from the Cook Islands. Decided to try and get access to lounge which check in «couldn’t» do. Since Air New Zealand is Star Alliance and they had the 4 hour plus delay that made us miss our layover flight– seems as though free entrance to this club should be mandatory. NO! Sure wasn’t! We paid $ 50 to get in! Price goes up to $ 59 tomorrow! NOTWORTHIT! This place gets two stars for one reason… Seats were cozy and okay to sit in for 12 hours! Otherwise nothing redeeming about this place! The food choices were below par! Honestly they didn’t have anything! Hummus, pita, and cheese basically!!! Dear United, treat your high class customers a little better and give them something decent to eat! Not bland soup and some finger snacks! Booze were free except premium stuff. Soda was free too! There is also free wifi which made it okay to be here all day! Wouldn’t spend the money again! And definitely won’t spend$ 59!!! Just not worth the money and not really up to the standards I’m used to in a business lounge. Try harder United!

This poor excuse for an airport lounge makes most common areas look nice by way of comparison. There are no amenities worth discussion; food is terrible(if it is being served at all), drinks cost money(???), the seating is poor, the wifi is poor, and restrooms are a joke. This airport lounge would get beaten up by competitor lounges while they are taking United’s lunch money. There is honestly very little good to say, outside of two things; 1. The hosts that greet you are the loveliest people working at LAX. They are the reason the place gets any stars from me. 2. United is working on a new lounge in this location, and no matter what they build, it will be a huge improvement over what they currently force upon us. Dear United; I love you. I fly your airline, a lot. And not only do I deserve better, but so do you. Please fix your lounge at LAX. Let’s end the embarrassment.

First time in this Club since the remodel. It seems smaller with another lounge further down the concourse. The remodel looks great. I just got off a 14hr flight from Sydney, dropped my carryon with my family and raced to find the restrooms closed for cleaning!!! poor form United to close the only rest rooms. I had to race outside to find some public ones. I then had a 5min wait to come back in just to show Im suppose to be inside. The place was overcrowded with hardly anywhere to sit. Club access was free for my family for business first from Sydney, also being a 1K and also a Club member. Ill be seriously thinking of not renewing club membership. Some standards have dropped and they all seem over crowded.

This was the first time in this United Club at Lax. We were there in the breakfast timeframe. They do have the new Club menu items which is a huge improvement. This was a smaller club and had a very clunky feel to it. It wasn’t the Oasis feel that many of the Clubs have. It feels as if they made do with the space they got and designed around it. They did have some comfy chairs which is much better than sitting out at the gate. We had an hour layover so had time to get some coffee and snacks. The snacks were very good as we had some really tasty sweet breads. The coffee was from the new style espresso machines which are so awesome. I love that I can add more espresso to my coffee. I hope they one day redo this club to make it layout better. Maybe add a business section like may of the other clubs have. Well workth heading into to avoid the gate fiasco but not as good as other clubs I have been into at LAX.

So our 30– min flight to SBP had a gate change 1 minute before the end of boarding time. We were sent to a gate 3 doors down. Within 3 minutes we all got a text telling us that our flight would take off 90 minutes later. No prob, we can get the Club. We have not been to the T7RCC(the old name) in many years. It was always quite homey in the 90s and 00s. We even encountered Dr. Ruth one time. Fast forward to today. After having been to the new United Club at SFO and several at ATL, this one is very disappointing. It looks like a factory. Not an upgrade from the RCC but a downgrade. Too bad!

Not a bad lounge area. The customer service reps were terrific in helping us change seats. I was very pleased with their assistance. The food pretty decent. I got extra helpings of their quinoa salad. Tasted extra good because I was super hungry. They offered a minestrone soup that was okay. I didn’t think the food was super memorable though. I just appreciated the fact that we had a place to sit and charge our phone. They offered many beverages too where you could get different types of juices. The one negative is that they don’t make it very obvious as to where to get the complimentary alcoholic beverages. We kept seeing people carrying wine glasses but couldn’t find it.

Cheese cubes, hummus, crackers of a questionable variety. This place is not as impressive as its exclusiveness would lead you to believe. There is a rail liquor open bar here, which I would have killed for when I was flying in college. Now that I’m traveling for business, I’m more happen to find there’s a good internet connection and a little peace and quiet. The place isn’t terrible(it beats killing time in front of a gate — I will be back), it just didn’t match the hype I’d placed on it in my mind. I got a whole new credit card just to try this place out — it feels a bit like waiting in line for three hours for a Saturday night club only to find the place is half empty.

LAX is in direct competition with JFK for my least favorite airport, but the United Club is a good place to escape at least some of the chaos. I’ve had the chance to visit the club in a couple of airports, and this was by far the busiest. It was a bit hard to find a seat, and the WiFi didn’t work particularly well. That said, the seating was comfortable, we were able to find some power outlets, the AC worked better here than the rest of the airport, and there were decent options at the continental breakfast buffet. Not up to par if you’re an elite United member who’s visited the clubs at other airports, but still a good place to get some free(ish) snacks, charge up your devices and get a break from some of the airport craziness.

Unclear why people are knocking this place. When you spend 90% of your time traveling, this place is the only sanctuary I can find. Incredibly quiet, private, and relaxing. Agree that it isn’t luxurious, but if privacy and a place to catch up on important calls and emails is what you need, then look no further. Extremely happy with my visits here.

As big and busy as LAX is, it is a relief to seek refuge in this lounge. First of all it is busy, this LAX you know. With that said there is plenty of seating, power outlets, and refreshments. Seating is fairly nice, comfortable chairs, good lighting, air movement(AC), clean and comfortable. There is a nice bar, well appointed. These are also a couple snack stations with coffee, tea, and snacks. At 6am the snacks were almost breakfast… breads, muffins, yogurts, cold cereal, fruits. Very nice. While there are most certainly some good meaningful amenities, the wifi sucks… regardless of having a password, the bandwidth appears to be inadequate for the number of people connecting. I was unable to connect and gave up after 20 minutes. United you can do better.

This my husband and my first time at the United Club lounge at LAX in early October 2014. We chose this lounge to hang out before our flight out to Paris. It’s supposedly the smaller one, quieter, and closest to our gate actually. :) Immediately when you enter, there are 2 ladies at the front desk to help you check in. We then proceeded to find a nice couch to sit on, and rest up before our long flight across the US and the Atlantic. It was really nice to have free wi-fi and a quiet place to relax(away from the hustle and bustle at the gates). The lounge opens at 5 am, and we came by around 530 am or so. There are some breakfast items there(bagels, orange juice, fruits, etc.) for you to enjoy. That’s a nice touch since some of the eateries weren’t even open that early yet, so we were able to grab a small bite to eat. :) I heard there are nicer United lounges across the world, but this was our first experience and it was great. :)
