We love bringing the kids here when we are in town. Boys have a lot of green grass for playing football, dogs are welcome and they even have a little group picnic area with cement tables and recycling bins. Bathrooms are over behind the tennis courts, and the babies love the swings and slides and other play structures filled with bark in case of falls.

Cute Park in Los Gatos! I friend told me about this park so we went and my Twins loved it! Everything looks very new and it’s located between Shannon and Blossom Hill Rd. There is a big play area for toddlers and older kids with some shade and picnic tables nearby. The park has tons of grass and trees nearby for a picnic. I suggest parking off Shannon so right by play structure. There was quite a bit of parking spaces. If you park off Blossom Hill you have to walk a bit to get to play area. Only negative is bathroom are by tennis courts so a bit of a walk if someone has to go ha!

I went to check in here last week and couldn’t find it. ??? I forgot until this week when I went to search for it again. I looked at myself on the Unilocal map– it placed me on that big patch of park green, so how am I still off the grid? How am I the first Unilocaler to review this super popular, really fun park? Strange, right? Regardless, for those Unilocal folks who didn’t know it existed, here’s what you need to know: According to the Town of Los Gatos’ website, «Blossom Hill Park is located between Shannon Road and Blossom Hill Road east of Blossom Hill School. A fully developed neighborhood park with six lighted tennis courts, a baseball field, playground area and picnic tables, B-B-Q pits, restroom facilities and large lawn areas.» Also according to Los Gatos, all park hours are 8:00a until one hour after sunset. The lighted tennis courts might have expanded hours. I’m not sure if the baseball field is lighted as well. I’m also unsure if you’ll need to make reservations for either. What I do I know is the large lawn by the Shannon Rd. entrance is used for youth(6 and under) soccer. This field is conveniently located near the playground if your soccer player has a sibling or friend or needs to unwind afterward. The parking lot at this entrance is small and fills quickly. You cannot park on Shannon Rd. during permit parking hours and so you’ll need to park on one of the side streets. ***A special note to the folks, including myself, who do this: These side street residents have been kind enough not to lobby for permit parking, at our convenience. To show our appreciation and mutual courtesy, please do not block their driveways or let passengers(even those sneaky little toddlers) leave trash behind. Let’s not spoil this arrangement for everyone, guys. Thank you and I hope you enjoy the park.***
